I love Finney's in general. I thought we would come check out this location. The staff is very friendly and working hard. Ordered a medium burger. It was overcooked. Even the pepperoni on my son's pizza is burnt. The waiter told me that it's because it's the cup pepperoni. Which there's a way to cook it without burning it. He did offer to fix the burger. He even said that's not medium. But we were hungry. I said it's ok. I was already half way into it. The place is nice looking. Maybe I will give this location another chance. You can pretty much consider me a "regular" here. I'm here at least 3X a month. Today is Sunday and I was craving their blue seltzer. I always hang out at the bar area because it's the quickest way to get a seat fast for a small party. Everyone is so nice here, especially my favorite bartender Eddy. Today I went with the Grilled Chicken Club and switched out the Swiss cheese with pepper jack. The bread was super crisp and the sandwich was delicious. See you next week Finneys! read more

I have been to the Porter ranch finneys once and we really enjoyed our meals so I was excited we were getting one closer to home. Took advantage of being home early enough to partake in their happy hour I don't know if happy hour menu items are the same size or quality as regular menu items we ordered buffalo cauliflower, coconut shrimp, steak taquitos and chicken and waffles. We also ordered two salads which will be tomorrows lunch the salads look good will update on those tomorrow Some apps were definitely better than others . The dry on everything was kind of dark. Coconut shrimp were tasty and plentiful at 6. Used to having more tropical flavors and that is my preference. Good deal on the HH menu Steak taquitos would be a definite do not order. Regular menu describes Tri tip- maybe HH version is different because of the price point? They were filled with a pastey substance and I couldn't not tell you what it was. Order came with three- we each ate one and left the third Cauliflower had a light thinner batter which I appreciated and they were easy to eat smaller pieces. Would get again if I was in a fried cauliflower mood Chicken and waffles- large pieces of chicken - quarters off waffles . Waffles were deep fried as well as the chicken so it was fried on fried and just too much. After a long day at Six Flags, we were in need of a solid meal. Little did we know we were about to take our taste buds on a Rollercoaster of their own! This is a large crafthouse with huge tables, great for large parties or group dinners. The place was bustling for a Monday evening, but the staff were cool as Autumn breeze and we were quickly served and checked on multiple times throughout the meal. The food here is INCREDIBLE. Everything is made in house from scratch.. even down to their tater tors, herb ketchup, and Nashville hot ranch. Honestly, every thing was so fresh and beautifully crafted; I would've expected the costs to be so much higher for the quality of their food (but please don't raise your prices!!) We got a few dishes to split: Nashville Boneless Wings with Ranch & Blue Cheese. These were not the Tyson chicken strips tossed in a store-bought bottle of sauce. these were large chunks of chicken, hand breaded and perfectly fried then carefully tossed in their home made sauce.. with just enough heat that the dunking of creamy ranch was a perfect balance. We got the seared Ahi salad (ahi on the side) and this was a massive dish that was so refreshing and filling. The freshly cut vegetables and miso vinaigrette were so carefully balanced that each bite was fantastic. I don't eat fish but the Ahi was a very generous portion and my friends absolutely devoured it, so there were no complaints there! Finally we split the Tri Tip sandwich and added a large basket of tots. (dish comes with house fried potato chips) This was also a huge dish made with fresh ingredients. There was either a garlic or horseradish spread on the sandwich that I wish had a slightly more present taste, but overall, there was a generous potion of meat and the dish was amazing. One of out favorite items was actually the tater tots!! I make them at home from the same frozen bag that I'm sure 99% of you do, too.. so I forgot what a fresh tot could or should taste like!!! Actual potatoes, hand breaded, delicately fried... you can absolutely tell the difference, and now my normal tots have been spoiled. This place is also a craft house, meaning they have a large selection of house-made beers along with major names. We didn't try any of them this time - but we saw a lot of happy people in the bar!! Our server mentioned that the bar tenders press their own juice each day to be used in their cocktails, so I can only imagine how good they will taste. This