Filaga inside Chelsea Market is a must-try if you're craving authentic Italian pizza. The pizza has that perfect brick-oven flavor with a crispy yet soft crust, and the ingredients taste fresh and high quality. The downside there's limited seating, but it's a great spot to grab a quick bite while exploring.

Bufalina tasted fine. But 10 bucks just for this one thing is robbery imo. Maybe if it had another element or two, I'd have been more comfortable.

Nice Sicilian joint inside Chelsea Market. Expensive for what you get but you're paying for location. Quickly greeted in a shopping mall line style service, and you have to order then wait for your food. Several options but I chose the "spicy pepperoni". interesting flavors that didn't quite mesh.

This pizza is AMAZING! They had so many different slices to choose from. The slices are quite big so if wanting to try the different kinds I'd recommend sharing. Can get pretty busy at the market so not always able to find a spot easily to sit. They have seating available right at the bar area in front of the checkout area. Recommend grabbing a few napkins as it can get a little messy!

Plain slice. Well baked but just ordinary. You can get way better pizza for a lot less than $6.

So, a bit of a disclaimer, I hate fru-fru pizza places that hold themselves out to be artisan. Also, this place is in Chelsea Market so I should have expected it. Regardless, it is just OK pizza. It was pretty well baked but the cheese was not to my liking and the sauce was just kind of there. The plopped three basil leaves on it just to be clever. Oh, and did I mention it was $6 for a slice. You can get way better pizza for a lot less. Again, not terrible pizza but just annoying experience all around.

Filaga@Chelsea Market 75 9th. Ave. New York, NY 10011 Pisellone This Roman style pizza block is not your typical everyday pizza most Americans are accustomed to. Having a minute amount of cheese and several toppings, the Sicilian slice is similar to focaccia bread. It's an excellent choice, but one must have an acquired taste and a sense of curiosity!

Needed to grab a bite one evening and this hit the spot. I got a slice of the Diavola, and while the pepperoni was pretty good, the crust actually may have been my favorite part. Overall a very solid slice.

I was starving midday while walking around the city and came across this busy, but efficient, pizzeria in Chelsea Market! There's not a ton of space, but there are bar seats to look into the pizza making process which was very entertaining (and enticing lol) while waiting for your slice. I was a bit skeptical of the higher price per slice, but this pizza was SO good- literally melted in my mouth. The slice was also a good portion size. Would definitely recommend!

Stopped by after some errands, walked around the entire market and this place just called my name. Everyone was so pleasant, place is clean and the display looked great. I wanted the eggplant slice, and asked about something else vegetarian and they suggested the potato with rosemary option. Both were delicious! I will be back!!

This will definitely hit the spot if you're in Chelsea Market, you're hungry, and it's busy-- the line here moves. It's pretty good pizza with a crunchy bottom and a variety of topping offerings. I liked the cotto e funghi in particular! I think it's slightly overpriced, but it is what it is with the area that you're in. I also found the bread to be particularly thick and doughy-- it was just a little too starchy for me. But I also get that I'm getting more bread for my buck, so maybe I shouldn't be complaining as much.

Honestly a pretty good pizza spot. I wasn't planning on eating here but when I walked by the aroma was amazing and the pizzas on display looked delicious. My favorite of the slices was the Margherita although their other slices were very good too. Definitely recommend checking them out if you're at the Chelsea Market.

As I wandered through Chelsea marketplace I laid eyes on what looked like the most appetizing pizza I have ever seen. The line was long and I didn't mind waiting. When I received my pizza, I took one bite and realized the bread was super duper crunchy. I like really soft bread with my pizza so that was a negative for me. The flavor itself was pretty good. If you like crunchy pizza you will love this place.

Fantastic Pizza! Stopped by for a slice as part of a Chelsea Market food tour. Enjoyed some outdoor seating. The crust was crispy and the sauce was tasty. Will make a trip back to the area when visiting NYC again

If you answered "yes" to all three, then Fumo is a place to seriously consider. The restaurant is bright and comfortable. The service is fast and attentive. The menu has lots of excellent choices. The portions are generous. The prices are very reasonable. There you go ! Fumo is for you, (at least the Chelsea location) is for you. Any drawbacks ? youi ask.....well, yes, there is one, and it should be cosnidered. The restaurant is so so so popular that the noise level can be a bit ..... shall we say "daunting." Fumo is a great place but if you want a soft, quiet place to have a serious conversation, maybe save it for another time....

This means those dishes aren't truly gluten free for people with celiac disease or anyone who has to avoid gluten. When I pointed that out to my server, he just gave me a blank stare. I tried to explain why labeling those items as gluten free is misleading, but he seemed completely disinterested, even annoyed, dismissed what I was saying, and simply responded that the pasta is gluten free. I acknowledged that the server doesn't write the menu, but absolutely zero customer service skills. The service overall was lacking. Aside from taking our order, no one checked on us or came back to see if we needed anything. Our server was just hanging out chatting up the hostess. We had to request the bill from the manager & paid at the hostess stand. Before paying, I spoke with the manager and explained what had occured. He was more professional than the server, but he was still dismissive of my concerns and of the service we received. Management seemed happy enough to promote the "option". The food was okay, definitely not enough to make up for the poor service and handling of a serious dietary issue. Needless to say I will not be returning.
