I used to like this spot. I always make an appointment vs a doing a walk im so this should ensure that I'm taken care of on time. They are taking way too many walk ins as of late and when I go I have to wait longer and longer. Also, the girls are constantly rushed. Last week they forgot to file my nails and only painted one coat of color (my own color I brought with me). Maybe she's finally figured out that once 5 minutes elapses, I leave. If only I received a realistic time expectation so I could handle other business while I waited I would wait or return in that time frame but for some reason she insists on me sitting there doing nothing. After reading such good reviews I tried this nail salon for a walk in pedicure. I was the only client when I walked in asking for a pedicure. I had looked at the website beforehand and knew they had a menu selection of pedicure styles. The female who was working on me didn't offer me any choices when she started so, I asked to see the menu. Probably a big mistake since she didn't offer it, she probably was not "into" adding any extra service. I picked the 35.00 pedicure which, has s salt scrub, paraffin wax treatment, mud mask for the legs, callus remover and 10 minute massage. This woman acted like she was in a rush and it was a busy busy day She never checked for ingrown nails, which, I believe is a standard. I tried yo tell her but she acted like she was not aware. When it came time for the paraffin, she placed a plastic bag over my foot with melted wax inside. When I said, "Ouch Too Hot!" She replied ,"Too hot? Sorry" but kept the bag on my foot and pressed the wax on to my foot. More people had come in by now and all the employees were working side my side. They were talking in their native language which, I really don't have an issue with but, When it came apparent they were making fun of an elderly lady that came in I started to get annoyed. Well, she painted my toes lightning quick and they looked thick and messy around the cuticles. I arrived at 2:00pm and my pedicure with all the extra add ons lasted till 2:30. Seriously, give me a break, any basic pedicure when done appropriately should be about 40 min. Mine was 30? Why did this employee even bother to assist me if she didn't feel like working? I mean at the time I walked in I was the only client there. I observed the other employees actions with customers while I sat there getting an absolutely awful B.S. Pedicure. They appeared more client oriented and focused on treating the paying customer. I landed the dud burned out lazy one. I will never go back. I will find another salon like Oceanview Nails where client satisfaction matters. read more

Very unprofessional and they didn't even ask what kind of pedicure I wanted. She tried to get me done super fast, didn't even scrub my feet. I had to ask her and once I did she was pissy about it and was rough and finished way to fast didn't even take her time on my paint. I was hoping to have a relaxing much needed mommy time away and this was so uncomfortable. Plus the whole time she was speaking in her native tough obviously about me. Def not returning. I'm not really sure how others feel this place deserves a 5 star rating. I have gone here multiple times within the last 5 years hoping the next experience would be better than the last. Sadly, each time is seemingly worse. Each time I walk in I am ignored for a good 5 minutes before someone asks if they can help. Once I state I would like an acrylic fill they, as most salons do, try to convince me of getting other services as well. After I decline their additional services, my service is rushed and I feel as if I am being pushed out the door for the next customer who might agree to a pedicure or extra 5 minute hand massage. I was told by Tony that he was the best at acrylics. And while he does do a decent job, not the best but decent, his attitude is irritating to say the least. I have had my nails done by him twice, each time he has tried to convince me to get colored acrylic powder on my nails, which limits you in changing color each time you get a fill forcing you to get a new set. He holds loud conversations in a different language with those around him and pay no attention to the person in front of him at all. The last time I went it too THREE PEOPLE to figure out the super easy nail design I asked for which I have done on myself a million times. The ONLY reason I didn't give this place a 1 star rating is because the job they do is not horrible. Needless to say, I will do everything I can to not have to go to them in the future. read more

Like stated in previous posts, the girls hold loud conversations right over you. I asked for callus remover, and the girl scrubbed so hard by my big toe she actually gave me a wound. Once they finished my mani and pedi they just left me sitting in the chair. After about 5 minutes when no one came back for me I got my sandals on myself and took the separator out from my toes. No one offered to help me or said a word. I am a low maintenance girl, hate inconveniencing people, and am nice to workers. I felt like I wasted my time and my money. They also are using those fluorescent dry towels ( like the kind you can by at Costco to dry your car with and use around the house) under your feet for your pedicure. It looks really ghetto. I stumbled onto this place after buying some Rainbows and I'm so glad I did! It's spacious and airy and clean! Everyone was super friendly. They even have a little fridge with sodas and juice for you to sip on while getting your nails done. My mom got a mani and she said the girl who worked with her was sweet and did a good job too. I got a pedi and the massage chair was great, and my leg massage was perfect! My French pedi looks great, and I'm pretty neurotic about the way it looks, if that's any indication of how happy I am with my nails! read more

