Stopped by Fire Crust this afternoon for lunch with my fellow pizza-loving coworkers, expecting it to be pretty similar to Pi Craft or Blaze (and trust, I love me some Pi Craft). Fire Crust, however, was a very pleasant surprise! It not only has made-to-order wood-fired pizza, but beers on tap and Pittsford Dairy hard ice cream and frozen custard! You can get a good pie at Pi Craft or Blaze, but Fire Crust is locally-owned and full of charm (plus alcohol and ice cream, duh). The pizza was affordably priced (similar to Pi Craft or Blaze) but noticeably larger than the pies you'll get at the chain fast-casual pizza joints. Casual and friendly atmosphere and the service was much more personable and attentive, as well. Back to the pizza: the crust was perfectly light and crispy, the sauce was flavorful, and the toppings were fresh. Couldn't ask for more, really! And ending my meal with coconut almond crunch ice cream from Pittsford Dairy was a total perk! I highly recommend this place for all pizza lovers! This place is special. read more

The food is good but the service sucks. Every time we've been there (4 times now), we stand around and watch people actively ignore us as if they are just waiting on other people to take care of us. The ice cream is delicious but again, to get served it seems as if you have to make eye contact with someone working and then ask them for help. read more

I hear good things about this place. I arrived at 9:40pm, I get this was kind of late and towards closing so I felt a bit bad. However, Fire Crust was already closed when I arrived. The kid mopping the floor told me they close at 9:30pm, but here and elsewhere it says they are open until 10:00pm. I left without any pizza. RIP. I'll have to try again another day. read more

This is my second time here. In terms of food, they have pretty decent pizzas. I had the Paneer tikka pizza which was really amazing and this is very unique to Fire Crust. My problem with Fire Crust is the service here. Both the times I was here it was pretty bad. There is just so much cross contamination with the food. The person making my pizza used the same glove to put the toppings on my pizza. My friend got the chicken tikka pizza, the person making his pizza used the same glove to put the chicken on top of the pizza and then moved on to put the rest of the veggies with the same glove!!!!!! This is unacceptable. This happened both the times and to every customer that was getting the pizza while I was there. A sincere request to the owner to look into this matter! read more

One of the best pizza places in Rochester. You can craft your own 6-slice pizza with any number of toppings for just under $10. They have a wide array of toppings to choose from (roasted garlic is delicious) including multiple different sauces and cheeses. All of their toppings are of much higher quality than most people have come to expect from a pizza place. Their pizza has a fairly thin crust, is wood-fired, and is absolutely delicious. Their wings fall off the bone as they're also cooked right alongside the pizza in the oven - mango habanero wings are probably the best. If that wasn't enough, they also serve beer and Pittsford dairy milkshakes, which are also very good. The staff is friendly, ordering online is easy, and they've never messed up my order before. High quality ingredients, wonderfully crispy pizza crust that isn't soggy and greasy, a beautiful new establishment and you can tell that the owner has done his homework too. This is a cut above the many chain pizza restaurants in the Henrietta area, and the local ice cream is a nice touch too. Fire Crust sets itself apart from the others. This place is great! Similar concept to other fast casual pizza chains in Henrietta, but this is NOT a franchise and is owned locally by a pair of cousins-and it definitely stands out among the rest. It's super cute inside, and the pizzas are bigger than at the chains, with unlimited options and toppings for right around $10. You can pick from predesigned combos with punny names or go down the line and customize it to your hearts content-and I would say that they are pretty generous with their toppings. A few minutes in the oven and you're all set with a hot, fresh, delicious pizza. I was full enough from lunch that I didn't need dinner! But the best part is, and what sets them apart, is all the local beer on tap AND the fact that they are the only other retailer to serve fresh scooped Pittsford Dairy ice cream in the area (besides the ACTUAL pittsford dairy). How awesome is that?! And on top of all the great food and drink offerings, the service and management were lovely. The owner is on the line making pizzas with the employees, actively keeping up with quality control standards, and even came out from the back to check on us while we were eating to make sure we were having a good experience. Overall, I would and will absolutely recommend this place to lots of people and I will gladly go a little bit out of my way to eat here over the chains you can find on the main strip in Henrietta. My girlfriend lives around the corner from this place and it makes me so happy. I absolutely love their pizza. VERY reasonably priced, as the pizzas are the same price regardless of how many toppings you get on them. My pizza is always done very quickly, and always tastes delicious. Blaze/Pie Craft have NOTHING on this joint! My girlfriend and I both love it there. We've probably been at least 5-6 times (including last night... delicious as always of course!) and plan on going much more. Keep up the good work fire crust!!! read more

