Mojo's local tap & kitchen--- Finally got to try this place, it's really close to my office! First off I have to give so many props to how dog friendly it is! Not only do they have a dog menu, they have two different walls devoted to pics of dogs! When my co worker and I walked in a chocolate Labrador was sitting at the bar with his human. He was perfect! We ordered at the bar- I got a cheeseburger.. add pepper jack cheese and ranch on the side! My co worker got the chili! The burger was great and the bun was delicious! The fries were perfect! Not soggy and not over done! The ambiance of this place is giving dogs, Sacramento kings, A's and baseball vibes! The outdoor patio is adorable! They have TV's to watch various sporting events. The service was great! No table service just order at the bar! Would for sure come back with my yellow Labrador!

Had a bacon burger, salt and pepper wings and some local beers. Great vibes. Service was fast. Had a good time. There was parking on site. Prices seemed reasonable. Will definitely be going back again.

I have to say food is amazing, friendly service great atmosphere, dog friendly, what else can you ask for. Beers on tap are great, if they don't have your regular branded beer, they sure have something better than what you usually drink. They don't promote the World Cup matches, but they do have them on their 7 or 6 TVs. I'm sure after the World Cup this will be my go to stop for sports or chill hang out.

MoJo's Local Tap & Kitchen offers a pleasant dining experience in Sacramento. We enjoyed sitting outdoors under the umbrellas, where the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The chicken wings were crispy and flavorful, perfectly paired with a cold drink. The burger was fresh and tasty as well. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a satisfying and enjoyable meal. We would definitely return.

It's my first visit to MoJo's. It was the perfect place to grab a bite before attending a play a block away. It was great that it was within walking distance. The staff were all very nice. The place was pretty busy, so we had to find seats outside, after ordering at the bar. We sat at the only open table for the four of us, of which did not have a heater by our table. It was 49 degrees outside, and since there were plenty of outside heat lamps, one that had 3 lamps around one table, we asked if one could be moved closer to our table. Instead, the brought out an additional lamp to place by us. It felt so good to feel that heat, but my back side remained frozen The food took awhile to come out, but it was a busy night for them, and we still made it to the play in plenty of time. I ordered a hamburger and shared it with the group. The rest ordered the 3-street taco appetizer, garlic fries, and child's chicken strips. We enjoyed the food, and it was the perfect amount for the 4 of us. When the garlic fries came out, the server said, several people also ordered it when they saw our order.

Great atmosphere and staff. Came here a bit too early before our friend's grad just to grab a quick beer but they were open to seating us while they cleaned around us. Chips and salsa help cut a bit of the hazy and calm our stomachs. Chips are thin and light, salsa complemented them well enough.

If I were to take a wild guess, I think that the building that houses this delightful restaurant was formerly an auto repair shop. The bar area is wide open to what is now seating. I loved the ambiance and how the building was reused. I like to sit outside and look at the historic buildings nearby. Of course, there has to be more than a cool location to bring us back more than once. I have tried different things each time. The street-style seared beef Tres Tacos with crispy potatoes and house guacamole was tasty and worth reordering. My mother would be shocked, that I like Brussels sprouts, but I do. The serving was generous; there was more than enough for me to take some home. On ou last visit I had Chef Antwyne Gumbo over. The menu said that it was medium heat. I might have become a hot food wuss; this dish was too hot, not spicy, that I only took a few bites and brought it home. I was able to tame the hot and enjoyed my leftovers, although, I would not order it again. I drank water but they have a good beer menu. K ordered the burgers and they did look good. I will try one the next time.

I tried the chili and the strawberry sournova and both were very good. I would order both again but I would definitely come back here to try other food and drinks as well. Service was fast and friendly. This is a spacious place so there is plenty of seating.

For drinks, they have 24 taps plus wine, kombucha, cider, and hop water, so there's something for everyone. You enter without truly knowing where to go or what to do, so be observant as there may be an actual line to order drinks and food, just don't cut someone off. Ordering was easy. Same window for beer and food. If you order food you're given a number that people deliver food. Came here for happy hour. I got myself a pretzel with add-on cheese, a pulled pork (seasonal) Belgie with fries, and I sampled other food that my friends ordered. Firstly, the 1L beer is worth it. Not happy hour prices., but well worth the volume. It definitely transported me back to my visit to Munich and the beer halls. Oh, I do miss the drunken singing of the Germans lol Secondly, the food was just okay. Pretzels were thankfully cheaper since it was happy hour but i paid $1 for the add-on cheese. The mustard combo sauce was great. I wish the pretzel was a bit bigger. I appreciated the warmth and the salt ratio; not overpowering. The Belgie (waffle sandwich) was also on happy hour. The texture of the waffle was great. Crisp exterior, soft interior. I ordered the seasonal pulled pork which was great in texture and decently portioned. It is a thick boy, so biting into it was a bit of a challenge. Ended up deconstructing the sandwich and used utensils. Sauce maybe would've been better on the side. Fries always win. No complaints though I wish I ordered the garlic fries... the smell was good. One thing I didn't get to try was their famous, Starbust drink which is a mix of beer, cider and some frosty, maybe. The color was intriguing and everyone seemed to order it around me. The misters were on, which was a blessing and a curse. Definitely helped cool me down, but also became a nuisance as the table and all my belongings got wet. Excited for their new location in Old Sac. Maybe a revised review in the future. Stay tuned.
