Had an absolute blast at Mojo's. Showed up before a King's game with a party of 3. The bartenders are super welcoming and insightful about all the beers and ciders on tap. The options here are endless. Something for everyone, even non alcoholic drinks as well. There is so much seating here. What I loved most was the outside seating. Come summer time this spot will be the place to be. Over a dozen TV's make this a great place to catch a game. It's in the center of downtown, close to the memorial auditorium. Close walking distance to everything in the area. Another great thing about Mojo's is their menu. It sets them apart. The food is bomb here. I particularly liked their onion rings. Super crispy and crunchy. The onion didn't pull with each bite. The burgers here are bomb as well. I'm a big fan of this place and they sponsor my favorite sports radio channel in town, ESPN 1320, which is what brought our party in. Shout out the Chatty House! This place is sheer genius. So many little things about it are just *chef's kiss* brilliant. Like the being open form 6 to 9 or later and serving everything from cookies to ice cream to coffee to beer. This place is clearly a center of community with a nice play area close-by for the kiddos. Beers on tap are great, if they don't have your regular branded beer, they sure have something better than what you usually drink. It's my first visit to MoJo's. It was the perfect place to grab a bite before attending a play a block away. It was great that it was within walking distance. The staff were all very nice. The place was pretty busy, so we had to find seats outside, after ordering at the bar. We sat at the only open table for the four of us, of which did not have a heater by our table. It was 49 degrees outside, and since there were plenty of outside heat lamps, one that had 3 lamps around one table, we asked if one could be moved closer to our table. Instead, the brought out an additional lamp to place by us. It felt so good to feel that heat, but my back side remained frozen The food took awhile to come out, but it was a busy night for them, and we still made it to the play in plenty of time. I ordered a hamburger and shared it with the group. The rest ordered the 3-street taco appetizer, garlic fries, and child's chicken strips. My friend and I were looking to find a spot to go out on new years day, not realizing that A LOT of businesses are actually closed for the holiday. I've passed by Mojo so many times, since I use L street to go home. We noticed they were open, and figured it were time to try them out! I love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as two separate indoor seating areas plus bar seating. You order at the counter, and have a ton of menus you can grab. I opted for the buffalo wings and a beer and my friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries. My wings were amazing! However my friends chicken sandwich was more breading then chicken. When she shared this info with staff, they were quick to respond with allowing her to choose something else to replace her meal. Overall the staff were very accommodating, its baby friendly and a TON of TVs on for sports. I definitely want to bring my husband next time! read more

Came here to watch the UConn/Michigan game last week. There was a pretty good-sized crowd for it. Food was awesome; surprisingly, the salsa in the salsa & chips app was the standout. It was phenomenal. Also had a pepperoni pizza, couple burgers and couple chicken sandwiches. Wait time was reasonable and food came out hot. There was a giant fan pointed at us the whole time which chilled things down quickly once the sun had set but overall was a great spot for the occasion. If I were to take a wild guess, I think that the building that houses this delightful restaurant was formerly an auto repair shop. The bar area is wide open to what is now seating. I loved the ambiance and how the building was reused. I like to sit outside and look at the historic buildings nearby. Of course, there has to be more than a cool location to bring us back more than once. I have tried different things each time. The street-style seared beef Tres Tacos with crispy potatoes and house guacamole was tasty and worth reordering. My mother would be shocked, that I like Brussels sprouts, but I do. The serving was generous; there was more than enough for me to take some home. On ou last visit I had Chef Antwyne Gumbo over. The menu said that it was medium heat. I might have become a hot food wuss; this dish was too hot, not spicy, that I only took a few bites and brought it home. I was able to tame the hot and enjoyed my leftovers, although, I would not order it again. I drank water but they have a good beer menu. K ordered the burgers and they did look good. They are always showing sports and you can count on the local game being on. I would like to try some of their weeknight events like tap takeover and trivia Tuesdays. I recently had the reuben sandwich which was one of the best reubens I've ever had. Everyone I go with who gets the other menu options is always impressed! The place is really cool, tons of Kings memorabilia and other sports stuff. They have some old seats from Arco which is cool too. Lots of beers on tap but I didn't get one since I was on my lunch break at work (and it wasn't a Friday) so I couldn't justify a beer. It's really big inside and they have a great patio, nice open air concept. The service was great, the guy taking my order was super nice and accommodating when I asked for a side of ranch. The onion rings were killer too and I'm a sucker for onion rings. However, the chicken sandwich was just so disappointing. It looked so good in some pictures from yelp, but when it came out, it looked completely different. Good bun, but that's where it ended. The chicken itself was wayyy too over cooked and practically burnt to a crisp. Biting into it, the chicken was even pretty tough. There was hardly any aioli (I had to ask for more) and did I mention how burnt the chicken was? I'm telling you, a chicken sandwich from Popeyes or chick fil a would have been better. I really wanted to like this place because it's so