Breakfast is usually my go-to at places like this, but if I ended up back here, I'd probably skip the breakfast menu and try something else instead. And Leroys just.... isn't they do sandwiches and breakfast. And its not cheap. You can't get a hot, affordable dinner here...they have a very limited list of hot dinners.. I got a rueben and salad. It was fine. Had I not taken a picture of it I wouldn't even have remembered what I got. It was not memorable. My husband bot breakfast. I thought his over easy eggs looked a bit overcooked. But he said his pancakes were the best he had in a very long time. My biggest issue is cleanliness. The places is a massive and I mean MASSIVE HOSEDOWN. Same reason I won't eat at Kava's anymore. Dust and grease are not a good combo. Mixed bag here i think. The locals support it because it's a real mom and pops where they congregate. But it does leave a lot to be desired. If you're not from here, I'm not sure that I can say its worth a visit unless they bring back their 24 hour service that made them unique.

The menu does point out with a GF next to the menu items that are definitely gluten-free. But it never hurts the ask your server if the chef would make exceptions or adjustments to other dishes. I wanted the "Roasted Oysters" $23 but it did not have a "GF" next to it like the fresh oysters did and Matt went to go check to make sure & see if anything could be done. He found out that it could not be adjusted for gluten-free allergies as they use Panko crumbs in the recipe. Boo! Anyway, Matt then suggested the "Steamed Clams & Mussels" for $18 and that was a very good suggestion. They were very tasty & a little spicy. So if you don't like spice, this isn't the dish for you. He ordered the "Special Ribeye Steak" from the "tonight's specials" menu at $59 for a 14 ounce cut topped with chimichurri; served with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. The steak was cooked too perfection at medium and very tender, juicy and flavorful. My husband felt that he didn't have enough mashed potatoes because he finished that and the fresh vegetables which were carrots, broccoli and cauliflower steamed well before he made it through his steak. I had the 1/2 Rack Center Cut Lamb (GF) grilled and topped with cherry-garlic sauce & served with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes with skin in and fresh steamed vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots for $36. My lamb was also cooked to perfection of medium and was very juicy, flavorful and tender. Our server was on point with everything as usual! I received the crème brûlée for my birthday dish, and my husband got the carrot cake with I believe a side of whipped cream. The crème brûlée was very good and tasty. The bowl sat on a plate of chocolate and raspberry sauce. I had to scrape that up to eat it with my crème brûlée, which was a little different as you don't get much. It would've been better how they put it maybe in a dish of its own on the side so you can dip it in there or decorate the top of the crème brûlée it . Either way I finished it. It was good. My husband said the carrot cake was very moist and flavorful and he ate it all. The place wasn't very loud as we got there at the beginning of dinner when they opened. so there was a walk-in group of about 15 people and another couple there with us at the beginning. So the atmosphere was pretty quiet started getting louder before we left at about 6 PM. The damage was to the tune of $153. Not bad for what we got. We both left very full, satisfied and we will return. Shout out to Matt K. For doing what he does best when it comes to good customer service. Did spots and crumbs in the corner of my booth that were missed clearly from the night cleanup crew as we were the first ones for the day in that booth. Peanut Farm is a sports grill that has been around for some time. The building has been through a few renovations with some additions to look like what it is today. It resembles a large log cabin. Peanut Farm is spacious and has several TV screens for sports viewing. There are also some pools tables near the bar. We grabbed a table that had a nice view of Campbell Creek through the window. Peanut Farm has a full menu that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was a page showcasing their appetizers and pizza selections. I got the Farm's Grilled Chicken with a cup of New England Clam Chowder. I was able to choose a couple of sides and had to try the corn fritters. I highly recommend them. We had a nice time here and it was a great way to wrap up my first trip to Alaska.
