I love this spot for late night ice cream. Whenever I have any friends visit SoCal, I bring them here. It's so amazing to see how the spot has turned into a community spot. I love that they have soft serve based on Asian flavors. There's so many flavors that I've tried and I wish that it wasn't always rotating, but it is really exciting to try new flavors. I also love that they have asian toppings! My favorites have been the Mandarin and Yakult. I love that this spot is a community favorite because I'm always waiting in line to get my ice cream. They provide some card games if you wanna chat with friends! The spot has limited indoor seating as it's very tiny, but they also provide plastic chairs to sit outside in the parking lot. Most people sit outside on the chairs or bring it back to the car. I love that they provide free stickers, know your rights cards, and sell merch and Lactaid. I have yet to come to 626 ice cream during a community event like their Mahjong nights, but I know they collaborate with local orgs! Note that their prices are a little higher than regular soft serve spots, but I'm happy to support them as they pour back into their community. They definitely are worth the price with all the love that they put into their ice cream and their community.
Highly recommend stopping by after dinner!! They're open 7PM-late at night, so it's nice to have a place to go that's open later in the Arcadia area. Their menu frequently changes based on seasonal flavors - check their Instagram for the latest! I've been on both weekday and weekend nights, but it seems as though the line never stops coming! They even have a couple stools you can sit and enjoy your ice cream on after. The service is also top-tier despite there always having a long line. They take care to explain the flavor profile and walk you through the menu, and you can sample to your heart's desire! It took me a long time to finally try out 626 Ice Cream due to their late evening hours, but I finally made it. And I must say, it's well worth it! The vibes and decor of the space feels so homey like you're hanging out at a friend's house after school. It really brings a nostalgia along with their amazing Asian ice cream flavors. Because the ice cream is soft serve, it is lighter and creamier while the pints are more of an ice cream. Note that their scoops and pints are completely different flavors, so best to have your ice cream and take some home too. While there's a line, it went by fairly quick. The customer service here is the sweetest and they really take their time to help each customer including samples for all flavors, which causes the line (totally worth it IMO). I love being able to sample everything so I don't have to pick and choose. They also offer two flavor options no matter the size you get, which is nice. I ended up with the condensed milk and black sesame flavor. I was so amazed with the kick of ginger in the black sesame flavor to truly replicate the tongyuan flavor. The toppings are $1.95 for three, but I don't think you really need it. For the scoops, it's $6.95 for kid size and $7.75 for regular --trust me, you want the bigger cup. It's no wonder everyone raves about this spot. The vibes are great and ice cream flavors were a dream. It's the perfect treat along with the unique pint flavors you can take home.
I tried the mango sago and condensed milk. Mango sago tasted like a mango sorbet, wish it had more coconut to it. Condensed milk reminded me of the white rabbit candy. Overall, I will def be back to try out more flavors.
Can't believe that it's so popular. My friend told us to try this place after watching a movie. When we got there, the line was so long, but it went so quick! The ice cream flavors were so good, it tastes so natural imo. The servers were super nice too like they weren't tired at all lol. The inside was super unique. I got the honey misu garu and mango sago. The mango sago was on the sweet sour taste. Also, they have chairs outside where you can just grab and use it to eat there.
This place is fantastic for unique soft serve flavors. I tried the mango sago and yakult and it was a lovely pair. Toppings are 3 for $1.99. The peaches in osmanthus syrup was a lovely touch. They rotate their flavors and have at least 6 at any given time. Some of the past flavors in rotation are ruby apple, nien goa, pandan coconut, POG w mango, ube I will return to try them all. It was a very nice treat on a warm summer evening. The doors open exactly at 7pm and the line starts forming 5 min before opening. It's a real treat!!

A friend took me to 626 Ice Cream (626 hospitality group) and I was so impressed. I was able to try a sample of all the flavors - unfortunately the mandarin was being phased out - I bet that one would've been amazing too! I ended up getting a kiddie size cup with yakult and mango sago and it was the perfect nightcap for the evening. There was a line, but the wait was not horrible, plus the parking lot had ample space. I'll definitely be back.