close to my office, but I just can't endorse such a bad chicken sandwich. We've been here multiple times when it was Capitol Hop Shop. With the name change came a few subtle differences-- we arrived today to find tablecloths and love plants decorating the tables. It was a nice touch, but seemed out if place with the continued self-service water, napkins, silverware and ordering at the counter. Then menu looked pretty much the same, but I was missing the poutine and corned beef rueben that had been my standard go to's. Instead we got the Valhalla burger, tacos, Mojo fries, and regular fries. The fries weren't great--tasted bland and the texture was dry. The burger was pretty good, but the patties were very thin and not particularly juicy. In retrospect, we weren't asked how we liked our burgers cooked; either they've now moved to frozen patties or forgot to ask. I suspect the former, though. Our company enjoyed the Mojo Fries. They had pulled pork and nacho cheese sauce. Not my jam, but our company liked them. They also reported that the tacos were good. They still have a nice variety of beers on tap and offer 5.5 oz pours so you can sample a few new ones if you wish. I do love that! On the whole, I'd say food quality has lessened, but isn't bad. Just not as good as before. Beerscape is still quite lovely and service was very friendly! We may be back if we happen to be in the area again. read more

Five star for customer service - the owner Scott stopped by our table and comped two of our parties meals for having to exchange and request new ones. Wait staff were attentive and checked on us from time to time, and cleared our table when they noticed plates were empty. Ordering style is order/pay at the register and take orders number for delivery at your table. Convenient and quite prompt for lunch. The tres tacos carnitas were good, however it's hard to justify $14.70 for six bites. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, and with the obvious price of everything going up, everything is going up. Tonites show at the music circus was "Million Dollar Quartet". We decided to try Mojo's for the first time. After Parking our car we had an hour to eat before heading to the event. We were greeted by a nice gentlemen (Michael) who told us to pick a seat and he brought us a menu. After placing our order at the bar we were given a number and the food was brought to our table. I came here for a Happy Hour event and we had a really fun time. They have beer on tap as well as Sangria and the beer options were great. They have Pliny on tap, which made for an easy decision, at least for our first pour. It was cold and delicious. The seating is casual and it's mostly open air. They have some parking, but it fills up quickly. Although, street parking isn't hard in the area (it does cost money though). They have a variety of bites on the menu as well. We tried some of their tacos, burgers, appetizers and some beignets for dessert. I thought the tacos were really tasty, and the ones we tried had a little bit of heat too. The staff was really friendly and attentive and the bartenders were fun to talk to as well. I've heard it's a popular spot, but we got lucky and stopped by when it wasn't terribly busy. They have an open atmosphere setup, like opening giant garage doors to outdoor seating with high tables and picnic tables, and a mechanics garage decor. Long bar with about 40+ beers on tap and some interior seating complete the scene. Service was great and friendly, and everyone was having a good time. Menu is short and manageable. They were VERY ACCOMMODATING to the needs of our special needs family and we are so grateful to have a place so inclusive we can come and feel welcomed. Roy greeted us very kindly and made it a point to check on us and make sure we were doing okay. Came across this place while walking around aimlessly in Sacramento to take in the downtown area. I made a big square from the Embassy Suites on the riverfront through the tunnel to DoCo, to the Capitol building, left there and walked a ways till we upon Mojo's Local. They have over 20 beers on tap from all over. I settled in for a beer flight -- I really dislike IPA, and most of what they had was either an IPA or sour-- so I landed on the few ales and stouts. Solid Ground Wiesn - 4.5/5 delicious wheat beer. Orange Ave. Wit 3/5 meh- not orang-y enough Chronic Amber Ale 2.5/5- forgettable New Glory Breakfast Hustle - a white stout- 5/5 oh holy moly deliciousness -- I've never heard of a white stout and didn't expect much- but it was delicious. You could taste the coffee and French toast notes and it was most definitely my favorite of the 4 that I tried. My friend tried 4 as well-- he prefers sours and IPAs so I didn't try any-- although the one Japanese Rice Lager - called Original Pattern Yamagata was quite delicious - it was sake-like but lager-y. I couldn't have had a pint of that, but the few sips I had were yummy. We ordered a plate of crispy Brussels Sprouts which came with a chipotle dipping sauce that was delicious enough for me to lick the container it came in clean. This establishment changed ownership two years ago, so any reviews prior to 2022 are not accurate! I heard about Pliny the Younger being on tap just two hours ago from a friend. I had to rearrange my day to ensure I could taste this once-a-year Russian River beer. Parking was available just two blocks away since their small parking lot was full. I discovered that each customer was limited to one 11.5 oz pour of Pliny the Younger Triple IPA for $10.95. After finding a seat and relocating three times to sit at the bar, I believe the establishment resembles an upscale Cap Tap (Original Rated Establishment) with similar tables, chairs, and room setup. There are 40 taps available, but only 32 were in use. -A star was deducted for allowing minors, as I don't appreciate taprooms that allow children to attend. -Another star is lost due to the belief that they use different glass sizes for tasters. I don't understand how they can justify one size over another for the 5.5-ounce pours. I believe they are misleading customers and charging more than they should. read more
