    Rigatoncini Al Bolognese Classico
    Joey W.

Rigatoncini Al Bolognese Classico - the pasta was al dente but dry. The pasta dish was flavorful but it needed more sauce. I'm not sure if the transportation time made it dry. I would come back in person to try it again in person.

Celebrated my friend's 40th here and we didn't realize it was restaurant week! It was a great coincidence as they have a set menu for the night! I love what I had which included-- prosciutto and persimmons for appetizers, squid ink pasta with shrimp for my main and the Budino for dessert. All good but my favorite was the main! Spicy and tasty and the pasta is well made, the shrimps are large and meaty! We also ordered funghi pie in addition and some Arancinis! Service was great! My friends were a bit late but they were very flexible and did not let us feel like they were in a hurry to kick us out! Ambiance is vibrant and casual! I enjoy those chatters when we are in a restaurant that is so good and everyone seems to be just having a great conversation over a good meal! 4 stars because there was one time we asked some wait staff (not our server) the name of a food that was ordered by another table but she looked so busy and clueless at the same time and we never got a response. Other than that, we had a great time and will come back!

    OG Baby Lettuce

Awesome spot! I thought the vibes inside were cute and the wallpaper was super cool. We ended up getting the OG baby lettuce salad, the salsiccia pie and the radiatore alla vodka pasta. The salad was good. Nothing amazing but after reading that it was a creamy avocado dressing we expected the dressing to be heavy but to our surprise it was super light. It looks big but very good appetizer salad. The pizza was great. It packed a lot of flavor and the crust/undercarriage was perfectly crispy. One thing I will note is that it had a lot of oil which dripped out so be careful with your clothes. We got a side of their ranch which was super good. You could taste the dill in it and it wasn't super heavy either! The pasta was probably the best thing we got. It tasted more like a bolognese but super good. I'm not sure if it was ricotta but whatever came on the top made it even better. Wish we got more of it. Overall, the place was super cute and awesome atmosphere. Server was super attentive and friendly which was a bonus

This place was so good. We came for a group event and I thoroughly enjoyed everything - we had the salciccia pizza, margarita pizza, cacio e Pepe pasta, meatballs, risotto balls and salad with fennel. Everything was well made and pasta was perfectly cooked. Can't complain! Enjoy.

It was a busy night but we got our reserved table quickly. I was excited to try their summer salads. That, with wind and briny olives sounded great. The salads were yummy. Stone fruit with burrata and nuts hit the spot. The farro with asparagus and peas was perfect. My husband had the pepperoni pizza and I was surprised and delighted with how many pepperoni were on the pie. Lots. I was disappointed in the Cabernet I ordered. I told the waitress and to my delight, she took it off the bill. Very accommodating.

    Radiatore Alla Vodka Diavolo

You must get the radiators vodka pasta here!!! It is so flavorful and the best vodka pasta I've ever had. I'd recommend going to happy hour Mon, tues or thurs from 5-6pm to get it for $15. The pizza here is also good but I usually just get the vodka pasta.

Went for brunch with some friends. We tried the cacio e Pepe kale salad which was delicious! We also had the radiatore alla vodka diovolo- the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce was creamy and flavorful. We tried the salsiccia pie, it wasn't my favorite, the flavor of the calabrian chilis didn't taste like the Calabrian chilis that I'm used to. The service was great, they were attentive and warm! Espresso martini was also delicious and not too sweet!

    Seating - outdoor

Out door seating is nice - great ambience, safe, clean sidewalk, lots of foot traffic, plenty of heating for outdoor seats in the evenings. Service is ok. The waiters are polite, but the service is overall pretty slow, it's clear the the restaurant is under staffed. Tried to order the grilled octopus as a starter and they are out of it... it wasn't even 8:00pm, the restaurant seems very popular... Overall the food flavor is a 6.5-7/10, nothing regarding taste really stood out to us. The crab they use for pasta tasted fresh. One redeeming quality for a Italian restaurant is they cooked the pasta perfectly to Al-dente, which surprisingly, a lot of Italian restaurants in SF seem to mess up easily. This alone is the reason why I bumped the restaurant from 3 stars to 4 stars.

I am a regular for Neighborhood Appreciation Night (NAN) which occurs on the last Monday of every month. The $10 pizzas and $10 pastas is such an amazing deal! My go to is the vodka pasta and pepperoni pizza. So sad they announced today the official end of NAN- but I will definitely be trying out the Happy Hour menu sometime soon!