This is by far the best nail salon in San Clemente! Being a downtown SC shop owner myself that receives regular mani/pedi's, I'm very familiar with many of the nail salons around town. When my nail tech Angel moved to Final Touch a few months ago I moved with her. This salon is super clean and has all new chairs and fixtures. They pay great attention to detail, offer you drinks, and even hand out little gift bags at Christmas! Angel is the most amazing nail tech who gives a fantastic massage with your service...she's my "go to" for a mani, pedi and just some relaxing soothing touch! The salon offers organic products for a small extra fee and this is important to me. Everyone there treats me like family. The manager, Kelly is the sweetest lady and also does an amazing job on services. If Angel isn't in, I use Kelly, Ana or Annie. You will feel so pampered at Final Touch Nail Salon that you won't want to ever go anywhere else. Thank you Angel and all the others for making my visits so special! read more

Honestly I have been going to this place for a while and i really did like them because they are excellent at nail art, but when i went in around valentines day, all i wanted was pink colored acrylics with gel polish like i get every time and the man there constantly tried to upsell me and first of all, I understand that upselling customers makes you more money and stuff like that, but this man didn't stop. So since he could "barely speak English" he was saying things that I didn't quite understand and was reassuring me so i kept nodding and closed my eyes. Well, I ended up with pink TIPS instead of just a pink coating which will be more expensive when I want to change the color because i will have to get a whole new set and he had filed my nails down SO short that I had to sleep with ice packs on my fingers that night because my fingers were in soo much pain and the skin underneath my nail was completely exposed so it hurt every time I touched something with my nail......oh yeah and they gave me an infection on my toe that same day from an ingrown toenail they created during my pedicure......dont think ill be coming here again...my new favorite salon is Serenity in Talega next to Panera! I went to get my pedicure today and the salon I have been going to for years had closed. I decided to go to this one because a friend and I had gone a few times years ago and it was the only other one I knew. I guess it will be a search for a replacement salon for a while because this is definitely NOT it! I never liked how dark and gloomy it is but, today the person who did my pedicure was rough and hurried (even though it was practically empty and they had several extra staff on hand. Four of them were sitting in a back corner playing cards!) I was poked, and snipped over and over and finally grabbed my foot away stating that this is supposed to be relaxing but had been nothing but painful! My nails were not cleaned properly so he just tried to wipe it off before applying polish! They are not cut straight, were not filed smoothly. I was very upset. I had hoped someone else would cash me out so I could mention it but they were all too busy with their card game and since I was his customer they made him get up and do it. Saved on the tip! This place has false advertising and terrible customer service. I went here solely because there website says "free beer or wine" right below "walk ins welcome". So I went there and asked for a pedicure and glass of wine. They were snooty to me and said they don't give you beer or wine unless you come in with a party of 10 people or more. This is ridiculous because they don't have enough employees to even service that many customers. I pulled up their website and showed them what they were advertising and how it doesn't say anything about needing 10 people. They still refused to honor what they are advertising. I was about to walk out but the lady said they would give me a free coke if I stayed. So I thought oh okay and sat down and got the pedicure. They didn't bring me the coke so I asked for it, and then they tell me "oh we don't have coke". Not only are they scamming people but the employees sat around speaking in another language the whole time. So rude!! I Wish i could give them zero stars. First time i went there my French tips with zebra stripes on every finger and rhinestones on four turned out great! Cost $45 and They stayed for a long time too! About six weeks. Well one came off and the others had grown out so i decided to go in for a whole new set and i was super excited to try a different design. Well after she basically ripped off the previous nails (they were more than half off and cracked there was no reason to do it as rough as she did) i was only able to afford two finger design of a super easy heart. Cost $55. Which doesn't make sense. Do they just change the price when they feel like it??? Maybe they should Stay consistent? Maybe??? Anyways, besides the ripping of the nails, when she started doing the pink part it burned like no tomorrow that has never happened to me before. Then when she was almost done i asked if she could put a line of silver where the pink and white meet. Took her four tries to actually get it on the pink and the white and it still came out looking like crud. Also my husband could have done a much better job!! She didn't get near my cuticle at all and my nails are moving not only do i feel it but you can see it!! And it hurts like hell! Once again that has never happened! ! Then she randomly charges me 55 freaking dollars! !! Wth??? Do they chArge more for Less work and shitty outcomes???? I will never go here again unless I want to feel tortured and used.
