But both times, I've had great service, orders were never wrong, and the food was always hot and fresh. Those three things combined makes me like this place waaay more than Wingstop. What sets fire wings apart from other wing restaurants is the different unique flavors and the quality of the wings on how it's prepared. Delicious, crispy, flavorful batter on the outside, moist and meaty chicken on the inside. My personal fave is Salt and Pepper and Garlic Parmesan. Their garlic noodles are yummy too!! First tried Fire Wings in Davis and it was really good. Love that their wings are cooked with a crisp but not dried out or under cooked. Decided to stop in the Fairfield location and tried the Cali Rub, Peking and Salt & Pepper bone-in wings with some garlic noodles. The wait wasn't but maybe 10 minutes which was good because we waited over 30 minutes in Davis. The little gal at the register was friendly and had a great personality while being patient as we couldn't make up our mind and ended up doing a 20 piece order and then added an extra 10 wings. The wings were cooked to perfection. We love the Peking with the Salt & Pepper coming in a close second. The Cali-Rub is good too but they had a little more heat this time. We are not fans of really spicy food so they were borderline almost too hot but the flavor is great. The Salt & Pepper are delicious and not spicy if you don't eat the jalapeño's that come in them. The Peking is like a Sweet & Sour sauce that is soooo frickin good. Definitely my fave. As for the garlic noodles....they are like a little slice of sweet heaven. I ordered their 8 piece wings with lemon pepper and buffalo and a side order of garlic noodles. I liked that I could order naked wings and asked for no garnish. I went to the restaurant 20 minutes later and my order was handed to me without a wait. I thought the wings were good but nothing out of this world special. The garlic noodles were unexpectedly good, but a little on the dry side. They also had a little too much parmesan cheese for my liking, however I will order them again. Oh Fire Wings! You got my vote as a regular customer. From the friendly customer service over the phone to the "Welcome To Fire Wings" greeting.. I already felt welcome as a newbie walking into a new place. What I ordered: 5 Dragon, 5 Jamaican Jerk, 5 Chipotle, and 5 Parmesan Cheese Chicken Wings and a LARGE Garlic Noodles with a large side of ranch and large side of bleu cheese. Overall, the taste of the wings were delicious and I was full after eating 6 wings and half of the garlic noodles. So was my husband. We had seconds couple hours later to finish our meal. The boneless wings were meatier and the breading was light. The wings were not heavy on the breading, which I DO NOT like. I would like to taste more of the meat and sauce rather than the breading. The sauces were yummy and the wings were not drenched with the sauce. Now, if you are a person that likes lots of sauce on your wings, I suggest you ask them to put extra sauce. My wings were just enough sauce to taste the flavor with the chicken. The sauce did not overpower. The garlic noodles was tasty and the garlic did not overpower the noodles. The noodles were soft and al dente. Now, my only gripe about the garlic noodles is that I ordered a LARGE, thinking it can feed my husband and I. Well, if you look at the picture, the large looks pretty small to feed two people. When I think of a LARGE side order, I think double the amount of what is pictured. Hence, the -1 star. Overall, my husband and I liked the quality of their food and will try out different rubs and sauces. And also their sides. Please look over my pictures, as it shows the description of each rub. When I went to their mobile website, they did not have a clear description of what each sauce contained. I am a visual person, so I would like to see what I am ordering (picture and description). Side note: Parking is VERY limited, so if you go on a busy day, make sure to be prepared and have patience. Also, the restaurant is not very big. Insert crying emoji here. Parking was such a hassle too since the lot was small and the spaces were limited as they're shared with its neighboring stores. The restaurant did feel pretty new though and was clean, except when ignorant customers thought it was okay to leave their trash on the table. So that said, PLEASE CLEAN AFTER YOURSELF. In terms of food, we ordered 20 pack of bone-in chicken with flavors Salt and Pepper, Garlic Parmesan and Dragon. Garlic Parmesan was my favorite out of the three as it was flavorful and tasted so much better compared to Wingstop's and BWW's. Dragon was delicious too and my boyfriend absolutely enjoyed it. Salt and Pepper in the beginning was good but ended up being just alright after. In addition to being so tasty, their wings are also meaty and perfectly crunchy. Seasoned fries were amazing too! I really wanted to like this place but the wings just weren't it for me. It's underwhelming and all I could think about is that I'd prefer Wingstop. The cook on the wings itself aren't crispy which I think is key to a good wing. Garlic Parmesan- 2/5 more like an Italian herb, it's buttery which I did like but the wings weren't crispy so it made it a weird texture, also the flavor was egh. Louisiana Rub- 2/5 this one tripped me out because it tasted like the wings you get from Mary's pizza shack. Also, I didn't taste any "kick." I wasn't convinced it was Louisiana Rub. Mango Habanero- 2/5 more mango not hot at all. Seasoned fries tasted like they were out for a while, not fresh and reminded me of Carl Jr. fries., would pass altogether. First