So just keep that in mind when you wanna visit during high traffic hours. Parking was a little tricky too. We ordered the combo plate with brisket and pulled pork and they both were 10/10. Super moist, tender and absolutely delicious. I can't say it was fully worth the wait of 1-1.5 hours but it sure was tasty.

Food came relatively quickly, and the waitress was just attentive enough that we didn't really have to look around for her, but not over-bearing. I am not a big fan of bbq, so I got fried haddock. It was so delicious! My family, who are big fans of bbq, said it was some of the best barbecue that they've had in the area. It's a little bit pricey, but overall worth it. The deviled eggs were also really tasty, and the cornbread is a sweet bread. There was a good amount of food, but I was one of the only people in my party to have leftovers to take home. My only complaint is that the mac&cheese did not have macaroni, and instead was a shell pasta (which really upset my sister haha). There is street parking, but there is also a lot across the road that you have to pay for before 5pm

The place was neat and clean and our server Michelle was very nice, helpful and personable. Being new customers we were surprised that we were offered a sampler of eight of the sides as well as cornbread with a surprising cinnamon butter to spread on it. All were delicious and made our choice of two difficult. My wife chose a side salad and the Cajun corn. I got the mashed potatoes with gravy and the smoked baked beans. We waited maybe 20 minutes after the sampler and my wife's salad for our dinner, which seemed long but not terrible. The owner Bob had been coming around checking on tables. When our food came out, he also checked on us and apologized for the length of wait. He offered free desert, which we didn't think necessary but very much appreciated. We each got a 1/3 slab of ribs which were tender and delicious without saucing them. There were 3 sauce options at the table. Gold, original and sweet. All good but original was my favorite. I got the pulled pork and my wife the pulled chicken. We took our complimentary desserts to go as we had no room left. We choose the baklava cheesecake and peanut butter pie. Also both delicious. We highly recommend you give this place a try. It's easy to get to and should have been booked solid based on the atmosphere, service and food!

You order and pay, they hand you a buzzer. When the buzzer goes off you go to the kitchen window to pick up your food. The bar has just about everything you could ask for, including local wines and brews. I just went with a soft drink, my only complaint was they served Pepsi products which I am not particularly fond of, but at least they had Dew. You have to find your own table indoor and outdoor seating. But getting back to the food. Simply put, some of the best sausage and ribs I've ever had. The brisket was very tasty, but a bit more fatty than I'd like to see. Also, I did not see burnt ends on the menu, which is it my go to. The place is clean and the staff are quick to clean tables as soon as customers leave. Overall a very good experience with high quality food. Prices are reasonable to other BBQ places in the area. I definitely plan to go back next time in the area!

Food was good (not the best I have had in New York) Cons. I absolutely hated that I waited in line just to order for 30 mins. Then I found a table just to wait at least another 45 for my food. I have never waited this long for BBQ. You serve your self to get your drink and bbq sauce since they don't add any sauce or put any out on the table like most bbq places. This day they only had one sauce out. The honey mustard. Both the original and the hot bbq sauce were empty. I told the bartender and still nothing. This was a big disappointment to me. This place is a one and done for me. I don't feel I need to go back.

Could be all the wine in me talking (though I don't think so from the way everyone was chowing down), but this was some Grade A BBQ! Pulled pork was laced with sauce - sweet, sticky, not the least bit dry... the spare ribs were so tender, Smokey and flavorful and honestly not a whole lot of fat... and the brisket, well it melted in your mouth. Let me get to the details: Service: staffs were not attentive, friendly, nor helpful. The restaurant was busy when we came so we decided to seat outside. However, their outdoor tables were wobbly. Also, there were no bugs control devices nor heating lamps to accommodate us. When we asked to move inside, their response was we have to talk to the host and the hostess told us it is not possible because they were "too busy".... Yet we would see an empty table where they rather seat 2 people that come after us instead of us. On top of all that, our sever never came to refill our water. For service, this place is a zero star for me. Food: we ordered their famous heavy plate. The food size was loaded for the price, everything tastes fine but nothing was exceptional. Giving them some stars for the decent food. Atmosphere: inside has lots of booth style seatings and bar seatings. They can accomplish large parties. Outdoor seating is not great as their tables were cheap and they're seating on a slope. There were no heat lamps or bug controls so I don't recommend eating outside in the evening here. Overall: honestly, we felt ignored at this restaurant. I wouldn't come back here since they're not very accommodating or nice. Highly recommend management to train their staffs better.

So my only gripe but be warned I take my Que seriously is the smoked Mac and cheese lacked smoke but I'm hard to please when it comes to my bbq. I'll definitely be back to try my way around the menu.

Alongside the meats, we wanted to try their sides as well which consisted of mac and cheese, baked beans, corn bread, cole slaw and salt potatoes. For the brisket which we looked forward to the most, we found these to be drier than we would have liked. Paired with sauce, they were just okay. For the pulled pork, we found this to be phenomenal. Smoky and delicious all on its own. Definitely a highlight for us. For the bacon, we ordered 3 different kinds, and we found the flavors didn't really shine through. Although generously thick cut and cooked perfectly. The kielbasa was a bit of a letdown. We found these to be on the dry side, but the flavors were okay. For the sides, the mac and cheese we found the pasta to be a bit overcooked and overall, on the bland side. The baked beans tasted great, no complaints there. The corn bread wasn't anything special and neither were the salt potatoes. Although we did enjoy the salt potatoes and found they were exactly how they ought to be. The cole slaw was also on the bland side and tasted more of the fridge than any flavor. We've heard good things about their smoked wings which we had to try before leaving. We ordered a 5-piece with their spicy Asian sauce. The wings were delicious, the smokiness flavor penetrated throughout the entire wing, but the sauce was very salty which took away from the natural delicious taste of the smoked wings. Overall, a good experience which some seasoning issues but would revisit if we were back in the area.
