My husband and I go to see a movie once or twice a week and beforehand we always stop by Fire Taproom to grab some food & drinks. First, I have to say that we are usually in a rush. We almost always see Eli there and he is so kind & attentive. He remembers our drink orders, talks to us about the movies we've seen recently, and is just awesome overall. He answers any questions we have about the menu, gives us details on any Happy Hour changes, and is super quick to get our order out! We are usually in and out usually in about 30 minutes and I don't think we've had something there that we didn't enjoy! We'll see you soon! read more

We waited 2 years for this place to open, maybe a little longer? Love the idea, The Bank has something similar. But this is a lot close to my house. The staff was friendly and nice. Beer was great, 4oz was like $3-4 The food wasn't bad per say, but it wasn't good. My bf chicken quesadilla was salty. My veggie burger was dry. The owner of this place had a fantastic night spot in downtown Oakland years ago...so when I heard about Fire Taproom, I definitely wanted to try it. As soon as I drove up, I was not disappointed! Gorgeous space! Custom wood bar! Giant TV's for ALL sports enjoyment. Awesome staff!! Owner is a people person and will make you feel VIP!! The drinks were AMAZING! Self-pour beer taps! I really wanted to like this place. This was our second time, the first time was when they first opened and beers were limited. But dishonesty to your customers, especially as the owner will be the cause of failure. I ordered vodka ginger with ketel 1, the owner (bald guy) goes to the other side of the bar with all the well liquors so I found that questionable. I go to watch him match the drink from behind and he used the well vodka that was there. Another man brought me my drink and I asked if it was ketel 1, he went to ask the guy that made the drink he said Yes it was ketel 1. I told our waiter what happened and he took it off the check. The guy that helped us at the front, and was our waiter was very kind. If you choose to come here, pay very close attention to your drinks especially if you are paying more for certain liquors. read more

I love this place. When you first enter, you show them your i.d. and give them a card to keep on file in exchange for a magical card that allows you to pour as much beer as your heart desires. There are several beer, cider and wine options along the wall. Patrons start by grabbing a glass from below the taps, placing the magical white card in the slot and choosing the quantity. There are several options to choose from so you can taste quite a few before settling on a larger amount. They're a full bar, so shots and mixed drinks are also available. There are plenty of tvs throughout the taproom and they show pay-per-view events for a small cover charge. Our first time here, we watched the Nunez vs Peña fight. They also have a decent sized menu with your typical bar food. i.e. burgers, fries, sandwiches, wings, etc. One of my favorite things about this taproom is that it's right next to the movie theater inside of Delta Shores and we always go for a beer or two before our screening. read more

I came to Fire Taproom with my friend when they first opened. We ordered appetizers, bbq sauce chicken wings and tri-tip mini sliders. We also ordered bbq chicken pizza. The chicken wings and mini sliders were average. The bbq chicken pizza was actually good and cooked very well. The only downside to this place is the food is actually pretty expensive for what you get. My friend did try some of the beers and there is a good selection, however he kept only going back to the ones he already knew since you have to pay for them regardless. Went to this spot for the first time last night during happy hour. Had the whole place to ourselves for a while. Service was great, the waiter explained how the self serve worked. They had a lot of good options for drinks and prices were great for happy hour. The vibe is cool, great music and TV's. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is the food. My partner ordered a BBQ, I had a kale salad and we ordered loaded fries. The fries tasted like they were frozen, my salad could've been better, it was just ok. Overall, this is a cool place to hang out, watch some IFC fight and enjoy some good brew! read more

One of the worst places ive ever eaten at :( Their menu is pretty crappy since the just care about the beer. I waited 20 mins just to get my drink and almost 40 for my burger that came out with black charred spots on the bread and meat. They only have cheddar cheese no other options. My boyfriend ordered a salad and it was the a super tiny wilted salad. The music was as loud as it would be in a night club and you have to be loud just so you can have a conversation during dinner. You can really tell its the shitty management. There was only one server trying to serve the entire place and thats probably why the service sucked as well. read more

Decided to try this place out for the first time an hour ago. What an absolute disappointment. I asked the waitress how their Margherita Pizza was? She said "oh it's really good and it is one of our customers favorite. It's very popular " So, based on her enthusiastic response I ordered it. It was basically a breadstick with cheese that was sliced like a pizza. It was NOT Pizza and definitely was NOT a "pizza" dough that they serve, it frozen bread bread. I would've been better off going to 7-Eleven and got a pizza. That's how bad it was. A TacoBell employee could make a better pizza with a tortilla vs this place. No mozzarella, no basil. It was a frozen breadsticks with melted cheese and slices to damn tomatoes. It took a lot of me to not just walk out of the place. Support your Local Breweries instead, they have way better service and way better food than this embarrassment of a "Tap Room" NEVER AGAIN. This was my second time coming here and now I feel like I can comfortably leave a review based on both experiences. The first time I came was last summer on a Saturday afternoon and even though it was dead, the service was slow and it felt kind of depressing with how empty it was inside. They say they're the place to watch UFC and kings games but I went tonight for a kings game and the very few other people there didn't care at all about the UFC or NBA action on their TVs. I feel like their prices for the beer could be better. It's cheaper to just go to a craft brewery and have them pour a pint for you instead. The food was overpriced for what you get. My friend got a "jumbo" pretzel that was tiny and I got their calamari which was tough and had almost no flavor. I will admit they have quite a few TVs and a nice selection of 50 beers to pour yourself but I'm not coming back anytime soon. read more