timer at Fire Wings. Had heard that they had finally opened, and the wife and I decided to give it a try. As we walked in, we could see that it had a cross between BWW and wingstop type of atmosphere. It was a small restaurant like wingstop, but had the beer and tv's like BWW. They even have bar seating, which was cool. I could see them hosting an event like pay per view sports. The staff were real friendly and patient as you search and decide through their menu choices. They definitely have a good selection of wing types, including some Asian fusion flavors. Really nice because it makes you want to come back and try the different flavors. Service was a little slow but understandable. They are newly opened and at the time we were there, there were a good amount of customers. I ordered the mango habanero wings, lemon pepper wings, and a small order of the garlic noodles. Overall the wings were good. I've had better garlic noodles, but considering it's local, it's not bad compared to having to drive to the city for some garlic noodles. They have choices between wet, and dry rub wings. Overall, I have a feeling we will be back, and I'm definitely going to give their other flavors a try. I hope Fire Wings maintains its service and cleanliness. As much as I love Fire Wings, I just can't give it 5 stars. The food is bomb. All the flavors that I have tried so far are great. My personal favorite would be Malaysian Curry. Food has been pretty consistent overall. The reason for only 2 stars is the service. My family and I have been here at least once every week (sometimes twice) since they have opened. Their wait times still have not gotten much better. The last time I tried ordering online. It was not a great experience. We got there earlier than the pick up time but checked in with the cashier and she said they would get working on it. After almost an hour wait and many people dropping in and getting their orders first, we asked about our order and they said it's more convenient to just come in and order rather than place an online order. The whole point of ordering online is to be quicker. We came from Vallejo just for this, and this experience has ruined Fire Wings for me for a while. Okay so today I decided to stop by this little shopping center and I noticed that the Firewings finally open. When you first arrive at this location, parking can kind of be a little bit hectic because other businesses such as T-Mobile, T4. The interior is really really nice here. It is maybe about the same size as the downstairs area of the Arden firewings, or rather the same size as the Fair Oaks firewings location. They have plenty of big screen TVs surrounding the entire inside, they have three big screen TVs that are situated in the bar area. I don't believe that the bar area is open yet because I do not see any name tags on any of the taps. I placed my order online while I was sitting in T4 drinking my oolong milk tea. When I went to pick up my order, luckily there wasn't really that many people in line but as soon as I got there the line started to build up and even throughout the day that I was inside of T4, I kept seen tons of people coming in and out of firewings. The one thing I must say that they need to improve here is the response of those online orders. I did not get any notification that my order was ready, unlike the other firewings that I have been to in Sacramento and Fair Oaks they send me a notification saying that my order is ready for pickup. So I think that's over time they can improve on that. The guy at the front counter was quite helpful. When I showed him my online order stuff he immediately found my order and proceeded to handed me my food. There is ample seating inside here, they also have a soda machine with a ton of flavors I'm guessing. And I think pretty soon they will be offering beer as soon as they probably clear their liquor license. Im giving this place a Solid 4 Stars right now, like I said as long as they improve their online order response and also open the bar I think the rating would definitely go up to five star. She asked me to bring back all of my orders (2 & 1/2 meals) to get the side I am missing. I told her that was fine, but I asked if my food would be remade because then all of my food would be cold by the time I got back home. She said they would not accommodate. I then asked to speak to a manager. She said "we don't have a manager here today". She placed me on hold and then gave the phone to another female. She stated the same thing. I asked the manager's name again and she also stated "I can not give you that information". I then asked her name. She said I'm not allowed to give you that information! The best I can do for you is give my manager your name and number" and then hung up on me!!! I've had great service at the Fairfield store for years now. Only after a day of our first visit, we found ourselves being back here right away. ONLY A DAY AFTER OUR FIRST VISIT! Lol. I can definitely say I'm a solid fan of Fire Wings now. I just want to make a quick review of the Garlic Noodles, and 3 chicken wings flavors (Jamaican Jerk, Korean Kick, and Mango Habanero). Garlic noodles was really tasty and I was so happy that they used real garlic and not just garlic powder. If you love garlic, then this is a must for you. As for the wings, Mango Habanero was really good and my second most favorite. It has that sweetness, tang, and a perfect bite of that spiciness. As for the Korean Kick, it was good and does come with a kick of spice. It was actually a little bit more spicy than the mango habanero. And here comes the Jamaican Jerk.
