Driving to Nashville from PA and stumbled upon this pizza place. We ordered the paneer tikka masala pizza and it was phenomenal. Service was fast. The pizza hits the spot. Give them a try, deliciousness all around. We will stop by again if we are in the area.

I love when I find new places to try near the hotel I am staying at. Didn't know what to expect when I walked in, but I am very pleased with what was suggested! Restaurant is set up similar to subway or chipotle, order your pizza at the counter and it is made fresh in front of you and slid into the oven. They had several traditional offerings for a pizza place, bbq chicken, meat lovers, etc, but then a specialty menu of Indian inspired pizzas caught my eye. The employee suggested the chicken tikka masala pizza. And I got it. It was amazing! Flavors were powerful and blended well with the base pizza. If I have time during my short stay, I will be back!

The crust cooked in the oven is a nice touch. The cheese was a bit rubbery and not creamy. Being able to add toppings at no extra charge was very nice and the pizza was very good since I was able to add what I wanted without it costing a fortune. I got it for take out and it could have been hotter. The service was friendly but nothing exceptional.

I went in to get a Supreme Pizza, The staff talked me into getting the Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza & OMGGG. I am SOOOOOO GLAD I did! AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! On the drive home, I had already scarfed down 3 slices...just too impatient to wait it was THAT DAMN GOOD! 5

Not bad, but not up to par with the likes of Blaze, Pieology, or Mod for this style of build-to-order pizza. Mostly the issue is with the lack of variety and quality in the toppings. In terms of variety, the chain establishments I listed usually have some unusual options available, such as roasted broccoli, corn, and arugula, while Fire Oven mostly sticks to the basics. That's not a big deal, as my photo should make it clear there's more than enough on offer to adequately top a pizza. My bigger issue is with the topping quality. As one example, the chicken here is some sort of processed/pressed product, while the other places use actual diced chicken breast. As another example, I found the ham here a little salty. Again, though, it's not bad at all, but I'm a frequent consumer of this style of pizza, and I left here just a little disappointed.

I ordered mine crispy (Well Done). So that's why mine is a little darker. Just wanted to make that known.

Absolutely the best pizza around for a build your own place.... I went to Blaze pizza today and it was egghhhh!!! It was good but fire oven pizza is much better. The taste a flavor is a lot better and the size is bigger. I have zero complaints about Fire Oven.... Please try it you won't be disappointed!!!

We were passing through the area and gave this place a shot and I must say ... this place exceeded my expectations by far! The store was exceptionally clean! The ingredients looked and tasted fresh. And the pizzas were also much bigger than I had expected. For $7.95 you can add as many toppings as you want and customize your pie. We tried three different versions, one of which was plain cheese. Pizza number two was pepperoni, sausage, and olives. And last but not least, my favorite one, a beloved veggie pizza. The crust and dough is total perfection! It has a perfect crisp to it, and doesn't get soggy while waiting to be eaten like most pizza crusts do. We will definitely return here for more pizza seeing that we pass through frequently. This place is worth every penny, and I don't think you will be disappointed once you take a bite. We had three pizzas for four people and only needed two. Everyone left happy and full. I am enjoying the leftovers right now, for breakfast. I highly recommend this place!

Ordered an 11" pepperoni pizza, 1/2 salad w/ meat and a drink for almost $18, it was more than enough food for 1 person. The thin pizza crust was a little tough but it looked amazing, as did the salad even though I thought the salad would've been like sliced ham or something instead of chicken. Pretty standard overall, I would definitely come here again.

Great service, super fast, and very laid back. We ordered 3 pizzas from here to go and they were ready in about 15 minutes. If I was going to back I would get one of the Indian style pizzas. The smell of tikka masala was just fabulous and I'm so sad we didn't get to try it. The Hawaiian was my favorite of the pizzas we got. The pizzas were a good size for the price. I realize that fire brick oven cooks like it sound, but the pizza shouldn't be burnt and the crust was uneatable.This was the second time I have ate there, the first was delicious but it was over a year ago so. Waste of 14$ will not get another chance. read more