626 Ice Cream is well worth its hype. They make yogurts with Asian inspired flavors. It happened to be around our plans and we went right when they opened at 7PM on a Saturday. There were already people waiting and a decently sized line began to form! Despite the growing crowd, the person who helped us was very friendly and encouraged us to try all the flavors if we wanted to. While we tried each flavor, she described each of its components in great detail - something I truly appreciated!! Everything was delicious but I personally ended up getting the Mango Sago and Vietnamese Coffee (probably would not mix the two next time lol but delicious individually). The mango sago tasted like fresh mangoes and reminded me of a rich high quality mango sorbet. SO. Good. The perfect summer treat! Vietnamese coffee tasted exactly like how the drink would taste, which I was honestly surprised about since coffee ice creams are flavored a bit sweeter than the actual drink. It was perfect for me but may not be everyone's cup of tea because it does have bitterness :) The ambiance in there is amazing - details in every cranny and nook of the space. It's retro and very chill / relaxing! There are a very limited amount of tables but I did see stacks of plastic stools for people to sit on outside. Also there's a coin machine where you can purchase lactaid. A small gesture keeping the community in mind haha.
Visited 626 Ice Cream and was surprised at how long the line was. The interior of the shop is small, so most of the queue is outside waiting. After waiting for 20-25 minutes, the staff provided me samples of all the flavors if you are a first time comer. I ended up getting the mango sago and ca phe sua da (coffee) with toppings for ~$11. The mango sago tasted like a mango sorbet while the ca phe sua de had a nice bold bitter coffee taste. Both flavors had a texture similar to frozen yogurt rather than traditional ice cream. Although the flavors are unique, the long line and price point might be off putting.
Always such a pleasure to have a late night run to 626 Ice Cream! The owners definitely put a lot of thought + intention into the interior design of this place. The workers are always delightful and full of energy. The first time I ever came here (in a group of five) the employee let all of us sample each flavor, explaining the unique flavors with a genuine smile! The ice cream is worth coming back for and the employees make it such a pleasant experience every time...626 is just a shining star in SGV.
What a hidden gem but expect a long line! Came here on a Tuesday night and somehow beat the crowd. They are incredibly generous, offering samples for each of their flavors, hence the long line. They definitely could make their workflow more efficient to shorten the wait time. I opted for the black sesame and mango sago, which were creamy, packed with flavor, and not overly sweet. There's limited seating inside so expect to stand outside while eating or take it back home. Definitely will be back!
excellent customer service - the patient and informative staff provided us samples of each soft serve flavor and walked us through the flavor profile of each one! ca phe sua da - as someone who cannot tolerate sweets and typically doesnt enjoy ice cream.. this was PHENOMENAL. very bitter, strong, and just like vietnamese coffee but in the form of a soft serve! if u love things on the sweeter side, this might not be for you. but this definitely was The One for me! if they sold a pint size of this, i'd buy it and welcome it as the first and only pint of ice cream in my freezer. honey misugaru - warm, spiced, earthy. it feels cozy and makes me feel like im relaxing on a warm cozy christmas night mango sago - very refreshing and light; perfect for a hot summer day. i did not taste the sago notes though. condensed milk - tasted just like the white rabbit candy! milky and creamy. the line went by quick on a saturday around 8pm. there are stools outdoors to utilize if the indoor seating is full. they had such cool vintage interior decor that transports you to another world. absolutely loved every detail- every section of the space that i took a photo of had great composition and style. there are board games like chess and we are not really strangers to play and baking books to peruse by the tables.
