    Daily happy hour

Wonderful first visit at the Ramp. Came here for their $2 taco Tuesday promotion. The tacos were Good and filled with meat. The chips came with beans and multiple salsas, which I enjoyed. The service was attentive and friendly, and the vibe was relaxed and pleasant. Happy hour is Monday-Friday 12-7pm and all day on weekends. Happy hour menu has plenty of drinks and food to choose from, starting at $6.

Thanks Yelp Friends, I finally made it to The Ramp! Hubs and I came in for a Halloween dinner after our party plans got sidelined - all dressed up and no where to show! Save for The Ramp, so away we goooo! Alexis was a FANTASTIC server! So knowledgable and allowed us plenty of time to enjoy some apps and drink specials, guided us through the menu and his suggestions and even took a pic of us and shared some local history! BRAVO! The HH specials are 2pm - 7pm EVERYDAY! The Lemon Drop was not only delicious, it was well poured! Only 2, 3 would've have me on the floor! Hubs went with a Mai Tai to start and said it was also good and plenty strong. After 1 he switched to coffee! We started with Potato Skins before moving onto our entrees. For me, Trout Almandine with fresh veg and the rice pilaf was a delightful treat. Hubs selected the Beef Ravioli in meat sauce and was very happy with his choice. We also went with the garlic cheese bread Alexis suggested and found it better than The Smokehouse! Prices were fair and the place was hopping with locals and regulars - most of which Alexis knew. This is definitely a friendly neighborhood spot that has been serving delicious meals since 1962. The owner still works the tables and is as busy and as friendly as he requires his staff to be. We look forward to returning and wish we hadn't taken so long to arrive. Cheers! "CC"

I dined in here before anticipating another good experience so I decided to comeback. Free valet parking & limited space but was able to get one. The hostess greeted us with a smile & was seated in 15 minutes. We've ordered pasta & fish, however my friend specifically mentioned food allergies but still found garlic on the vegetables. waiter apologized but no empathy when informed us that "I told the kitchen." It also took 45 minutes before our order was served. Moreover, ambience is noisy with the table of girls laughing so loud. I'll probably think further if I'm going back.

We were staying at an Airbnb nearby and decided to give The Ramp a try. They have a decent sized parking lot that was empty on a Saturday for dinner. The inside of the restaurant is quite dark, so we had trouble seeing the menu and our food throughout the night. Our party shared the zucchini fritti and garlic cheese bread. The garlic cheese bread was addicting, and we were full from this before our actual meals came! I shared the salmon salad and chicken parm. I was very impressed by the salmon because it was very moist! The chicken parm portion was huge and overall flavorful. We had more than enough leftovers for the next day. Food was excellent and I would definitely be back if in the area! Service could have been a little better. Some of us didn't have utensils at first, which took awhile to get, even after appetizers came out. Some of us also ran out of water during the meal.

Came here for happy hour with a large group. The waitstaff was super accommodating and friendly! Happy hour is only in the patio and bar area. Prices are very good. Lots of parking in their lot but it can get packed so come early. Great spot for watching the game on tv. Cosmo - Whoo! This was so delicious and STRONG but in a not gross way! They fill those martini glasses to the tippy top too so be careful! Don't be a klutz like me and spill 2 bucks all over yourself! Cheese Flatbread - Had that "cheap" pizza taste that you don't really mind and eat the whole thing anyways. A good size for 1 or 2 if you're sharing multiple apps. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area!

Wow! My first visit to The Ramp was amazing. We got seated immediately on the patio by the hostess and had excellent service from Alex. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and this was the best $7 Jalapeño Margarita I've had. I'm pretty sure the rim was salted with Lucas, not Tajín. The Chicken Picatta and Halibut were exceptional choices. Happy Hour is available Monday-Friday 2-7 PM and 4-7 PM on weekends.

I hidden gem ! Literally under a freeway ramp ! Our server , Alexis , was wonderful . He was very courteous , polite, and offered us great suggestions since it was our first time there. His drinks were great and the pasta , appetizers and desserts were all delicious. I was not expecting all of this from under the freeway ramp . We have since returned and it's been great every time .

First of all, I want to say that I am a true food connoisseur. In my family, my mother owned a famous restaurant in Guadalajara, so I know how to recognize a great restaurant. I 100% recommend The Ramp Bar and Grill in Burbank, California. My husband and I are very knowledgeable about authentic Italian and Mexican cuisine, and there is no other restaurant in all of Los Angeles and the surrounding areas that offers food as delicious as this place. The service is outstanding and provided by the owner, Mr. Jesus Licon, who was constantly checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Our waitress, Michelle, was also wonderful and provided excellent service. If you're looking for a family-friendly place with a pleasant atmosphere, amazing food, and top-quality service, this is the place to go. They also have delicious street tacos with out-of-this-world sauces. On Tuesdays, tacos are only $2.00 each--what more could you ask for? They are absolutely delicious! I 100% recommend The Ramp Bar and Grill, the best restaurant. therampburbank.com En primer lugar, quiero decir que soy una gran conocedora de la buena comida. Mi madre fue dueña de un famoso restaurante en Guadalajara, y puedo asegurarles que sé reconocer un buen lugar para comer. Recomiendo al 100% The Ramp Bar and Grill en Burbank, California. Recomiendo al 100% The Ramp Bar and Grill, el mejor restaurante. therampburbank.com

Every time we drive past this place we say we want to try it. Well today was the day. There are a few areas to dine in, when I made our reservation I chose the dining room, which is a cozy area in the back. We started with their cheese garlic bread which was yummy. I ordered the linguine pesto which has chicken, sun dried tomatoes, and artichoke in it. I must say it was delicious. My husband ordered their Saturday/Sunday Prime rib... let's just say he cleaned his plate. It was a good size cut of prime, baked potato and linguine. I am glad we finally decided to give them a try! Definitely be back!

