This is my go to spot in El Cajon when the wife and I feel like take out. The spicy noodle is amazing, includes a great amount of meat, the beef is never dry and the seafood mix spicy 6 is my all time favorite. My wife always gets the chicken spicy 4 and it's perfect The yellow curry is great. Just the right amount of cream with the chicken and rice. I wish it came with slightly more rice but that's not a big deal. Last visit I tried the lemongrass chicken salad and enjoyed every bite. Cute hole in the wall place with reasonable prices and fresh food! The employees are super nice and very accommodating. They have a great lunch special that includes soup to start and a salad and wonton with your meal which is nice. This is my go to Thai for delivery. I love their coconut curry with shrimp. They always get my order right. My husband enjoys their fresh spring rolls with shrimp, I think they lack flavor. Their spiciness scale is a little off, medium is more like hot. read more

Excellent and authentic Thai foods. A little pricey for the El Cajon area. The restaurant is always too busy and take a lot longer for the foods to be ready than most places. If order for take out, be sure to add 15 to 20 minutes more to whatever time they tell you on the phone. read more

So first of all me and my sister ordered takeout from here only because our favorite Thai restaurant was closed. So we ordered a red curry, spring rolls with tofu, and a spicy noodle dish. The food wasn't bad but when we opened our takeout when we got home the tofu spring rolls had shrimp in them :( then my sister and I went about our days the next day and I noticed I felt extremely sick so I went home from work immediately, then i found out my sister had done the same. I've been here many times, and I've tried a fair amount of the menu. Everything tastes pretty good, but spice levels are never consistent. I order a "3" (medium) at most Thai places. Here, a "3" can be more like a "6" or a "1" depending on the day. I would rather have it less spicy and add more later rather than having a meal I'm practically sweating over. Otherwise, Finest Thai is a good lunch option, but I would order the spice level at least one number below what you think you want. read more

Found this spot on Uber Eats, I had the spicy noodle with chicken and yellow curry with chicken...seriously, I believe it's delicious food and better than some of the more expensive Thai restaurants I've been to. Turns out they deliver as well, and they deliver quickly, and the food is always hot. Also,the portions are literally too big, and are easily shared among friends and then some. Looking for a quick delivery after a long week my family and I found this place and decided to give it a try. WOW! I'm so glad we did. We always go for cheap pizza. (I'm not a pizza fan) It's nice to have options and this place is at the top of my go to list. Some of the best food I have had in a long time, the curry is absolutely delicious! The fried tofu was cooked perfectly, which is rare to fine most places it's either soggy, chewy, or tough. However this was perfect! The peanut sauce with it was great as a dip. You can really tell the dishes are made fresh. I had some of the pad Thai with mock duck as well. I have to say I was impressed. The mango rice is to die for. Eat here about once a week. The lunch special is a good deal and the selection is wide. Surprisingly good for the area.

This place is a go to for me, I love the pad Thai (I usually get a 7 level of spiciness which isn't too spicy for me but I regularly eat spicy food) and the servings are so big it usually feeds me for two meals. Their customer service is also super good which really puts them over the top. Having great food, good portions, and a friendly staff is what makes it my favorite place to eat at in El Cajon. Whether you've never tried Thai food or its your favorite food you should really try this place! read more

Really bummed that I didn't like the food. We had it delivered through the yelp ordering app thing. Highly recommend that service btw. Everything we ordered was correct, other than the can of Dr Pepper my husband ordered, what came was a root beer. But not a big deal at all. I eat Thai food all the time. Love chicken satay and fresh spring rolls! It's was a bummer that the chicken was gross. It was rubbery and tasted way different from other Thai places. My husband really liked his pad se ew with chicken, I tried some and wasn't a fan myself. It's really great that they deliver, especially since they're the only Thai place I know of that will in east county. We'll probably give it a try again in the future. There are so many wonderful Thai restaurants in SD that it is hard to choose a favorite. But this one is by far the WORST! All four dishes we ordered were mediocre at best. But the worst thing was the RECYCLED rice! We found traces of curry sauce on the bottom layer of the dry, lukewarm rice, and it wasn't ours! Disgusting! Service is slow, the atmosphere is drab, and the place is hot - - no air conditioning. Altogether a bad experience and a waste of money. read more

My favorite Thai restaurant in SD so far! This may be a bit premature since I have only tried this place once.... but it was so delicious! I ordered take out and the lady who helped me was so welcoming and sweet. Although this place wasn't as ornate or glitzy as Amarin Thai or Lotus Thai, it was very clean and humble. I am a new vegetarian and I have been craving a lot of tofu so I ordered tofu pad thai with a side of white rice (I am a rice enthusiast). I was in heaven... I couldn't have been happier. The portions were huge and I wish I went with someone so I could try a bunch of different dishes. Overall, good food and good service. I can't wait to come back to Finest Thai! read more