A+ all around for the nostalgic retro decor, asian-loved ice cream flavors, being open late night, and their amazing team members for their service. Kinda makes me think, "Is this where all the cool kids go?" said by: definitely not a cool kid me. My gal friend and I always want dessert and believe life is always better with sweets. It was around 9 pm already, and of course, we wanted something sweet to end our day. The plaza on Duarte Rd is pretty dark, but 626 Ice Cream was the bright corner filled with tons of people in line, even at 9 pm. They have their posted in a few spots in the line so customers can check out the flavors. My friend was happy there is something non-dairy for her, which was the Mango Sago flavor. They seem to change up their ice cream flavors every now and then I noticed, which is so fun! It was our first time here, and the man who helped us was very sweet in letting me try all the 6 flavors and pick my favorite. I ended up with their Cereal Ice Cream flavor which tasted like a childhood milk & cereal breakfast, the sweet milk you drink after you finished your cereal. I thought "wow!" This was totally it and I fell in love with it. I also want to mention their Yakult flavor was amazing as well; it's the perfect tartness I love in Yakult drinks and had just a teeny bit of sweetness to it. It's great for those friends you may have in your life who just want a little bit of sweetness. Their toppings are so fun, and I would just go back for their toppings to be honest. I asked the team member to choose my toppings for me, you get 3 toppings if you get the mini cup size. So I got red bean, cacao nibs, and mochi. I would come back to eat this combination over and over again. My friend got a Mango Sago flavor, it's non-dairy, with Mochi and Fruit. She loved it as well and I got to try some of it - it packs a punch in mango flavor and is soooo good with their mochi! There is cozy seating inside, or you can totally be a cool kid and pick up one of those stools outside and sit in the parking lot. So nostaligic almost like a backyard party. Really unique Asian-inspired ice cream flavors, and I love that they rotate their selection! The mango sago was definitely my favorite--it was delicious and had a great balance of flavors. The Yakult and condensed milk flavors, unfortunately, weren't really for me. I also thought the ice cream was pretty expensive--nearly $10 for a small cup is a little steep lol. I'd still come back to try some of their other rotating flavors! read more

I had a great experience at 626 Ice cream! The flavors they have switch up and are very interesting and on theme to "Asian" flavors! The staff is super friendly and offered a sample flight to try everything- and went out their way to explain each flavor too. I chose their mango sago and yakult, which was refreshing and accurate to the flavor! I love the topping choices they have- some uncommon ones such as peach osmanthus tea and haw flakes! My partner got the cafe sua da and condensed milk which complimented it well. The cafe sua da flavor was pretty strong! I normally can't eat a lot of sweets but I was able to finish a regular on my own because it lived up to its "not too sweet" description! Nonetheless, dont let the lines discourage you! The service takes their time with each customer! The store itself had limited seating but i like how there are stools outside to sit on! read more
The service was awesome. They offered for us sample each flavor because it was our first time without us even asking. Each one was so rich and flavorful. They use real fruits for their fruity flavors and the vietnamese coffee one was authentic. Inside was so aesthetically pleasing too. I can't wait to come back to try new upcoming flavors. read more

Update: Came back on Mother's Day to try their Mango Sago flavor and I am so glad that I did! Food: I tried all the different ice cream flavors and though I am bummed that the honey misu garu isn't here anymore, the mango sago and condensed milk flavor was incredible! Service: Great service as always! We were a group of 6 and the staff were incredibly patient and kind to us! Ambiance: Such a cool interior, we love the ambiance in here! The ambience inside was super cool and I can definitely see why there were a lot of people hanging out with friends! The staff was especially sweet and patient and made sure to describe all the flavors and was super helpful with offering samples. The flavors were also very in depth and strong and I like how they rotate their flavors so I can definitely come back and try new ones. It was a bit on the pricier side with a regular ice cream and toppings costing $10 but definitely nice if you're gonna share with somebody for a little treat. Parking is pretty convenient as the parking lot is a decent size. read more

The service was exceptional here as they gave us free samples and provided us with a detailed explanation of each flavor. Such an interesting place- the decor, the opening hours and the ice cream flavors! It's giving late night vibes especially with being open from 7:00 PM until 11:00 PM / midnight and the moody lighting. A line formed right before they open with dedicated customers waiting patiently. Seating is very limited and many people take their ice cream to go. Families, young adults, teens, grandparents- people of all ages come here. Atmosphere is cool, decor is fun. I'm amazed about the flavors they've concocted. During this visit they had condensed milk, mango sago, yakult, black sesame and Vietnamese coffee. The Vietnamese coffee is spot on (I should know I'm a viet girl who gets her viet coffee from time to time). Mango sago was delicious and yakult's flavor was perfect, too! The condensed milk- I couldn't really pick it up flavor wise but I'm thankful for having it along side the viet coffee which balances out the bitterness beautifully. The consistency of the soft serve is impeccable. The topping choices are *chefs