Charge me extra for salt for my margaritas. 10$ cover charge for fight night which they do not advertise before fight night, had to find out night of that they charge 10$ a person even you are a patron or not. And they have a surcharge for credit card use. This establishment is an embarrassment... I am so embarrassed to even support such a greedy, below mediocre establishment. The worst service I have received in a while. Took my wife 30 mins to get her drink tonight. Both bartenders couldn't remember her order nor drink order. I ordered Chicken Philly Cheesesteak with no onions then got beef Cheesesteak with onions and peppers. Beer and food were alright but good god service was one of the worst overall experience in a long time. I'm a local and live in Elk Grove, I would not recommend this place nor ever go there again. My 13 yr old could provide better customer service than what we received tonight. I didn't even want to tip. Only reason I tipped 15% was because I had pressured with her standing in front of me. My review is based on the drinks & service not the the food. - Arriving at the bar was an interesting experience. You walk straight into the seating area with the bar behind them. On your right will be the self pour tap. It was busy this Wednesday night, of course meaning there was a wait for service. It wasn't great to begin with but their hospitality was plentiful. The drink I ordered was a house cocktail spritz. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to return again to see what else is in store. Aside from this I really enjoyed the bar. I loved how you can see the available spirits right in the center tower shelf. I hope this review helps and that your experience goes well. I try to go into bars open minded considering given events. We will definitely be returning back to this location! It was such a fun but yet relaxing visit all in one. Once we entered we agreed it as well as asked if it was our first time there. When we responded that it was our first time the young lady assisting us Made sure that she took the initiative to properly explain how their location works from start to finish. Everyone working here was very generous and laid-back but very well in the conversation if he sparked one with them. Our bartender was Donnie he was cool! He made us feel welcomed by ensuring that if we needed him for anything to reach out, no hesitation. we chose three items from the appetizer side of the menu we had the tri-tip sliders, they are loaded french fries and before the end of the night we had their calamari. The food was for sure tasty. The location was very clean including the restrooms. The vives were nice with the music that was playing. we arrived at this location about 6 PM specifically for the UFC fights that started at seven and we stayed the whole duration. They do have a cover charge of $10 for fight nights. they have what seem to be a three plan set up to where you can either just go for the beer tasting side of the business or just to dine or there's one that's for everything they tasting and eating. They do ask for a credit card to put on file to have your tab opened. But at the end you are more than welcome to pay cash if that is your choice. Well, I try not to place bad reviews and to give cudos to establishments and employees. However, my husband and I experienced a very bad time overall at this establishment on Valentine's Day! You could say, they really need Bar Rescue to come in. That's how bad it was! I couldn't give the overall experience in service, time or food, a star at all but this also requires at least one to post. They even turned the music on and up too loud, like we were at a club. We waited over an 1.15-1.5 for our sandwich and a pizza. We have 1.5 until our movie and missed the first 20-30 movies of it and it was just up the way. Everyone working there needs better communication, updates to customers and to be retrained in all aspects if working in a restaurant. Even the owner. We give second chances and frequent a lot of places but don't think we'll go back here. read more

You can reaaaally tell they are new. I'm glad we have a self pour place but they need a little bit of help training their staff. Everyone was super nice but they don't really know what is going on. During happy hour I ordered a pretzel, came back and said they were all out which was fine and not really her fault. So I asked for her recommendation which was the sliders. The sliders were pretty good but the fries were really oversalted and then charged me full price because I didn't specify it was happy hour food. I ordered a Moscow mule and she asked me what alcohol I wanted in it.... the Moscow mule was also quite watered down and pretty unpleasant to drink. My friend ordered a pilsner which tasted more like a stout because it was so dark and bitter. But there's also a cream beer that tasted really good and would recommend trying it again. I also ordered the calamari and loaded fries. The calamari was overcooked and really burnt. Everything was really salty, I don't like to waste food but this was pretty bad so after we finished the appetizers we ended up going to fire wings for the rest of my group. Unfortunate because they have a huge menu and it looks really good but I don't think I'll be returning for food anytime soon. But I do love that they're open until 2 AM and they have happy hour until 8 PM read more

Hot new spot in Delta shores. Cayman checked it out and this is a regular spot that we attend to now and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and the beer options are plentiful and there's lots of variety depending on what you like. And the fact that there's also a full bar helps in the event that you go with somebody that doesn't like beer. Everything that we've eaten there has been pretty tasty so far. And there are plenty of TVs. If you want to come in for a sporting event or to watch anything that's going on, there's plenty of music that's played as well.
