Sichuan Garden in Round Rock nearly shut down during pandemic. When they did come back they were takeout only for the longest time. This 16 year old restaurant ran by three aunties and uncles only recently reopened their dine in, and finally we returned last night. It's good to have them as an option for the North East of 35 option. I've been a handful of times now and learned that I prefer their stir fry dishes more than their Sichuan. In auntie fashion, she listened to what we were craving and recommended even a dish that was not on the menu. She also was curious if we spoke our native languages (we do) as she could recommend in Mandarin or Cantonese. We got Fried Beef Stir Fry, Double Cooked Pork with Leeks and A Choy. I tend to stay towards their stir fries as since they're older, they can't really craft their dumplings and pan fried baos fresh. They're not trendy or really have any presence on social media so thought I share again!

I didn't get a chance to order this time(family emergency); but when I called in to place an order during lunch the guy that answered the phone was extremely polite and helpful. He was apologetic when explaining that they were no longer doing "Lunch Specials" If I'm ever in the area again, I will def come back. I really want to try that spicy crispy chickennnnnnn.

Really enjoyed the food. I ordered the bbq pork buns and dragon wontons and pineapple chicken fried rice and it was delicious. I will be coming again next time we are in town. I would have post a full picture of the food but we ate it

Love the ratio of crispies to chicken. So much better than an airport buffet. William Montgomery sent me.

The jumping fish and green beans have always been my favorite, but this time, I tried the Dry Pot Lamb as well. It was so good! I usually don't enjoy the gamey taste of lamb, but somehow the meat tasted more like beef, but more tender! Service is always fast. Very minimal interaction besides ordering up front. But hey, you come here for a tastey and reasonably priced meal, not the service!

Located in the TARGET shopping center, they're spicy like DASHI, casual like AUSTIN - open for counter service 11-2 & 4:30-8:30 TU-SUN (closed MON) & delivered by UBER EATS + DOORDASH. More reasons to break out of the house: HIGHLY DECORATED & AWARDED by INFATUATION, EATER, AUSTIN AMERICAN STATESMAN & CHOWHOUND. Texans will love the heat on the CHONGQING MALA CHICKEN with LOTS of jalapeño & Sichuan pepper, but there's little dimension to the flavors beyond HOT, HOT, HOT! EGG ROLLS are satisfying with a traditional sweet & sour. VERY impressed with a BEEF BRISKET & RADISH SOUP - a rich yet delicate broth cradles simple ingredients, the radish absorbing hearty flavors but maintaining nourishing vegetal properties. I love the way they "KEEP AUSTIN SPICY" and am looking forward to some house specials upon return.

Wow! Either Bo Asian has stepped up their flavor profiles or the chef last night was on fire!…read more Everything was incredible last night. We got General Tso's Chicken, right amount of heat when we chose very spicy. Kung Pao Chicken at medium spice was still spicy enough to hit our taste buds. Char Siu Chinese BBQ Pork Fried Rice had the right kind of heat and was so good makes me not want to buy any other kind of fried rice. Mandarin Style Beef also had a hit of spice level that was yummy! We got chicken egg rolls and a free chicken low mein as well to round things out. By far the best experience I've had with Bo Asian. We picked up our order on the way home and it was ready in 10 minutes after placing the order online. Epic! A pic from my plate is attached.

When I asked about it the english challenged man went and got a woman from the back and when I said I was short one (they stacked both nametags on the bag) she barked "We packed them together" and stomped off. These were two separate orders mind you, Andrew R. and Andrew M. You'd think I set the place on fire the way she reacted. Also it was noon and there wasn't a soul in the place, bad sign.