kiss*. So Asian, so beautiful. Service was great! They let you try out the flavors before purchase . Luckily they don't have a lot of options so it didn't take forever while waiting in line. I heard they rotate different flavors every week and a half or so. This ice cream shop is pretty much the only dessert place in this area that opens late. The service is always really fast and we're super helpful despite the amount of people there crowding inside. The ice cream is fine, they switch out to unique asian flavors every few months and some are great but some are really a miss for me. Its a great place to hang out and if u can get a nice table too. My wife and I came by to 626 Ice Cream earlier this month to redeem the deal from the SGV Passport. It was for a Buy 2 get 2 free deal and it included toppings. I wrote a review a year ago and wanted to update it as it was still a 5 star experience for me! They open at 7pm and there were already people waiting in line. The shop rotates flavors often and the soft serves are all good! This recent visit was great! The staff let us sample per usual and explained how we could redeem our offer. My wife ended up getting 4 different flavors. The Blueberry Fig (dairy free), Mandarin (dairy free), Nian Gao (red bean) and one of my favorites the BLACK SESAME! We were able to choose 2 toppings each and we got them all with lids as we were going to take the other 2 home. They also offer some of past flavors as pints and we took home the Coconut Pandan (dairy free) that one is tremendous, btw! The location continues to be one of a kind from the tables and seats to the unique flavors of soft serve! Customer service is still great and the flavors are elite! Thanks again, 626 Ice Cream! First time visiting--I drove 45 minutes to check it out, and honestly, I don't think it was worth the trip. I tried the blueberry fig and the mandarin flavors, and the blueberry fig was WAYY better. The mandarin was just too tart for my taste. As for toppings, I really liked the mochi and almonds. Service was decent, and the ambiance is cool and vibey--it feels like being in a wine bar, but for ice cream. I do appreciate that they're open late. read more

626 Ice Cream is a popular ice cream shop for a good reason. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. They will also provide free samples and an explanation for each one you try. Every month, they create unique flavors and a few dairy-free based ones. There is at least one dairy-free flavor, which is great so there is something for everyone. On this visit, there were two! I ordered their Blueberry Fig which is described as "bright wild blueberries married with jammy figs". It has a similar flavor profile to açaí. I added cocoa nibs and goji berries for some added texture. It was light and refreshing. I finished mine very quickly! I also ordered their Mandarin to go. This one has a tart and citrusy flavor. It's also light and refreshing. I added cocoa nibs and goji berries to this one as well. I love their interior! It's unique and on-brand. There are very few tables and seats. There is one table with a chessboard laid out. If you're looking for more ice cream, they also sell pints that are no longer being served in their monthly rotation next to their register. My husband got the Coconut Pandan. We enjoyed that one very much! The coconut flavor was not overpowering and the texture was creamy. If you're looking for an ice cream spot that produces unique flavors in-house every month, give this one a try. It will not disappoint! As always, great job, 626 Ice Cream! read more

This place lives up to the hype of new trendy LA ice cream places. I love their motto of "Not too sweet", a phrase that is a high compliment in the Asian-American dessert community. Their flavors are very unique, with yakult and misugaru being some of the stand-outs. They also have fun toppings like mochi and sago! I really liked the service because each staff member was very accommodating and let us try as many flavors as we wanted! They also gave us some stickers to take home :) Loved the late night vibes and all of the fun board games they had laying around for people to play! read more

I loved the crossword puzzle on the window that customers can do while they wait in line. It's such a fun concept! Anyway, I got the cà phê sũa dá (coffee) and condensed milk with red bean oats and Cinnamon Toast Crunch as my toppings. WOW. It was absolutely delicious!!! The bitterness of the coffee soft serve with the sweet (but not too sweet) condensed milk was perfection. And WOW can we please talk about the RED BEAN OATS?! I literally want to buy a whole bowl of that alone. Sooo good and great textures. Customer service is excellent, and the vibe inside is so cool. There's really nothing like it in my experience. This place has very cool and unique flavors (often inspired from Asian cuisine) but the line is way too long and the selection of flavors is lacking. They do have limited time flavors and rotate frequently which is cool. They let you try each flavor once you're inside (the space inside is VERY small, with very few seating). They have free stickers for you to take which is cool. Decor and vibes on the inside is geared towards the younger generation. Not very family oriented or for kids. It's honesty overhyped. read more
Seems like their ice cream flavor rotates out every so often. Sad that i wasnt able to try cafe sue da. When you get their regular size, you can choose 2 flavors and if you want toppings you can have up to 3 choices. I ended up picking blueberry and nian gao. The blue berry was tart and the nian gao was creamy so it was a good mix. I added ct crunch, mochi, and oreo to make it a little sweeter as the soft serve isnt too sweet. Also came before there was a long line so she gave us a sample of each flavor. I was trying ti see which ones were yogurt and which ones were soft serve as a party member is allergic to yogurt and she kept offering yakult samples.. which wouldve been a nogo for someone allergic. I guess it was loud in the store so she couldnt hear. Seems to have lots of parking but be prepared to wait because samples take a while if everyone is trying them. read more