The Ramp ramped up its charm when we dropped by 3 weeks ago. We started off by having Manhattans (2 @ $12 ea.) Then some yummy fried zucchini ($10) and a bowl of minestrone ($10) Everything tasted great. Portions were more than ample. My Charbroiled Cheeseburger was GREAT and so were the accompanying fries. Abbe's Chamberoni a la Checca (sauteed large shrimp in olive oil, garlic, shallots, sun-dried tomatoes, roma tomatoes, hot peppers, with marinara sauce, served over linguine) was equally flavorful. And the breaded zucchini was...you guessed it: Great. Likewise the service. Even the crowd was colorful and interesting to observe. We're so glad we circled back to try this quirky, cozy little joint again. I hate to be repetitive but we really had a GREAT time. And I usually don't give 5 stars. But this time it's a no brainer!

Didn't want run of the mill food so opted to try Broken Compass Tiki. When we walked in we were wondering what we were in for. After being taken into the restaurant we both fell in love. The place was so fun, the food was epic and service tremendous. Since our first visit literally 4 months ago, I have taken people 3 different times to this restaurant. I don't live any where near Burbank but in the last few months had the pleasure of being near there and telling friends we had to go! It's so fun to go with first timers. Great vegan options too for my friend who is Vegan and usually gets a salad and fries ha.

    - Broken Compass Tiki…read more My girlfriend and I absolutely loved Broken Compass Tiki. I originally found it on TikTok, followed up with a few YouTube videos, and knew I had to check it out the next time we were in Burbank. It completely lived up to the hype. Parking can be a little challenging since it's in Burbank, but we got lucky and found a street parking spot nearby. If you don't get as lucky, driving around the block or into the surrounding neighborhood should eventually turn something up. We arrived about 20 minutes after they opened, and there were already several people inside. By the time we left, the place was filling up quickly, so it's definitely a popular spot. I surprised my girlfriend by keeping the destination a secret and just telling her we were going somewhere fun with a unique theme. She loved it. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. Both the bartender and our server were incredibly welcoming. Our server asked whether it was our first visit and took the time to ask what kinds of drinks we normally enjoy before making recommendations. I really appreciated that he wasn't just trying to upsell us. Instead, he explained why he thought certain cocktails were better choices based on our preferences, and every recommendation ended up being spot on. As you'd expect from a tiki bar, the cocktail menu is heavily rum-focused, but there are also non-alcoholic drinks, a small beer selection, and wine available if rum isn't your thing. I ordered the Zombie Magic first, which was delicious and definitely packed a punch. After that, I tried the 100 Year Cigar, a Scotch-based cocktail that was perfect for slowly sipping. Both drinks were fantastic. My girlfriend ordered the Painkiller and the Navy Grog, and she loved both of them. We started with the Shut It Polly wings, crispy chicken wings tossed in a spicy Thai peanut sauce, and they were outstanding. We also ordered the Aloha Dippers with the Cajun seasoning. I paired mine with the Chipotle Citrus Aioli, while my girlfriend chose the Firecracker sauce. Both dipping sauces were excellent and complemented the fries really well. For our entrées, I ordered the Pub Burger with Irish cheddar, onion strings, and horseradish aioli, cooked to order. It was excellent. My girlfriend ordered the Shrimp & Lobster Roll, and we both enjoyed it. The only item that didn't quite meet our expectations was the macaroni salad that came with our meals. We've had some incredible macaroni salad at Hawaiian restaurants, and this one just didn't quite compare. It certainly wasn't bad, but it was the one part of the meal that didn't stand out. One thing that really impressed me was how accommodating the staff was regarding my raw fruit allergy. I explained what I could and couldn't safely eat or drink, and our server took it seriously. He made sure every cocktail recommendation was safe for me without sacrificing flavor or experience. That level of attention made me feel comfortable ordering drinks I otherwise might have avoided. The décor is also worth mentioning. The pirate-themed exterior transitions into a fun pirate-and-tiki atmosphere inside that really adds to the experience without feeling overdone. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. The drinks were strong and creative, the food was excellent, the service was some of the best we've had in a long time, and the atmosphere was a blast. There are still plenty of cocktails on the menu that I'd like to try, so we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Burbank.

They do have parking behind the building which seems to fill pretty quickly if they're busy, but it's easy to find parking around the neighborhood. I am not usually in the tavern scene so I was surprised that we had to order and pay at the bar, but it wasn't a big issue. My friend and I split the kale caesar salad and the macaroni and cheese. For the table, I ordered the waffle fries after being informed by the kind waitress that that was the better choice over the pretzel (which she also said was amazing). Since the place was filling up for the final, the kitchen was a bit slow, but we barely noticed with how attentive the staff were in getting us drinks and refills. When it came to food, we were pleasantly surprised with this place and is honestly the reason I'm writing this review. The first things we got were the Beef Tallow Waffle Fries, Caesar Salad, and mac and cheese. Obviously the fries were much better, however the salad was also divine but just swimming in dressing. Back to the fries, we all were mindblown with how tavern fries could be this good and had so many flavors. Even the skinny queens in our group kept snacking on them which tells you how good these were. Mac and cheese came and it was standard and creamy but not necessarily something I'd return for. The surprising thing on top of the fries that majority of us loved was the Vegan Tomato Scampi with shrimp. It was fire and had me questioning if it was even Vegan. Would definitely return here if I find my way back to SoCal from the Bay. Great unassuming place with great food and vibes. Their bathroom as well is super clean and nice! Love this place!
