I bought a house with an older roof. The AC guy climbed up there and told me to have it looked it. Based on the many 5 star reviews, it was a no-brainer to contact Ovi. He came out the next day. He provided a full roof replacement and a maintenance quote. Contract language was professional and complete. We discussed energy saving materials. I decided to use the energy saver white gravel. Ovi provided the schedule and his crew stuck to it. The crew was polite, hardworking, and did an excellent job cleaning up after they finished. All of my concerns were promplty addressed and all exterior touch-ups were taken care of. I've actually never written a review on Yelp before, but had such a good experience with Ovi that I felt it was the least I could do... Having just bought our house a month previous, we were a bit surprised to see water marks on the ceiling in the master bath after the first rain. I called Final Touch, and Ovi was out at our place the following day. He quickly identified the source of the leak and actually took me up on the roof to show me what was causing it. Turns out it was a very minor problem, which could be fixed with $15 worth of material from Home Depot (which he gave me instructions on how to use and what to buy!). He said the fix was so simple that he would feel terrible taking our money, and instead gave me some tips on how to best apply the material once I had it. Needless to say, when the day comes that I need real roofing work done, Ovi and Final Touch Roofing will be my first phone call. A good yelp review is the least I can do! read more

I found Final Touch Roofing when they repaired our neighbors roof last year. luckily I saved their business card. They were our first appointment, so I wanted to check around and see how their price compared to three other companies. Well two of the three other companies showed up late and didn't even call to let me know that they were running late, and one was way overboard on the price. So I needed to choose between three companies. I choose Final Touch Roofing because the young man that came out not only measured our roof but took pictures with his phone and showed me why we were having the leak. But what I liked more was that he told us that we could re-felt and reuse the tiles that we have on our roof, and only replace the tiles that were bad or broken. No other roofing company told me that. That evening we got an email with a price and an explanation of the work. He gave us the price for replacing the tiles and a price for re-felting and using our existing tiles. We choose to re-felt and reuse. That was a huge savings! The work was completed within the six days that I was told it would be. The roofing crew was nice and neat and left the area nice and clean! The owner guy came at least once a day to our house making sure that we were happy and that all is going as scheduled. I has a good experience and would recommend them. read more

We used Final Touch Roofing for a roof replacement last month. Ovi was recommended to us by a friend of the family who had also used them. Pricing was very fair compared to other bids I had received. The bid was very no nonsense. He offered all the same products as other companies and we bidded out to 6 other companies (FYI - remodeling companies were much higher). The workers were friendly, polite, and cleaned up every day. The job ended up going quicker than anticipated. I needed some painting touch up on the trim after the old roof had been torn off and they took care of it with no problem. They also installed a couple solar fans for us as well. When we were trying to decide on a color, Ovi sent us some addresses in the area for us to go look at other roof jobs they had done to get an idea of color. Due to recent rains and leaky roof, I found Ovi on Yelp. Took a little while for me to find a time slot because he was so busy (Which is a good sign), but I told the nice lady on the phone that I was willing to wait for someone good. Ovi managed to come out just after Christmas and take a look and give me a quote on the spot. I liked how he gave me 2 options on whether to just patch the issue or fix the areas surrounding it. I opted for the area and the 2 year warranty that came with it, for peace of mind. It was fair since I can't expect them to know what kind of bad job was done previously and would still be an issue. I was lucky enough to have a slot for the first Friday of the New Year and Ovi came bright and early with his crew. (Angel and his guy) I went up with them and they explained exactly what they were going to do and how long it would take. 2 days were estimated. The crew finished in a day and 2 hours. I checked the final work and it looked great. They explained how the skylights had been incorrectly installed and not sealed. Also that the flat area in the middle had not been torched down and that the reason it was leaking was because the area had been laid on TOP of the shingles instead of the other way around. They showed me where they fixed two holes in the planking of the roof and replaced the drainage strip because the first one was too short. They cleaned up the area nicely and everything in the area. I was very pleased with the work done and how Ovi is always very communicative. He doesn't waste time on too much chat, but always gets back to you when you leave a message and was great with email responses for the invoice and receipt. Angel and his crew were polite and took the time to explain the work they did as well as point out any issues they found. I called Final Touch for a roofing estimate and Ovi promptly visited my home later that day, giving me an estimate on the spot. He checked the roof substrate n the attic and was very good above describing roofing options. That was in stark contrast to several other roofing firms, some of whom did not even return my initial calls. I hired the firm and Ovi's men completed their work in one day the next week. These guys did a wonderful job for my commercial property that was in VERY BAD shape. I had just purchased the 18k sq foot commercial property that was neglected by the prior owners and would leak very badly during any rain. Ovi replaced the ridge shingles of my 2-story house several years ago. I was really pleased with the quality of his ridge job. Several years later the rest of my old roof did not survive last winter's El Nino storms intact. So now I needed a completely new roof. After the usual requests for quotes I again turned to Ovi both for his reasonable price and with the expectation of quality work. I was not disappointed. This time the job was big enough for me to see his crew at work. They were professional and did great work including quality repairs to the roof where some moisture was known to seep down into the house below. There was also an unexpected bonus after the job was finished. Ovi told me that my new roof qualified for a Cool-Roof rebate from the LADWP (Department of Water and Power). I have sent in a rebate application to the LADWP and hope to hear from them within 6 months. With my new roof I feel optimistic that my house is now prepared for the next El Nino winter.