Amazing soft serve with so many amazing flavors! Apparently they also rotate them every few months. I really enjoyed the mandarin and yakult flavors. They also have a lot of pints with flavors not shown on their menu as well. Many are vegan, and definitely Asian inspired. Besides the bomb soft serve, the workers are so friendly and welcoming. I felt very comfortable in this shop. Parking is plenty, and the aesthetic is hard to beat. Highly recommend!! read more

Haven't stopped thinking about this place after going over the weekend. The soft serve is so creamy and unforgettable! Parking is widely available within the lot. People will even sit outside of the shop's parking lot spaces if there is no seating inside. They have numerous small stools for guests to use and move around for seating. The staff is extremely friendly and extremely knowledgeable about each individual flavor. Samples are highly encouraged by staff and provided in tiny souffle cups. There's a variety of asian toppings to accompany the soft serve too! Pints are also offered in a small freezer at checkout. A fun bonus is the free sticker at the end of the line. The stickers change frequently! The yakult soft serve was yogurty and tart. The condensed milk soft serve was very creamy and not too sweet. The mandarin soft serve was tart and orangey. The nian gao soft serve tasted exactly like a nian gao. The aftertaste for the soft serve really lingered for this one. After all the samples, I ended up choosing yakult and condensed milk for my final cup. There were multiple toppings, but I really enjoyed the soft serve plain. I hope to come back again soon for the same flavors! Also looking forward to trying any new flavors in the future. Really love this place... there's nothing else like it! read more
Rosemead and the Viet Garvey scene are starting to blow up. An ice cream place that is only open late at night, with cool Bosso Nova music blasting, mood lighting, and a long line around the block? Felt like I was somewhere more exciting than a suburb. I ordered the probiotic ice cream and mazapan toppings, which was good for my late-night digestion. my friend and i stopped by here for some late night ice cream - we came here on a friday night around 9:45 PM and there was a line out the door. we waited around 10-15 minutes which isn't too bad - the inside had a very small and had nice ambiance but seating is very limited - we were able to try some flavors inside which was nice but we ended up getting the mango sago and condensed milk flavors with mochi toppings. we got it in a kid size which was indeed the right amount for us. the mango sago has the right amount of mango flavor; this was my favorite out of the two. i'm not a big fan of condensed milk but this condensed milk flavor was pretty good and it didn't have a weird taste that i personally find myself when tasting condensed milk. - the service was fast and the workers were so nice. they were very patient with us when we were trying out the flavors. overall, would love to come back here again since they do switch out their flavors! read more
This is such a unique ice cream shop! They offer Asian-inspired ice cream flavors. You can also get Lactaid for $1, if you need it. The vibes are also really cool, especially at night. I went here for the first time on 2/25/26. You get to sample all of the flavors. My friend and I shared the Kid's size, which was plenty for us. We tried all of the flavors and decided to get condensed milk and mandarin. The tartness of the mandarin balanced out the thick creaminess of the condensed milk. I also really liked blueberry fig. Came here for a late night dessert and it definitely hit. Flavors lean more Asian style, so nothing is overly sweet, which I really liked. You can sample before choosing, and every cup comes up to two flavors. . Really liked the Yakult and condensed milk. They also have a bunch of toppings (3 for ~$1.95), so it's easy to mix and match. huge shoutout to Donny for helping us out tonight!! because of his service i was inspired to write him a deserving review: WOW, I know this place is called 626 Hospitality, but I had no idea how much the staff goes above and beyond to give us as much information as possible and share their passion for the place. It was our first time here, and Donny was more than happy to let us sample all the flavors. He gave extremely detailed descriptions, which made the soft serve sound so appetizing ~ and truly intentional. What's unique is their quarterly rotating menu. It's not every day you see a modernized Asian-flavored soft serve shop. It definitely stands out in that way. We were also introduced to traditional Chinese toppings like plum powder (it added an extra tang) to my blueberry froyo, hawthorn, and so much more. The place is amazing! There's seating indoors and outdoors, and the purple and yellow really add to the vibe :) I also loved how they leaned into lunar new year - which flavors represented prosperity, luck, peace. Pretty cool ice cream shop that is open late. The line may look long, but moves quickly. My partner and I were able to sample some flavors before ordering. I really like the condensed milk flavor, which is sweet and creamy. The yakult flavor is a close second. The flavors do rotate every now and then, so certain flavors may not be on the menu anymore. For what you are getting, I do find it to be a bit pricey. Adding toppings will cost extra. The soft serve is served in a cup, in which you can choose up to 2 flavors per cup. Since it seems that this shop is quite popular, it would be great if there were more tables and seating available. The shop is very small and feels like a tight squeeze inside. read more