felt like fine dining quality food with VERY reasonable prices. Honestly, one of the best meals I've had in a while. Finney's is the newest gastro pub to hit the SCV and we wanted to make sure we tried it to have a comparison or contrast with a dozen or so others that we have frequented over the past two years. It is a good addition to the Stevenson Ranch side of town. First of all, it is huge, new, bright, with astral-level ceilings and airy. There is plenty of parking all around it. The reception desk is staffed by cheerful people who take your name and give you the wait time -- 15 to 30 minutes in our case, late on a Sunday afternoon. The place was packed, even at this usually off hour. But, no sooner had we snagged a spot at the bar for an opening drink than our table was ready, just 12 minutes after we signed up. Great! The menu is good (part of a SoCal chain that knows the clientele). As a vegetarian, I had to study it carefully but there were things I could have and so I was able to choose two dishes that looked different and good (tomato bisque, grilled cheese, and avocado rolls with sauces). We also had cauliflower tacos and roasted Brussels sprouts, two of our favorites. The music was great, a real eclectic playlist that kept us tapping our feet. On the big screens everywhere were games that I am sure are very popular for a Sunday afternoon. Ryan, our server, was incredible. Very professional, sooooo friendly and upbeat, all smiles, and everything we ordered came out quickly and nicely plated/presented. While we were eating, several other people came to make sure we had everything we needed, so we felt very well cared for. The food was good. Looking around (see my pictures), the cross-section of SCV diners confirmed my conclusion that the menu choices and the quality reflect the tastes of a broad spectrum. I didn't expect Michelin level flavor or ingredients and I wasn't surprised that the food was tasty, on the mild side, and universally appealing in all likelihood. Clearly this is a meat-oriented clientele, so the fact that there were any meat-free choices, good ones, was a nice bonus. One cannot compare an all around family spot like this to any eatery outside this category. And the prices are very reasonable, too. If I had anything that I would change, it would be the noise level -- we could barely have a conversation. I might put some sort of covering on the gigantic windows. Facing them, I had to wear my sunglasses or suffer uncomfortable glare. I didn't see, wasn't offered, a dessert and coffee menu or if there was one, it wasn't obvious. I'm writing to express my disappointment with my recent dining experience. I attended a lunch party of 7, and while the rest of the table received and ate their meals, 2 of our meals did not arrive until about 15 minutes after everyone else had already been served and started eating. During that time, no one acknowledged the delay, checked in, or apologized, even though it was obvious the rest of the table was already finished or close to finished. When my salmon finally arrived, it was raw inside after the long wait. I informed the server, and she took it back. At that point, I was so hungry and frustrated that I even asked if I could just keep the salad and leave the fish, since I had already cut into it and didn't want to wait even longer. Instead, the same fish was brought back about 10 minutes later, clearly cut in half and now overcooked. When I asked what I assumed was the manager if this was the same fish I had sent back, he said no, even though it was obvious it was the same piece of fish. I ended up saying "it's fine, I'm so hungry, I'll just eat it" because I had already waited so long. What made the experience even more disappointing was that no one sincerely apologized, no effort was made to correct the situation properly, and nothing was comped despite the poor service, excessive wait, and receiving undercooked food. This was an extremely frustrating experience, especially during what was bbsupposed to be an enjoyable lunch outing. Finally made my way here with a coworker for lunch, after talking about it for years. Really fun, happening little spot. Service was great - our server was very attentive, albeit a bit flirty. I ordered the shrimp tacos and my colleague had a steak salad - both were delicious. We had some yummy beer to wash it down. All-in-all, I was super happy with the experience, and will definitely be back! Also, LOVE that you can pay from your table when you're ready to go. No need to wait on anyone to bring your check. Went for HH. Been trying to get in for a few days now but it's been so busy. Another challenge is that it Ends at 5pm M-F. My rating speaks for itself with a thick juicy burger, excellent delicious high