Fantastic food, great service. We started with the Crostino "Alla Norma." It was absolutely amazing. A tomato fell off and I tried it before I tried the whole dish and it tasted like some of the best pasta sauce I've ever had. The entire dish was perfect. I would do this dish a disservice if I tried to describe it, but it was so good. I saw the pizzas and they looked and smelled delicious but they looked a little on the smaller side and I had just gotten to San Francisco and I was starting. I would have eaten the whole thing and been satisfied but there were two of us and the other one didn't want to let me eat a whole pizza, so we got pasta. I'm sure the pizza was amazing but the pasta was the right choice. I had the Rigatoncini al Bolognese. The pasta was the perfect al dente and the sauce was delicious. She had the Chittara Alla Cacio, and I didn't try it because it was billed as very fishy (not my thing) but she said it was perfect.

Such an amazing surprise on my evening walk. Fiorella has amazing food. I had their gluten free cacio pepe and it was by far the best gluten free pasta I have ever had. Definitely will be coming back for more. It has a very relaxed appeal. A little classy with cool seating. I got sat in a booth by the window....immaculate people watching. Our server was lovely and had great energy. Definitely elevated the whole experience.

    Margherita Pie Summer Squash Pie
    Linda Y.

Really pleasantly surprised by this place! This is the only Fiorella location I've been to, and happened to be looking for a vegetarian-friendly place in Russian Hill with a group of 6 friends. This ended up being a hit. We got 3 pizza pies - a margharita pizza, summer squash pizza, and a salcissia pie. Each one had a nice crispy, smoky crust. The summer squash was really unique and fresh-tasting, margharita was nice and saucy and melt-in-mouth. Also got some corn arancini to split (really nice and creamy) and loved the peach and burrata salad. My favorite was the vodka pasta -- it was creamy without being overbearing. It was a warmer evening so we all sat outside on the sidewalk -- the service was also pretty fast. Would come back and try more dishes!

    Radiatore Alla Vodka Diavolo

Had to say I was quite impressed with the food here! Appetizers: - Arancini's are nice and crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, the sauce goes super well with it! - Whipped ricotta crostino was excellent! The ricotta was super light and airy while possessing a nice, rich flavor! The basil oil is a nice touch to wrap the dish together! Pasta: - Radiatore all vodka was great! The radiatore pasta shape (like a radiator) holds the delicious sauce extremely well, very pleased with this one! Pizza: puffy/airy crusts, thin, neopolitan-style - Carbonara pie was my standout, very unique and not overly heavy despite the rich ingredients. The runny egg yolk on top was delightful, guanciale is of course always delicious, goes very well with the pecorino. - Burrata pie was delicious, an upgrade to the margherita but very similar in taste overall...both very good - Salsiccia pie was super interesting. The house-made sausages are seasoned super well, taste really fresh. The Calabrian chili sauce adds the perfect acidity to cut through the richness of the sausage and cheese...very well put together dish! - funghi pie was pretty decent, wouldn't order again though knowing the other options on the menu Great spot, and not overly expensive for San Francisco! I feel confident that this spot will not disappoint! 9/10

Service was generally polite but a bit sparse given how busy it was. I specifically asked whether the kids' pizzas were small personal sizes or large enough to share, and was told they were personal-sized. Unfortunately, we ended up with more food than we could realistically finish and essentially paid for a pizza that went to waste, which was frustrating. The food itself didn't quite meet expectations based on the reviews. One of our pizzas also came out slightly undercooked, but the kids were too tired for us to send it back and wait for a remake, so we just made do. Overall, the experience was just okay, especially compared to other pizza spots we tried during our trip. After visiting places like Tony's, which we loved, this one fell short for us. The restaurant was busy and had a decent energy, and others may have a better experience depending on timing. For us, though, it's not a place we'd return to.

I am aware that I didn't pay for table service or dine in fees that most SF restaurants have now so I was trying to be out of sight and not make any mess for the staff to clean up. Some restaurants don't even let you sit outside to eat if you do pick up so I was just hoping they didn't come out and ask me to leave. Not only did nobody ask me to leave but 10 minutes into my sitting someone came over to offer me a glass of water. I declined because I do feel wrong accepting service when I didn't originally order that way or tip properly but I am very appreciative that they went out of the way to offer water! The grain bowl was also very delicious and filling! very generous portions for the price.