My wife and I stopped in for the first time and dined in. It was super quick. Only about 10 minutes for personal pizzas. It was really delicious and I ate way more than I should have. The restaurant is really clean and the tables are really spaced out (probably because of COVID). We were also surprised to find that they serve Pittsford Dairy ice cream inside. I loved my customized pizza and was hooked at first bite. I loved that I could have my own nice sized pizza with my preferred toppings and my girlfriend could have hers. With that being said, my girlfriend wasn't too impressed with her order. I didn't order any meat. I got the max of 6 veggie toppings, and probably would have added more if given the chance. She didn't add too many toppings, as she can be a picky eater, and found it to be underwhelming. Also, her wings were very.... slimy? She prefers a hard fried texture skin, so that was a disappointment. If you're into more simple toppings, maybe this place won't stand out for you, but it sure did for me. I can't have gluten or dairy which makes it all but impossible to have pizza. The ones I have tried ranged from barely edible to ok. I ordered the gluten free cauliflower crust with dairy free cheese. It tasted almost like real pizza! It was delicious! On top of that extra toppings were free! With a name like this, and a great location for people south of the city, I had my hopes up for a real deal quality pie joint. I was disappointed by the generic selection of toppings that looked and tasted food-service grade. Nothing seemed fresh and this put the quality of the pizza alongside your typical chain/franchise fast casual joint. Missed opportunity to do a wood-fired pizza oven with some fresher ingredients. Something was missing from my crust and it was chewy and flat. At $11 for a pie they've got some close-priced competition in the area they fall short of. I guess you pay for the convenience of watching them put the toppings on your pie? Great design though, the place looks very nice and could be a cool place to hang out. But they do have Pittsford dairy ice cream which is a nice plus, I will probably go back for that! read more

Ate here tonight for the first time, with my husband and his mom. I usually prefer thick-crust pizza, but this was very good. We got 2 pizzas, pepperoni and veggie lover's, and my husband got wings. He said they were good, but not exceptional. Both pizzas were tasty. Lots of fresh-tasting veggies on mine (I don't eat meat). Friendly staff, we were greeted and asked if it was our first visit. We were very pleased with our recent trip to Fire Crust pizza. We brought in our son and his wife this time to enjoy the fresh toppings and the made to order pizza. They enjoyed it and will make it a regular pizza stop. We were greeted by one of the owners who were there to make sure that we satisfied with our meal. Third visit: This is a 3rd review of Fire Crust Pizza and while my opinion regarding the pizza has not changed, this review is specifically related to the Chicken Wings. First I must say I love my chicken wings and have tried them in quite few restaurants in the area. Like pizza, everyone's taste is different and quite frankly the wings at Fire Crust are not to my liking. First off, these wings are tiny. Distributors like Palmers carry two size of wings, dinner and happy hour, with the later being on the small size. The wings here are definitely of the happy hour type. While I'm not sure if they fully baked in the oven or pre-baked before they go into the oven, they do come out of the same oven the pizza is baked in; so maybe they have to be small in order to bake relatively quickly. Once out of the oven they are coated in your choice of sauce. While I must admit the wings were cooked all the way through they were a bit too saucy and really not to my liking. So while I will return for pizza, I won't be ordering the wings. read more