calorie tots and just ok fries I'd say it was a success! It's hard to find a delicious thick juicy burger but I found one today! Had the right seasonings and cooked medium. Super tasty. Lettuce tomatoes and I think Mayo, i forgot. Lots of selections of beer and beverages. Those were HH prices also. I think total price was $65 for 2 burgers (came with fries), loaded tots, tax and tip. Excellent deal if you ask me for excellent service, excellent food, and excellent ambiance. I highly recommend Finney's. BTW ordered a flat bread pizza for $10. Was delicious if you eat it there. Finney's is one of my favorite spots. I love the Santa Barbara location and wanted to try this new location. They did not disappoint. It was Friday night so it was packed and super busy but we did not wait long to be seated. Our waiter was amazing and helpful. The food was amazing as well. We decided to just get the appetizers & snacks, which filed us up with just 3 different ones. My boyfriend really loved the Nashville sliders. I enjoyed the avocado egg rolls. Today was my first time at any Finneys and I was highly impressed especially with their customer service. The sweet red headed hostess asked if we preferred in or outside and were immediately seated. I had the grilled chicken sandwich added avocado, onion rings, sweet potato fries and brussel sprouts. Even their Root beer didn't get watered down by the ice. The food is pretty good here, but the layout is messy, and the acoustics of the place are deafening. I think the recipes sound a bit better than they taste though, which leads to a high bill. Service was courteous but forgetful. It's worth going once or twice to taste the extensive menu offerings,but only when it's not busy(Monday). Definitely don't go out of your way though since there is always a 45 min wait. Not good for a date if waiting is a problem. There is barely any waiting area, and no privacy anywhere in the restaurant. I DO recommend their red ale and stout though. It's new to scv so the wait times are longer then expected. I came here once before and it was two hours long (didn't wait) but this time it was one hour so we waited. No reservations here, so it's first come. I met my bestie here so when we finally got seated we ordered right away cause we were hungry. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive, super helpful. Our food and drinks came out quickly, in no time we were eating! I got the strawberry fields (with Tito's) there is a $2 changing fee of alcohol on the drinks.. didn't know this till I went to pay. It is a little on the sweet side. My friend liked the baby yoda shooter and the whiskey drink as well. Also the cauliflower tacos say they aren't gf but I've never had an issue with them. Oh what a treat 1st time here what a great happy hour menu that you can use at the tables. Great family friendly place so you can enjoy a meal or cocktail. I made a meal with their chicken quesadilla and steak taquitos which went well with their draft blonde with lime. The chicken quesadilla was very cheesy and chicken super moist with great flavor and the steak taquitos were made with flour tortillas so the shell light and flaky and the meat was also tender not dry. Driving through town yesterday and found Finney's. Oh my gosh!!! This place is great. The food is great! I had Peggy's Crispy Chicken which was awesome. Up here in the Santa Clarita Valley restaurants seem to be opening and closing every day...so when an upscale spot with great drinks and lots of options for vegetarians comes along, it's a big deal! Enter Finney's Crafthouse...a new location for an established chain with lots of style, options, and deliciousness...and our fingers are crossed that they'll be able to stick around! We arrived without a reservation on a Friday night so had to wait a little while for a table...but the wait wasn't too long and we were seated at a high top near the bar. (The bar, at least when we were there, didn't have open seating like some restaurant bars are...) It's okay, we were taken to our table, had a very friendly server (who rolled with all my ridiculous jokes) and made us feel welcome. I ordered the Smoke Show cocktail which was exactly that...brought to the table under a glass dome filled with smoke to a fun reveal as they lifted the dome and the smoke dissipated. It wasn't all a show either, the drink itself was tasty and I was quite happy by the time I got through it. Our kid had an Impossible Burger and Fries. Thanks Finney's for having this as an option for us vegetarians! That and the Impossible Taco Salad I had made us feel like first class dining citizens. Our kid also thought the Raspberry lemonade he had was one of the best things he's ever drank. I have been to almost all their locations