I will never go there again, there was one person doing acrylics/fills. I went in for a full waited about 10 minutes. Nails werent fully painted, he didn't ask me what shape I wanted and automatically started making my nails round when I wanted square so he had to make my nails super short to make them square, also the technician filled through my acrylic while cutting down my nails leaving a huge gash in my nail and he didn't even bother to fix it. My mom went in to get both a pedicure and a fill.. she waited 20 minutes before they actually sat her down on a pedicure chair and waited another 20 minutes until they actually started on her.. it wasn't even busy and kept sending 3 different people to work on her??!! We were there almost 3 hours!!! Yes the nails were overall ok but besides the fact that she had to wait, they rushed it with her and cut her a few times and made her bleed!!! How unsanitary is that! They need to be more careful! If they cut one person I can only imagine how many other people they cut cause of how rushed they all are! I used to love this place and religiously came here monthly for a fill and pedi.. but over the years their staff and the customer service have really set a bad name to their business! Literally the BEST nail spot around! I have been coming here for years and refer anyone who compliments my nails here (which happens ALL the time!) I have even moved up to an hour away and tried to find a different nail spot to save myself the commute but there is no substitution for the quality work they do here. I always get their Powder Nails and Gel toes for around 60-70 plus tip which last a good 3 plus weeks. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

If you're in San Clemente and wanting to get your nails done, I highly suggest going to V Nails or even Mingees over this establishment. Just went for the first time after reading the reviews on here, but unfortunately it was probably the worst experience I've had at a nail salon before. My friend and I came in around 5:30 pm on a Monday, so it wasn't busy at all. They have around 30 nail polish colors to chose from, mostly reds and pinks from OPI. None of the colors were particularly colors I would choose (for those who enjoy light pinks) but I did find some ok ones. The massage chairs you sit in don't work, and we didn't get bubbles going for our feet, or a massage. In fact, the water wasn't even freshly poured. They didn't talk to us at all, and moved quickly from base coat to polish and top coat without providing enough time for the polish to dry in between. At one point, the lady was blowing on my toes to try and make them dry faster. My pedicure was done in 6 minutes. SIX. For my manicure I had a man doing my nails who was a little older, and he didn't speak english. He doesn't cut cuticles correctly up to standard and didn't file or buff my nails. They do let your nails soak and you do get the arm massage though. My manicure was done extremely poorly. It could have been due to the polish used and not his skills, but it was done streaky, as he rushed to put top coat on immediately after applying the polish. When I asked if he could touch up the nails that were streaky, he sighed, started talking to others in another language, and put dots of polish on my nails instead of redoing them. The polish was done so poorly, that I said I didn't want a manicure anymore and he took off the polish in a very rough manner and walked away pretty rudely. After not being satisfied with my manicure, and leaving without any polish on my nails, they still tried having me pay the full $25. I read other reviews of them not accepting gift certificates etc, but I've never heard of them not giving you a discount or only charging you with what you're satisfied with. I'm not sure if it's just because of the time that we came in, but the quality of the work that is done here is just not up to standard, and certainly not worth $25. My friend ended up getting cut a few times by their cuticle trimmer and overall, our experience was flat out negative. This place is affordable, but you get what you pay for, and it's worth going elsewhere. P.S. THEY LET YOU GET A PEDICURE IF YOU HAVE CUTS OR OPEN SORES (ex. blisters) ON YOUR FEET IN THE PEDICURE STATION AND THEN LET SOMEONE ELSE USE THE STATION RIGHT AFTER YOU...WITHOUT CHANGING THE WATER. It was to the point where I had to say, "I told you I want a regular pedicure 5 times, please respect that." Then the bad mouthing me in another language started and continued throughout my pedicure. Worst service I've ever experienced at a Nail salon. Every worker was SO rude. Treated me with such disrespect. I went in for a simple manicure. They acted offended that I wasn't getting gel or a pedicure. I felt as though I was a burden for getting a manicure. When she finished my nails, she told me not to go to the nail dryer and had me sit at my chair and wait for them to dry? No one was in the entire shop but me. The woman who did my acrylic set was unfriendly and was rushing it, she did not give me a manicure but tried charging me for one. I had gotten acryllics for a special event. In my experience, they start to come up within the first two weeks. I had not planned to get a fill, as I had another event coming up shortly after and wanted fresh ones for it. Here, about 6 weeks later, most the nails are still going strong. Their work is definitely PRO! Let me first say that I'm the kind of girl who has trouble keeping nails on for a week. When I first got mine done here, they lasted 3 weeks! DONT GO! So I've use to go there all the time and loved it before I went to china for nine months. This is my first time back since and well it was a terrible experience! I will never go again. Firstly I asked a question about the types of acrylic nail options and the guy Tony tried to make me feel stupid saying "you understand nothing" it literally took all of me not to cuss him out he was so incredible rude! Anna is hands down the best nail tech I've encountered in years. She offers advice, but will always do what you've requested once she understands where you're coming from. For example: I ask for builder gel. I've been told by several technicians, including Anna, that it's not good for my real nails and gel polish is better. But once I explained the line of work I'm in and how rough I am on my nails, she complied. She is attentive and gentle. I started coming here with my mom a few months ago. I always just got my nails and my toes done, Gel manicure, regular toes, always a good job. I was going on a big trip so I decided to get waxed, I talked to the girl about it, who did the waxing. I had told her I was very sensitive to waxing but if it's done properly I wouldn't have problems. She had said, that she had sensitive wax that she could use. So I decided to get it done before my trip, probably one of the worst things I could have done. I went to school for aesthetician, so I know what's right and wrong. The whole process of the waxing was done wrong, she did not spread the wax properly, the wax was too hot, and she did not tont the skin as she pulled the strip off. Was very disappointed.. Then to see my results the next day was bad. As the days when on it just got worse. She had ripped my skin off, from my underarms! And burt the rest of my body. These pics are from 4 days after so it was healing but I decided that I should take pics of it so it won't happen to anyone else! To top it off they over charged me $10, I told them the prices were different on the menu. They just played stupid and said no.. So I payed and walked out. I will not be going back again read more

