Try this nail salon for the second time today and I was very pleased with the service and the quality that I received. I went in for a full set and also a pedicure. I was greeted nicely at the door and right away I was then seated and they started on my pedicure. I absolutely love the fact that I can have a glass of wine while enjoying my pedicure in a relaxed environment. It was pretty busy for Friday but what salon isn't right. My daughter and I came in for our Monday pedicure day, and this was our first visit to Finest Nails of Mont Belvieu. The atmosphere and chairs were nice, but the service, communication, and quality were extremely disappointing. We both received classic pedicures ($31 each). I requested two shellac colors, and my daughter requested one shellac color on the tip. We even wrote our color choices on paper, yet the technician repeatedly brought the wrong colors, said the correct ones "weren't in the store," and showed a clear lack of workmanship and care in the rushed, uneven application. We were charged ($19 each) for full shellac, and an additional $5 for a French‑style tip, even though we did not receive anything close to a French style. For tip‑only shellac, the charge should have been half of the full shellac price, not the full amount. The polish was applied with thick clumps on the nail bed, uneven lines, and sloppy tip work. After all the confusion, I ended up with one single color, yet was charged as if I received upgraded services. There was no communication about extra charges, and the technician became irritated each time he had to correct the color. The final result lacked basic quality and left us with immediate regret for trying a new place. This experience did not reflect the honesty, professionalism, or service standards we expect. While getting my nails done here for the first time the man doing my nails kept slapping my hand telling me to relax. Also, I like my nails short, this man refused to cut my nails short and acted like he couldn't do it. Also, VERY overpriced for be experience I received. Then it's time for me to take these nails off and my nails are extremely red. My little sister and I just got done with getting a classic pedicure ($29). We both had $29 gift cards so we got the cheapest one there. I knew the shellac would be extra, but every time i asked how much extra it would be, they never responded. When it was time for me to pay, that's when they told me it was $18 each for mine and my sister's shellac. I tipped $5 to the lady doing my sister's pedicure because she was nice to the both of us, but it was disappointing that my sister's nail tech talked to me more than my own. First time to visit this place and I had a mani, pedi, and bikini wax. The place was pretty busy but they have lots of chairs and employees so if you have to wait, it likely won't be for long. Pedicure was on point, perfect. French manicure isn't the best I have ever had, a little lumpy and uneven but not terrible. The woman who did the bikini wax was friendly and makes you feel comfortable which is an important quality for someone in this line of work. Compared to other wax's that I have had, this was one of the least painful. So, if waxing has been too painful for you in the past, you might give her a try. read more

I got a 40 minute hot orange spa pedicure and my daughter got the kids a pedicure but I signed in at 11:50 I didn't get in the chair until 12 and was done with my so-called 40 minutes for a pedicure at 12:25. It's usually very quick. I can be in and out in 45 min or less getting my nails dipped. 4stars bc it's also pricey but most are.

Went to Finest Nails with my daughter. We had come for a pedicure. As usual they show you their price list. We first said we'd like the one that was on sale for $39.00 plus $5.00 extra for hot wax. The woman proceeded to tell us that we could have an upgrade for the same price with more stuff including hot wax. Since we had gotten a less expensive up grade I decided to have my lower legs waxed for $45.00. We I went up to the front to pay, I told the cashier that I was getting cash for tips out of the ATM. We I came back I handed her my card and she ran it through. I walked just outside the door and glanced at my receipt. It was $200 plus. I went back inside and told the manager. He brought the price list and proceeded to tell me that the one that had the "extra " wasn't the price we were told. Then he calls the girl that helped us and she flat out lied about what she had told us about the prices, then walked off. We told the manager again that she quoted us the lower price. He told us he'd give us a discount next time we came in, then he walked off. No paper stating such discount. We won't be going back there again. read more
