Grabbed some dinner from this food truck during the Music in the Park event in downtown SJ this past Sunday. They don't do customizations for pizzas and didn't have everything in stock as listed on their menu. But the line to order and wait for our food to be ready were reasonable, and the pepperoni pizza was tasty, even if it didn't look like much. The crust had a nice wood-fire flavor that went well with the simple toppings and ingredients. Nothing too special about the pizza here, the crust was the only memorable part. And the 10-inch pie will cost you 18 bucks. I'm giving 3 stars based on value for what you get from this pizzeria.

Fire & Slice is a new food truck- Super good pizza's that come hot out of the oven in just a few minutes. The pizzas are delicious and the truck is owned by the same owner of Tempo Kitchen & Bar on Monterey Road in Gilroy.

The pizza barely had any sauce, as you cam see top left corner all dry cooked dough.

This was my first time trying their Pizza. I order the Margarita pizza. Guy on truck was a bot gruff with dirty nails, thank goodness he wore gloves. Cashier was friendly. Dough was tough.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This might be the worst "pizza" I ever had. $20 too. What a joke. You guys would be better off buying frozen pizza and microwaving it. Avoid at all cost. Pic of "meat pizza" lol

I normally do not give reviews but this place is awful. I paid $18 for a BURNT pizza. Obviously burnt yet rather than make another one, they gave us the burnt pizza. Shame on them! Bad business and I do not recommend this place.

Fire & Slice is a new food truck brought to you by Dan Nelson the owner of Tempo Kitchen & Bar on Monterey Road in downtown Gilroy. The food truck is unique in that it has an entire wood fired pizza oven inside it, so pizzas are made to order. The wife and I tried Fire & Slice for the first time over the weekend at the Sunnyvale Art and Wine Festival. We ordered pepperoni and meat lovers, and both were delicious. The crust is thin and crispy, and the toppings are fresh. They also have veggie, cheese, and margarita pizzas for non meat eaters. And they have a bbq chicken pizza. Looking forward to trying more pizzas at the next festival!

I got a pizza for $18 at Viva Calle. The staff were all wonderful and the wait was reasonable. I was excited to dig into my veggie pizza after riding all day. I opened the lid to my pizza box and was greeted with one the saddest veggie pizzas I had ever seen. The veggies were sparse as was the cheese. The sauce was way too much like tomato paste, but the crust was good. 1 star for the pizza, another star for the excellent workers. For $18 it did not feel like a good value

Fifth St gets blocked off between Monterey and Eiglberry. A large flatbed truck provides the stage for live music. People bring their own chairs and hang out to listen to the music. There were 9 food trucks on the night we went. Korean BBQ, Greek, tacos, frozen yogurt, cupcakes and more! Also Station 55 was grilling BBQ ribs outside and there were a couple of local stores with merchandise tables. The food was OUTSTANDING!!! I had a chicken curry burrito and caramelized pork belly fries from 3Brothers catering truck. We also had a BBQ tri-tip slider. The food was delicious, fresh and hot. The crowd was mellow, mostly families and couples with children. It starts at 5pm on Fridays. Things are in full swing around 6pm and it was packed by 8pm. Definitely something to check out in Gilroy, we will be back for sure.

They came very highly recommended, but I was nervous as this was our first time using them. Angela instantly put me at ease with her thoroughness and attention to detail. From start to finish she was super easy to communicate with both via phone and text . She took the time to ask questions and understand my vision for the party and worked with me to make it happen. She was even able to provide me with contacts for certain items I was looking for and couldn't find. She stopped by prior to the event for a walk through to see the location and ensure set up logistics and anything I hadn't thought about. Day of Angela and her Husband and the Califass Street Taquiza Team arrived early and quickly set up and transformed the catering area into a beautiful buffet. Her Staff was super friendly and professional. I received numerous compliments from my guests not only for the great tasting tacos, food, and aqua frescas but for how beautiful their set up was. I was actually able to sit down and enjoy my event confidently knowing that everything was taken care of. By the end of my event Angela felt more like a Family Member whom I've known for years. Looking forward to working with her again and I encourage anyone looking for a caterer or taquiza to hire her as she does it all in a one stop shop.

He let us know where we could find the menu up close, as opposed to the giant one listed above us. My partner and I decided to go with the Cowboy Pizza and the Pesto Pasta. BOTH OF THESE FOOD ITEMS WERE SPLENDED!! Compliments to the chef, seriously. We really wanted to pair our food with lemonade, but they did have any like they listed on the menu. We ended up going with two ciders from "2 TOWNS CIDERHOUSE." My cider was POG Cosmic Crisp but unfortunately it was a little flat and not as enjoyable. My partner got the Mango Cosmic Crisp and he enjoyed his better. I wish they had lemonade, or I wish I would've just stuck to a water cup or a different type of beverage. They have a lot of options for 21+ but they also have a Stubborn Soda Machine with 8 different flavors. There is plenty of seating indoors as well as outdoors! The inside is decorated with lights, plants, and a majority of the seats are a nice brown leather. Overall, it was wonderful.