We were in and out very fast which was nice. I'll give it that. The are area looks sketchy. There is a casket store next door. Based on this alone my family really didn't want to go in. But we gave it a try since we didn't want to look around for another pizza place. The pizza was ok. The fire oven gave the crust a decent crust. But the sauce and toppings were mediocre at best. We have a plain cheese, which in my book is a true test of how good your pie is, and a supreme. Both were ok. We didn't take the left overs with us, which tells you what the wife and kids thought. The staff were nice and pizza came fast. They had some canned beer there and various bottled drinks to choose from. The seating area and set up in side reminded me of blaze pizza for what that's worth. As on of my kids put it, it was totally a mid experience. read more

New owners as of four months ago. I'm new to gluten free eating so we thought we would give it a try. I had the GF crust, my son had a regular pepperoni, my husband had the chicken tikka and we shared the sweet cinnamon pie. Everything was fantastic! One of the best GF crusts I've had so far, my picky eater who hates another brick oven chain loved his pie, and my husband raved about the chicken tikka. Owners came over to chat and ask for suggestions (where we noticed the posted hours here didn't match - they are open Sunday and Monday). We will definitely be back! read more

We love going to this place on lunch! They work very hard to get your pizza fresh! They cook it in a brick style oven! We have also ordered work lunches from here. Their website is easy to use and we just put the time we want the pizzas ready. They do a great job of having them ready to go and then it's a quick easy check out when you get there. Passing through and came across this restaurant. The 7 members in our group decided to all create their own pizza and all were very satisfied. We even got the 10 yr olds pizza for free...not sure if it was bc we ordered so many pizzas or bc it only had 1 topping but nonetheless it was a nice surprise. A complimentary sweet pizza was also added due to ordering 3+. Staff was friendly and the food was exceptional! Highly recommend! read more

Not sure what to say. We asked them to cook our pizza a little longer but they didn't and I understand why. The outside of the crust would've been burned but the center of the pizza was warm in some spots and uncooked in others. Nice people though and very helpful. read more

We've tried this place twice. Both times were very disappointing. Our pizza last night was burned. We also ordered the garlic cheese pie , which would have been called cheese sticks or cheese bread anyplace else. I really want to say something good about the food here but I can't. I can say it was ready on time, so that's a positive. read more

This place is #1 pizza place in Louisville. I stumbled on this place back in 2020 during Covid. The pizza is scrumptious and fresh. The seasoning that they put down on the board and then lay down the pizza dough will light up your taste buds. The owners are very nice but don't talk much until you start up a conversation with them. This place should definitely open other restaurants throughout Louisville. It's a hidden gem, pls try this place you won't be disappointed! read more

Setup like a blaze pizza or a subway for pizza. They are really cheap but the taste isn't anything special. It isn't bad. It's just not great. Much cheaper than blaze but I'd give blaze the edge on taste. Medium sized place. Usually pretty clean and the few times I've been the workers have represented the company well. Worth a try if you like pizza and want a quick bite to eat for lunch or supper. read more

Totally Impress, it has fulfill my expectations above and beyond. Really local, super clean, service good even nothaving too many employees they were very diligent and quick. Needless to say, corporate never reached out despite my attempting to contact them through the website. Find a different place for happy hour and dinner. I went to the restaurant during happy hour on a Wednesday evening. It wasn't very busy and I took a seat at the bar. The bartender was very knowledgeable and took my drink and food order. It was about 5:30 pm. More people came in and were seated at the bar. They ordered food and drink. I ordered another beer at 5:50 when the person sitting next to me got their order of wings that had been put it 10 minutes after mine. It took me 10 minutes to get the attention of the bartender and inquire about my food. She informed me that the manager would be bringing my food right out. During this time, the completely intoxicated person sitting adjacent to me, offered to sell me weed, coke or fentanyl. Great restaurant atmosphere. At 6:20, I was finally able to get the bartender's attention. I asked her to close out my check, and have the manager see me. She had a puzzled look on her face, and then noticed I hadn't received my food order. The manager arrived shortly thereafter. I informed him of the communication lapses between the bartender and the kitchen, and the food order that never arrived. I asked him to close out my check. When he presented me with the check I had been charged for the two beers and the food. I informed him of the error and said I would not be paying for the food since I never received it. He looked shocked and then corrected the bill. After I signed the check, I informed him that he could have done a better job in this situation by comping me a beer or offering to make things right. He just stared at me. Customer service 0. Food quality 0. Happy hour prices 10.

