For their cost, they just didn't do quality work. My gel manicure started chipping the next day. They painted over my cuticles...the gel was bumpy almost fluffy on my nail. I'd rather go elsewhere in town that charges the same price for better service and work. It was empty when I came in and now it makes sense as to why. Manicurist was very nice though. read more

With all of the other nail salon's in Folsom, Fingertips should be your last option. The typical shop I go to was packed, so I decided to give Fingertips another shot (I've been here several times) for a "quick" manicure. I waited 15 minutes to be seen, was told I could be out in 25 minutes to make my next appointment (skipped the massage), given cold water to soak my cuticles, had unevenly filed nails, the paint was sloppy and lumpy, AND I was late for my appointment. Everything about this place is mediocre -- polish selection, service, finished look, etc. The pictures uploaded on Yelp of the salon are a complete misconception.. The inside looks NOTHING like 'em. It would also be helpful to have a large list of services and prices displayed on a wall. Two stars for the salon's convenient location, but don't go here. You deserve more than mediocrity. read more

I was disappointed that I was pressured to use what cash I had in my wallet versus my full debit card I had. Furthermore was charged a fee to use it. I received a deluxe pedicure and new full set pink/white. The pedicure was ok, just as described in the order sheet but did not receive a leg massage like other places. Of course was up sold a toe single 5 dot flower for $5. Not worth it nor took $5 worth of time to complete. I am very dissatisfied with how my new set came out. The technician left me 4 times to tend to others just coming in. My entire right hand is 1/4" shorter in nail length than my left hand nails. Also the white tips are crooked on my right hand. It looks as those a different person worked on each hand. For $40 they should be even and straight. To top it off the technician cut my cuticle with the sander making it bleed without putting the green anti bacterial liquid to prevent infection. To make matters worse today I got a fill in them by my usual salon Jolie Nails and it was horrible. The powder this salon used on the back was only supposed to be used on the tips. It was stuck on my nails that removing them was lifting my real nails. It was bleeding, and layers were coming off. I apologized for them being so difficult to my regular technician. My nails are damaged so bad until they grow out. read more

This was my first time here and first time getting gel nail polish and I LOVE it! I went here like 2-3 weeks ago and my nails still look fresh! No chips in the paint and I can be as rough on my hands and feet without a worry. I found out it was the owners of the store that did my nails. The husband did my French tips and the wife gave me my pedicure. They were really nice. The husband has a stern look on his face but is actually a pretty funny guy. I was surprised to see some of the lower ratings on their yelp. Turns out they've only taken over the store from the previous owner a little less than a year ago. I had a very pleasant experience and am definitely going back. read more

I have been coming to his nail salon for 8 years now! Their Spa Pedicure has always been the best in town for the price...until recently. I love coming here on my day off. I really look forward to he relaxing massage that comes with the Spa Pedicure. Lately though, the amount of one they spend massaging my feet has been cut down dramatically. The massage is the very reason I pay more to get he Spa Pedicure. They are always really friendly with their customers but when there is a nail salon in every single shopping center you might want to truly give the customers what hey are paying for. read more

This is a great little place that I've passed for years, but since there's literally dozens of nail salons in Folsom, I just finally made it in. It was great! Went in to get a quick toenail color change while my sister was at dance practice. Even for something as simple as painting toenails I was impressed with how careful and precise she was! She cut and filed and then applied the color with such caution it was almost comical. Great service, quick and affordable, would definitely come again. I am mostly happy with the powder dip. The manicurist shaped my nails nicely, but left a bunch of hardened powder around my fingertips and a large bump that is going to drive me nuts until it's fixed. If not for that I'd have given a 3 star. My biggest issue is the dirty tools and used files and buffers. To save myself of an infection I probably should've walked out when I asked for clean tools and she told me they were clean. read more

Disappointed. Got a pedicure and now have one of my nails that was cut too short, I said ouch and they kept trimming it and had to say ouch again so it would stop. Now I can't wear a closed shoe. Also got a cut from the cuticle trimmer. Massage was great and very relaxing and was the only nice part of my experience. Had some of my skin painted instead of my nail and some of it chipped 2 hrs later. read more

This nail salon has recently undergone new management, and I must say their service is absolutely superb! I went in on a weekend afternoon and although they had a full house, I still managed to have my nails done in a timely manner. Their decor is very chic and trendy and the salon is organized and clean. I came here with fingernails all chewed up and was hoping to freshen my hands with a manicure for a wedding I was attending. The new owner is the sweetest woman! She greeted me with a warm smile and was very attentive as to what I wanted for my manicure. They have all their nail polishes displayed beautifully on their walls, and they had such an array of colors it was difficult for me to choose just one!! I ended up going with a gel manicure in a beautiful neutral mauve color that went perfectly with my dress. The manicure was definitely the best I've ever had! Unlike a lot of other places I've been to, there were no air bubbles in my nails or bare and unfinished sides, and they were painted immaculately! The gel also lasted for weeks without chipping or scratching, even with my terrible nail biting habits! I will definitely be coming back here for my next manicure, and maybe even a pedicure as those maroon leather massage chairs looked way too relaxing as well! This salon is well worth giving a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

I was very disappointed in my experience here! I went in to get a relaxing spa manicure which is supposed to be $17 but by the end I got wrangled into extras that cost me upwards of $30! The massage lasted literally 30 seconds and that's pretty much the whole reason I came. Very disappointed and will be bringing my business elsewhere. read more

Tom is the only one there who's any good and hes hard to get in with. I have tried the other ladies there several times and I am always disappointed, today I left with polish all over my toes and VERY uneven cut toe nails AGAIN, it looks horrible I might go back and have that lady fix them but after that I am done wasting my money there! Never go here!!! I had the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I arrived at 3:30 and they told me to come back at 4. I did and they made me wait a half an hour and helped people that walked in after me before me. When I spoke up they said they would help be but didn't even care that I had been waiting. When they started to do my nails (one nail was already broken going into this) the lady was very quick and kept cutting me with her tools on accident and didn't care that I was saying ow. She then cut and filed a nail too short so I asked her to redo it. At the end she then charged me for the nail she messed up on and said I had 2 broken nails to start when that is a complete lie. She charged me so much extra for a mistake she made and wouldn't let me leave until I paid it! I would never ever come back here ever again and recommend no one ever comes here because they are so manipulative and rude! read more
