    Grilled Sirloin*
    Sophia S.

We ordered the Steak Penne and a Grilled Sirloin with a side of fresh vegetables. The grilled sirloin may have been the only good thing about our visit. The steak penne came with 5 pieces of steak and the sauce was very watery. The service was not the best either. We came in 5 minutes before our reservation and were waiting until about 10 minutes past our reservation (despite the fact that we reserved and had a two person party). Our waiter was unable to bring us water before the hostess gave us plastic to go cups of water, and did not take food orders until about 10-15 minutes after we received our drinks. Our waters were not refilled and we were not spoken too or checked on after we got our food. The reason we gave the restaurant stars was because of the ambiance. It is a very upscale casual restaurant and it was comfortable. There were also places for us to wait inside. Unsure why this experience occurred during weeknight dinner when it was not as busy (maybe relating to staffing?). We went to the location at the Chandler Mall in the past and enjoyed our experience and the food better at that location. We will be going to that location from now on.

This place was a new try for us and did not disappoint! Everyone enjoyed their meals! I got the wedge salad which had to be one of the best I've had, the onion ring and bacon on top made it that much better!! The ribs fell off the bone and were so good, and my daughter got the Alfredo pasta which she really enjoyed as well. My mother in law got a salad and love it's as well. The crème brûlée cheesecake was so unique and sooo yummy!! Definitely will have to go back and try other entrees! The service was great and very accommodating. The restaurant was very nice and clean and was extremely busy so obviously has a great reputation!

We decided to pop in at lunch time last week and we were seated immediately, everyone was great start to finish bet kind and helpful staff. Food was delicious! We ordered cheeseburgers and salads one Cesar salad and one BLT salad, both were great with a very tasty burger! So good that we are going back for Valentine's Day!!! Must try! Great food, service and atmosphere!

We came here a few years ago and weren't quite sure why we didn't return sooner--possibly because of the long wait for our food. Nevertheless, we decided to give it another try. This time, the wait was shorter, though still noticeable. That said, the food was absolutely chef's kiss! We ordered the Tomahawk Pork Chop--grilled pork chop with sticky hot honey, fresh pico, and charred carrots--and also had steak and shrimp, both cooked to perfection. Overall, it's a great place for a dinner date, a group dinner, or a family get-together if you don't mind a bit of a wait.

Visited for my aunts birthday, our server Elise was amazing! She was very attentive made sure that our drinks were always full, accommodated my gluten free diet, made sure we got everything we wanted, and went above and beyond with her service. She made my aunts birthday extra special! Our first time eating at Firebirds and for sure will be coming back after this great experience.

It was last day of restaurant week so I decided to come here for their set menu. The service and ambiance were amazing. We all enjoyed the prime rib as our main course and the crème brûlée cheesecake! My black diamond tasted great. But my prime rib came with a lot of fat. I asked the waitress how big is the steak and it was 13 oz. I think mine came with 4 oz of fat. Not sure why the chef thought I like eating fat? I did love my steak. I felt cheated that's all.

The atmosphere is very dim lit and peaceful. The staff were extremely kind as well. The food was ok. I got a Caesar salad, which was absolutely incredible with the garlic ranch. My steak and potatoes were pretty under seasoned though and I found myself reaching for the salt and pepper throughout most of the meal. The bacon butter didn't add as much flavor as you'd think, but wasn't bad. Excellent cut of juicy meat though, and it was cooked perfectly, so that's something worth noting. The creme brulee cheesecake was pretty tasty as well, although not much caramelization on top, just really thick sugar glass basically. Not a huge fan of the Hershey's chocolate syrup, but that's just me. All in all, it was a tasty meal. I just wasn't as blown away as I thought I'd be.

    Awesome Firebird!

Evening Yelpers, Arizona restaurant week is here!! Our choice was Firebirds on Williams Field. Easy to make a reservation on open door. Table was ready at 5!! We had a special day my wife's 75th birthday. My choice was Pineapple Wood Grilled Chicken. The sweetness of the pineapple added a great flavor to enjoy. 2 big pieces filled the plate with seasoned veggies. Our friend enjoyed the wood Fired Petite Filet was outstanding and prepared as Tom ask for it. Jeff our server did an amazing job with how busy the restaurant was during this time. Keep checking with us as he took care of other guests. Seth the bar manager even stopped to welcome us right after we sat down. When a restaurant makes you feel so welcome, to me that is going above the expectations of how to treat your customers!!

