This particular branch is okay. The drinks are good and our server is nice and attentive. We ordered buffalo cauliflower but quite frankly disappointing. None of the cauliflower was intact. They were practically shredded and if you take a look at the photo, the burnt piece on the top right, is just burnt breading. The porter ranch location has the better cauliflower, despite the long waits. Quite frankly this is a kitchen issue, whoever checks the food, is clearly not checking. Who serves food to people with whatever is left in the fryer with the food the ordered and says its good? 3/5 because the staff and vibe here are good but the kitchen needs to re-established or be reviewed about their sloppy work. read more

Was not a big fan. First of all, FREEZING INSIDE. If I did not have a heavy jacket, I would have walked out. Waitress and ambiance nice. Another complaint...appetizer and main food served together. Don't get that, Another complaint, BISON burger for $16.00 comes NAKED. Almost just a bun and a patty on the plate. Bison meat tasted good, but suggest you try Eureka Burgers to enjoy a good Bison burger. Chicken wings and deviled eggs were just ok. Did not take leftovers home so that tells a story. Not bad, I guess if you just want beer and tv, but would not come here just for food. read more

Went here on a whim because we were craving some beers. We were seated right away in their outside patio (they gave us the option and we decided to be outside). Since it's holiday time, Burbank has the giant Christmas tree right next to Finney's and we had an awesome view of the tree from where we were seated. They also have heaters on the patio so it's not too bad to be out there during the evenings. The place seemed pretty big and they were able to accommodate both big and small parties. Despite it being on the main road, the noise level was pretty low. I saw a lot of mom dates happening, so there's also a lot of little kids around. They have some TV's outside so I imagine it must be a good place to also check out some games. Our server came right away to take our order and they were friendly and interactive. We barely made it on time for their happy hour and got discounted beers for our first round. After taking some time to look over their menu we decided to also try their chicken wings. I'm glad we decided to share the wings because they were HUGE! I don't know if this is their regular size or we just got lucky this day, but they were well over double the size of the usual ones we get next door at buffalo wild wings. So that filled us up. I think we tried their yuzu flavor sauce for the wings and that was pleasantly sweet with a HINT of heat. I would definitely come back again to try their other sauce flavors and more happy hour beers. A good spot to reground after holiday shopping. The only downside is that service was slow. I don't think it was our server/s fault. I think they just had too many tables to cover and it was taking a while to come back around to us. But we did have to get up ourselves to find someone to assist us a few times. Other than that, it was a great time. read more

We ended up going twice over a 3 day weekend because the food is excellent, the beer is great, the ambiance is nice (indoor or outdoor with alot of TV's for sports), and the service was professional and attentive. We really enjoyed the steak taquitos and the burgers. It was within walking distance of lots of other retail places and parking. The prices are also great! Definitely will come back! read more

Not going to sugar coat it. This place is horrible!! From the service to the food. Always service issues. Since the day they opened it's been terrible. We went in tonight, put our name down and waited and waited. Tables would open up and they wouldn't page anyone. Every single person that had put their names down Sat except us. I had to go up and speak with them three times. We were finally called and sat. Asked for a table close to the fire and they said no because it Sat 4 and there were just two of us. 10min later they sat two people at the same table. Took forever to get our drink orders out. Another 20 min to get our food order. Their food is a 4 maybe 5. Lobster rolls were extremely fishy and no flavor. Then our waiters shift was ending. Came and suggested that we check out and pay before he leaves so he can get the tip. We had bunch of empty plates and glasses. He didn't even bother clearing all that before he walked away. Terrible. I've only been to Finney's for happy hour, so this review reflects that. I love their happy hour food, it has a decent menu for happy hour, and all the beers on their menu are discounted to $5 There's some yummy cocktails that are on special as well. I love the guava margarita...I had them make it spicy!! The only down side is that it's a very short happy hour, from 3-5 pm. I wish they would extend it to 6 pm at least. read more