I've been going over a year to this place. I am extremely picky and they will fix any of their mistakes. I think if you keep going to any place a few times they get to know you and you become a regular so they're more willing to work with you. They now have a frequent buyer card thing that gives you 10 bucks off after so many visits. I've had Kacey, Tim, and Jackie to my nails. I've had Tracy and Kathy do my toes. All are good. I like to get gel manicures and regular pedicures. I always seem to be disappointed when i go to the salon, so I tried this place because of the reviews. I'm so glad I did! Timmy did my gel nails and Nancy did my pedicure! I am so happy with the results! I usually can't stand how sloppy salons are when it comes to gels. Often times they don't clean up the cuticles enough, and then paint the gel sloppily onto the cuticle. That leads to about a day or two before I try to break the polish away from the cuticle, and the entire nail is ruined when the polish chunks away. Tim is the complete opposite. He paid attention to the cuticle, making sure the polish covered the nail but didn't run over! All that without any prompting from me! I'm super happy with the results! I will admit, since it's winter, I've neglected my feet a bit. Nancy spent a ton of time getting my feet back into beach shape! She did a lovely job with my toes. I got a great massage and am so happy with how detailed she was with the callus remover. Finally! I found a salon that does a good job! Can't wait to come back!!!! read more

I have been going to Final Touch for several years now. The salon is very nice and well priced, so I can get a manicure and pedicure on a regular basis. I always call ahead and ask for Casey, she is amazing with the gel manicures, as well as regular manicures. She is a perfectionist, and the product they use is great and lasts up to 3 weeks - when my nails grow out. They always offer cold drinks and a pillow for my lap! I also appreciate that they also have enough personnel to do my pedicure at the same time as my manicure so that I am in and out quickly. read more