Firebirds in Gilbert, Arizona was an absolute surprise--in the best way. I went for my birthday dinner, and I can't believe I had never heard of or eaten here before! The bacon deviled eggs were phenomenal, packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. The loaded baked potato was also phenomenal, rich, hearty, and done just right. My steak was cooked perfectly, exactly to order, tender and flavorful. My husband got the same thing but, got the Parmesan mashed potatoes instead and said they were delicious. The only small downsides were that it's kind of dark inside and the kids' hamburger could've been more flavorful, as it didn't seem very seasoned. That said, neither took away from how great the overall experience was. It made for a wonderful birthday dinner, and I'll definitely be back!

Steak Frites* left Steak Sandwich* right

We went here this Thursday for the first time. Our server Alyssa was so helpful in exploring the menu and she even brought out a sauce tester for my husband to make sure it wasn't too spicy for him. (He had already expressed he's not a fan of spicy) I got the steak and frites which they said was a new menu item that started yesterday. Boy, am I glad I would eat it every week! My husband loved the steak sandwich but also said he would go steak frites as well! All of the staff were amazing; and the inside was super cute with their art and decor.

11/8/25: still superb. My sister wanted excellent food to celebrate the big 5-0 mile marker and Firebirds was her choice. It did not disappoint. They added peppers to the creamy deviled eggs but luckily they were not IN the eggs, just laying on top (easily picked off & discarded). The tomahawk pork chop was excellent seasoned, the au gratin potatoes were a bit crusty on top (could have done w/o that) and the grilled street corn was cold (not sure if that is normal ... ?). My sister enjoyed her prime rib immensely. Despite my crunchy taters & cold corn, it was still a wonderful meal. Our server, Danielle, was polite & attentive. No complaints there. It is a bit pricey, which is why we have only visited for very special occasions. If you're ever looking to treat yourself, Firebirds is a great place.

    Firebirds Chicken Pasta
    Kelsey R.

I came here with a group of colleagues. This was a great spot for an upscale dinner. We started with several appetizers for the table. Several people ordered steaks. I had the firebirds chicken pasta for my main entrée. The portions were very large. I probably will have two leftover meals, which is wonderful. The cocktail I ordered was fruity and refreshing. We were seated immediately. We did not have to wait. The restaurant is quite large, but was busy on a Tuesday night. Our service was prompt and friendly overall a great new place to add to the list of go to spots in Chandler.

This was our first time here and we will be back. My husband and I both got the baby back ribs deal. They were tasty and so were the steak fries. The house bread was amazing! Warm with soft butter. Our server, Lilly, was awesome! Also, the other staff we interacted with were friendly. The facility was clean and very inviting as was the bathroom. I had my birthday coupon that we used to even sweeten the deal! Signup to get their emails and watch the deals roll in.

Why is this place so impossible to set a 2 person reservation? Is it truly that busy or will I have luck walking in?

You can make a reservation by picking a date, time, & party size. Either through Open Table or thru their website. I would suggest picking an "off time" when they're not as busy, so you'll have better service.

They did offer three mocktails which wasn't really impressive and the cocktails did include a variety of liquors and flavor profiles but again, wasn't as extensive or interesting as some other speakeasies around town. The food menu was very disappointing - a lot of dairy and bread - pretzels with cheese, flatbread, queso with chips, and "rabbit food" - hummus with bread and vegetables. We asked to have all vegetables instead of bread and they did accommodate with a generous helping of full-size rainbow carrots and cherry tomatoes. We actually ran out of hummus before we could finish the vegetables. I understand elevated pricing for the aesthetic/experience but I did think the pricing here was a little bit high for what was received.

We also shared the seared jumbo scallops...High Tides knows how to cook scallops to the best! So yummy and tender and perfectly cooked with that crispy outer and the soft, creamy inside. We also shared a Caesar salad and one of the things we love about this place...ask and you can get some fresh anchovy on the side to add to the salad. Wife always asks for more lemon as well to drizzle over the salad. Overall a fantastic dinner for us and everyone with us!