Nice restaurant in a fantastic location (downtown Burbank). We came during Christmastime, so everything was decorated, especially the shopping center. Upon entering the door, the employees were welcoming and very hospitable. It was packed, but there was really no wait. Even though all the tables were occupied, they still managed to accommodate us indoors (since it was cold outside and we had our small kids). The food came out quick and tasted just perfect! I visited Finney's with my son on a cold rainy day in Burbank. The service was good, and the food was very good. I didnt know what to expect, but had been wanting to visit for a few months. This go round we had a grilled chicken club sandwich and I had the Waygu Burger. The grilled chicken sando was pretty good, and reminded me of the grilled chicken I occasionally make in the backyard grill. The Waygu Burger was juicy and flavorful, served with onion rings I asked for. To start I had a small tray of ahi tuna/poke tacos topped with crema. Overall, I thought I got a good meal for the price and would be happy to return soon. I really recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. My husband ordered the chicken club and I ordered the chicken poke bowl with a side of fried pickles, all of which we recommend. For my first time here, it was definitely a great time. Happy hour meant that I got to enjoy the Guava margarita, which was admittedly what I drank most of the time. Stay away from the raspberry smash, the one we were served was so watered down, it tasted like carbonated water with a hint of a sour something in the end. We had to send it back. The waitress was kind and attentive, and the food was very decent, having ordered nachos and a flatbread pizza (delicious). Friends who I haven't seen in a year and I were able to chat pleasantly and enjoy the environment. I was in the mood for a good Burger and fries, so I took a trip down to Burbank. Immediately I noticed they had an "A" grade from the health sanitation inspection. The bathroom was exceptionally clean as well which is ALWAYS a plus. All members of the wait staff were pleasantly friendly, gave me direct eye contact and provided exceptional breakdowns of the menu and provided me with popular items. The items that I ordered were the following: Bison Burger: Smoked Gouda, bacon jam, cherry peppers and mustard aïoli. The bacon jam took the burger to the next level, the cheese was a perfect choice to pair with this leaner red meat. I ordered a side of their truffle fries, seasoned to perfection. I loved the fact they were shoestring fries almost because the burger in itself would make you full. Grilled Steak Tacos: Two Tri-Tip steak tacos, meat was very tender paired with pepper jack cheese, perfect with the hint of spice, pickled onions lettuce pico de gallo, horseradish aïoli. It also came with chips. Buffalo Cauliflower: I love the fact the Buffalo sauce was not drenched all over the items but drizzled and paired with a variety of sauces to dip the bites into : Blue cheese, Yuzu and garlic aïoli. Bacon Deviled Eggs: Let me tell you. I have searched high and low for some good eggs and thus far this is the best I've had in a long time. Topped with candied bacon and Sriracha, they were a hit! Steak Taquitos: Tri-Tip steak, pico de gallo, cotija cheese, chipotle aioli! I loved these! The steak was tender and to pair with this authentic choice of cheese on top was amazing. Gary's Pepperoni Pizza: I opted not have no meat on it but the marinara , four cheese blend was delicious. Note: they donate a $1 to the make a wish foundation for every purchase I'd this particular pizza. Parking: Ample Parking on street and there is also a parking structure right around the corner. First time here! It was loud and packed, but there was plenty of seating available. Covered outdoor seating with spaced out tables, out of the sun if you prefer to eat outside. It was 95 outside but the shade really made the weather tolerable. The Dodgers game played on two large screens as people enjoyed their beers. The burgers were great! We had the black truffle burger and the Impossible burger. It was a very hot day, I would have preferred larger glasses for our cold drinks. They're dinky. Would not recommend the fries. They charge extra for sides, so I'd go for the tots, onion rings or the salad. The fries are a nope. Also had the bbq ranch chicken salad and it was great. Our server was attentive, a few other servers came and checked in as well to see how we were doing, which was lovely. Nit picking here; but the outdoor table was incredibly sticky. I'm not sure what was going on, I think the lacquer on it was melted or something, but our plates, skin and belongings were stuck to the table. Did appreciate the biodegradable straws and to go boxes! The prices are pretty decent. Overall, would return. read more

Came here on a Friday and it just so happened to be happy hour. It was full but there wasn't too long of a wait - about 10-15 minutes. It's a pretty chill environment with both indoor and outdoor seating. Great for people watching as it's located in downtown Burbank. I tried the watermelon smash - it was a bit bitter which I wasn't expecting. I would probably try a different drink next time. I also had the Buffalo cauliflower - the Buffalo sauce was okay but the garlic aioli with the cauliflower made it perfect! I would definitely get this again. My friends got the mini ahi poke tacos which they enjoyed as well as the carnitas nachos which tasted really good - it had what seemed to be a cilantro aioli/sauce on it. The vibe here is great even during the week, we enjoy sitting outside since it's finally nice summer weather. Been here twice now and both times we have ordered different appetizers and shared. Our favorite so far is the coconut shrimp and lobster rolls both have such great flavors. Mini sliders where also good perfect size portion and patty cooked to perfection. Crispy Brussel sprouts was bit to dry for me and on the salty side but the glaze on top gave it a nice flavor. Steak taquitos was also overly crispy a little hard to bit into and chew didn't get much of the steak taste and poke nachos had great topics on it just wished it had more sauce. Some workers at the bar have a tendency of not paying attention to people sitting down and won't approach anyone so long it makes people want to get up and leave. It's located in downtown Burbank, just north of the AMC theaters, it has plenty of seating and a nice outdoor area as well! I wasn't starving so I had the Mini Finney sliders which were pretty tasty and a good portion. My friend had the Asian Ahi salad and her order was slightly off. She asked that it be corrected and the waitress happily obliged! No attitude, no eye rolling, she just pleasantly said she'd take it back. I know I'm going on and on about the service but I wasn't kidding! The staff almost literally checked on us every five minutes or so and really left an amazing impression! Check this place out! I actually like this concept of ala carte sides. I'm generally not a fries person, so why should i pay for them?! Now you get a choice. But of course, the tots sounded amazing.. and they were! As was the burger. And my friend enjoyed her Caesar salad and cider. Actually the place was so good, we walked around downtown Burbank and decided to grab a few drinks for my friend before her train ride home. Bartender was nice and made a great lemon drop. Finney's is definitely the real MVP of Downtown Burbank. It got infinitely more of a legit hang out after they arrived. That said, it's also one of my favorite places to meet up with people, celebrate, or watch some sports ball. They have a great craft beer list, pretty much something for everyone. And the selections also rotate, which is rad. In terms of food, you can't go wrong with the apps. I love the buffalo cauliflower (although make sure you ask for no cheese if you're vegan or lactose intolerant), the mini poke tacos, and mini lobster rolls. All of their tacos are fabulous and they come with housemade chips. I'm also partial to their Moroccan salad, chicken wings, and crispy chicken sandwich. The only category I haven't really tried yet is their pizzas. Would love some options with vegan cheese! The service is usually pretty good, even when it's busy and the bartenders are also really chill. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants/drinking spots.