and each one has little bit of a style difference but still the all around great vibe. They had a pre-opening event so I got to go to that on 4/19/24. So after seeing the good reviews, we thought we'd try this place out for a family meal night, and wow - What a mistake that decision was! In a town awash with average to mediocre chains, Finneys sets a new low bar. Not one of the four of us had a decent meal. The poke nacho appetizers were just... wierd. Really peculiar dressing that didn't taste good. Sadly it was the same with all four of the entrees we ordered; wierd textures, bland, tasteless, horrible. All basic stuff a decent restaurant shouldn't get wrong: chicken poke bowl, Flatbread, bbq chicken salad.. basic stuff. I ordered the habanero chicken wings and they came in a bright yellow Sauce that tasted nothing like mango, or habanero.... it was just hot and tasted of chemicals. I couldn't even eat it. It's rare for me to complain in a restuarant, but it was just disgusting and inedible. They did comp it, I'll give them that. So when the bill came, it was $99. We noticed they'd charged us for tabletop games, which we didn't play. We queried it, and it came back, INCREASED to $111! ( even with the refunded wings) we queried it again as none us understood why it went up, and then it came back at $117!!! We should have just paid it the first time and left. Then mananger was uninterested and Just told us the earlier amounts were 'probably a glitch.' Wow. We gave up, paid and left. It probably goes without saying, but none of us will ever set foot in finneys again. Really bad food, glitchy bills and uninterested management. Do yourselves a favor; there are lots of average chain restaurants in Santa clarita, you are better off choosing almost anywhere else, rather than here. Just a terrible waste of money. read more

Visited Finney's Crafthouse while back in my hometown. Since I ate already, went straight to the bar for drinks. They have a full bar menu along with speciality drink options and speciality beers options too. I decided on the espresso martini, most places it's either hit or miss, Finney's is definitely a hit. The espresso martini was super smooth and tasty. The bartenders were super attentive and could also recommend other delicious drinks options, of you don't know what you want to drink. Will come back definitely worth it! They do serve food, so will be back to try the food. read more

Super busy, hot summer Saturday, we were seated quickly and given menus and ice water almost immediately. Great menu, American fare (pizza. Sandwiches, salads and an incredible number of beers on tap). Very friendly employees and a great atmosphere. Ordered a burger and a pastrami Rueben, both of which were excellent. Our server Zoey was absolutely incredible, as friendly as she was efficient. Suggestive sold apps and dessert and filled my water as soon as it was 1/3rd full. The Manager even came around to check on us. Prices weren't out of line, great value. Zoey made a fan for life. Like all the other Finney's that I've been to, the ambiance and decor remains consistent with the cool rustic vibes! Food is always delicious and flavorful! This time we we got the chicken and waffles (8/10), coconut shrimp (9/10), buffalo wings (9/10), deviled eggs (9/10), truffle burger (9/10) and the Asian salad with ahi (5/10). This was our first time coming to the Stevenson Ranch location and the service was a bit disappointing. I didn't get our server's name but she seemed new and not attentive to our needs! We were a party of 8 this past Saturday night at 8pm and the restaurant wasn't overly busy bc we got seated right away. She got half of our party's drink order bc some of us weren't quite ready and still deciding what to drink. Their drinks come out but our server was no where for a good 10-15 min before she came around again to take the other half of our party's drink order and food order. Food came out in a timely manner with the appetizers first before the dinner which I like. Two of us ordered the Asian salad with Ahi and the rest of our table for the truffle burgers. My biggest complaint is that the salad was kinda bland and not enough dressing and we needed more dressing to actually enjoy it so again, our server was no where to be seen and didn't come around to check on us until maybe 20 min after all the food arrived, then we requested the extra dressing for our salad and again it took at least 15 min for it to come out of the kitchen! Everyone was already done eating their burgers but we had just began eating our salad bc we needed the extra dressing! Luckily it wasn't a hot dish otherwise it would've been cold and we would've been even more disappointed. Needless to say, I won't be ordering that salad again.