Tucked away on Frankfort Avenue, it's a little off the beaten path, and parking can be an adventure. There's a small lot by the restaurant with overflow parking further down the hill. Somehow we managed to snag the only open space right outside the front door, which felt like winning a very specific Louisville lottery. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and the place was already buzzing. It was packed with locals, which is usually a good sign. While our table was being bussed, three different employees checked to make sure we were being helped. We let them know we were just a little early and waiting on our table, but it spoke volumes about the attentiveness of the staff. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a neighbourhood pizza spot: relaxed, lively, and unpretentious. The soundtrack quietly floating through the speakers was a crate-digger's delight, full of songs that have been sampled throughout hip-hop history. Hearing Lynn Collins' Think (About It) while waiting for dinner felt particularly apt following the recent passing of Rob Base. The song's iconic break became the foundation of It Takes Two, one of hip-hop's most recognisable records, and it was a nice reminder of how deeply great music connects generations. To start, we ordered the Olives & Togarashi, a bowl of Castelvetrano olives coated in a wonderfully aromatic blend of spices with notes of fennel, sesame and citrus. My son tried his first olive and was genuinely shocked by the flavour. He'll come around eventually. For the main event, we ordered three large pizzas: the DOP Margherita, the Funghi and the Original Sting. The DOP Margherita showcases imported buffalo mozzarella from Campania alongside basil and San Marzano tomatoes. The Funghi is loaded with an incredible blend of mushrooms, taleggio, pecorino cream and mozzarella. The Original Sting combines soppressata, fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and spicy local honey in a sweet-and-savoury combination that completely works. Now, let's talk about the crust. It is perfect. Pillowy and light, yet substantial enough to give you that satisfying chew. The wood-fired oven creates just the right amount of charred bubbling around the edges. Our server offered house-made ranch and other dipping sauces for the crust, but we politely declined. This pizza doesn't need any enhancers. The balance of flavours across all three pies was exceptional. I've eaten pizza all over the world, and Pizza Lupo belongs in that conversation. It really is that good. We had a plan: sample all three pizzas and leave just enough room to split the tiramisu. Thankfully, we stuck to it. The tiramisu was fresh, light and beautifully balanced. Not overly sweet, nicely moist, with just enough espresso flavour coming through. It was the perfect finish to an outstanding meal. The service was fast without feeling rushed, friendly without feeling scripted, and genuine throughout the evening. A wonderful kitchen wizard ventured out into the dining room to talk to us personally, and confirmed that all the traditional pizza doughs, pastas, and red sauces are vegan. He offered to create a custom pasta dish with a variety of vegetables (spaghetti pomarola with garlic, spinach, and mushrooms), and ensured that the breadsticks that accompany the pasta dish (traditionally made with garlic butter and cheese) were vegan, prepared in a separate location in the kitchen to ensure no dairy contamination. For those with other food allergies and intolerances they ensured every detail was correct, even noticing that a pizza that was inadvertently prepared with an offending food item, and remaking it before it was even finished baking. Pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quantity and the truly excellent service, which is what truly made the experience special. My pasta dish was tasty. Is it the best pasta I've ever had? No - but it wasn't trying to be. What Impellizzeri's does well is serve good food at reasonable prices, in a location and with people who have an eye for detail and a passion for excellent customer service. Well done.

We met Carli the first day she had finished training and was such a sweet person. She is very quick to go from our booth and back with our drinks and she always gives us just the right amount of time to decide what we want to order. She always takes such good care of us. We very often order the same thing each week, The Monday night Sirloins are our favorites and I always get the sweet potato casserole without Marshmallows and usually I order the Ceasar salad and share it with my husband. That leaves him a chance to order 2 sides. Most of the servers have memorized what we always order. We love Aspen Creek and are here almost every Monday. Sitting over on the right side of the restaurant is the quietest side to sit on. Over on the left side of the restaurant where the bar is, it is very often a bit loud but not so loud that you can't talk to your friends. Every staff person there is such a joy. Karly the Manager is about the best Manager I've ever met at any restaurant. Her staff loves her!
