The live band was awesome! Mr Boogie Woogie was playing with Hurricane Carla on sax and they were just fantastic. Service was great! As for Food, would stick to the fried items. We brought our Meetup group to Fini's last night consisting of over 24 people. We mostly came to listen to the band but to also dance eat and drink. The ambience is modern and clean, fairly cheerful. The staff is nice, friendly and possibly overworked. The food is fairly typical bar, food, but tasty and almost identical to the sister bars menu at the Landing. .. Very good food for a sports bar. Seaman's theme. Cauliflower rice was much better than I expected and the homemade sauces we very good. The chipotle shrimp bowl was a bit hot for my taste but the flavor was great. The bartender really went heavy with my drink -super strong .... Good thing I like it that way but not sure how to y are profitable with cocktails with more that 2 shots each. It's north-facing, and includes the parking lot and the dumpster, with a close-up of part of the Catalina ridge right behind that. The pub is at the end of an unremarkable strip shopping center. This is a great bar and grill to sit and have drinks and an appetizer, possibly a taco or two. The view is amazing, and there's an outdoor seating area that is quiet, nestled up to the Catalinas. We ordered some drinks and a salsa trio. Tomato, guacamole and pineapple salsa, so pretty! A very generous serving by the way! The corn chips were delicious and the server was excellent, always checking on us and very accommodating. My bestie is turning 50 in a few days, and I have known her for 30 years! My room mate and I met my bestie and her GF for lunch. Weird being out...after not going anywhere for 5 months. The food was good, the company was GREAT, and I am SO BLESSED to share this BD with some one who means the world to me. The views here are stunning, and despite being out of a few things...Mark (the server) was on point. We all ordered the Ensalada Picada for lunch that is a blackened shrimp salad with avocado and a green goddess dressing. I asked for their spicier vinaigrette on the side. I like what they are trying to do at Fini's but it just didn't hit me as a place that I would put at the top of my list when thinking of spots to grab good on the weekend with my family. I could see how going for happy hour might be enticing, but I don't drink anymore. Unfortunately, you can tell that there hasn't been a cleaning party with the staff in a long time. The lighting by the booth and the walls had cobwebs, and there was food on the floor. We even found someone's credit card on the floor to give to the server. The food wasn't bad, it just didn't blow me away. I feel like successful restaurants nowadays should want to stand out and be different. It felt like all of the food was just bought from Sysco or U.S. Food and prepared and served. I can get that anywhere. Our service was good, and the other patrons seemed to be smiling and enjoying themselves, so there is something to be said about that. Came here for taco Tuesday(1.50 off tacos). I got the shrimp, steak & birria tacos. Everything was delicious. They all came with sliced avocados on top & a sliced lime to squeeze. The house hot sauce called Chubasco is absolutely delicious as well. The green one is my absolute favorite , I can never get enough. Fini's Landing is a nautical-themed sports bar that hosts a variety of musical acts on weekend nights. The vibe is casual, and it feels like many of the customers are regulars. The food is good, but not something we would go out of our way for. We have been here twice, both times for the band. On our first trip, I ordered a quesadilla minus the meat, and my partner ordered the pork belly tacos. The quesadilla was large with good flavor; I needed my partner's help to finish it. My partner liked the flavor of the tacos, but decided he would choose flour instead of corn tortillas next time. On our most recent trip, we started with onion rings, which were nicely seasoned and not greasy. We had the veggie and La Paz tacos on flour tortillas. Again, well-seasoned and, according to my partner, better on the flour tortillas. We shared the tres leches cheesecake, which was lighter than we expected. Nice to not feel bloated after splurging on dessert. Both times, we sat at the banquette in the bar area so the performer's volume was just right. Service was solid with orders taken quickly, food and beverage delivered promptly, and periodic check-ins from the wait staff. We have gone to dinner often at Fini's Landing since we moved to Tucson 6 years ago. The food is usually good and service excellent. We were very disappointed recently though when the wine pour was significantly less than normal and less than most restaurants of this type. Given the bar atmosphere and charge for the wine, this was very noticeable. Also, they've not tagged on a fee for using your charge card of around 3%. Prices for what you get is high enough as it is, let alone tacking on this extra fee. We likely won't return. read more

I really loved Fini's Landing. I was in town for a conference and the restaurant at the hotel was just insanely priced, so I headed out to find somewhere not so ridiculous. I ended up at Fini's one night and came back the next because I liked it so much. Service was top-notch both nights. One really impressive thing that I don't see often was that all the serving staff worked together: when I had an empty plate on my table, some random person would just walk by and grab it. When my drink was ready at the bar, whoever saw the drink first would bring it to me. This was great. And both nights the wait staff was very attentive. I just have one rule when I'm at a restaurant: when my beer is low, someone should be offered me another one. This was done here both nights by different wait staff. Great job. The food was unique, and that's what I was going for. It was southwestern fare, and it was good. They had lots of different options and I didn't even know what I was getting: and it was good! They have a variety and I really wish I was in town a few more days to try out additional options. And if you've saved room for dessert, that key lime pie was absolutely excellent! We both ordered the cauliflower rice bowls - the shrimp and the veggie (though I added shrimp). The serving size was generous and the flavor was good (maybe a dash of salt?). It's nice to have a comfortable, laid back restaurant/bar in the foothills where you can sit on the patio and enjoy the evening while nestled up against the Catalinas. Came here after a charity event at Skyline Country Club Saturday night to unwind with a couple of friends. Fini's has a great beer selection and very reasonable prices in my opinion. We ordered a basic cheese quesadilla and the prickly pear wings. Both were tasty and plated nicely. I'd like to come back and try some of their tacos. I remember having one (can't remember exactly what it was. Hey! There was tequila involved...don't judge me) at last year's Tucson Taco Festival and it's time to try a few more. Had a great lunch here today. Definitely my favorite fish tacos in town, and my wife had the nachos, which were great. Also, a lot of work went into the nachos, as they had multiple layers of both chips and toppings. I also ordered a shrimp cocktail, which they forgot to bring out initially. When I inquired about the cocktail, the manager apologized and accidentally brought out some ceviche. I just assumed it was an unusual cocktail, and started into it, at which time the manager brought out the actual shrimp cocktail, apologizing profusely. Both the cocktail and the ceviche were fantastic, and the restaurant comped both based on the mistake. She was very personable, professional and apologetic; even though the problems were not of her doing.
