Been here many times and I really like their pizza (love soppressata, artichokes & pesto when I build my own!). Their crust is light and doesn't leave me feeling bloated - which is what I like! Finally had a chance to visit Firecrust...this was a visit two years in the making and it was well worth the wait! Came here for a private event but the food was off the menu. I had the prosciutto and arugula pizza, but did also manage to have bites of my friends margherita and pozuolli pizzas...the crust was perfectly "fire crusted", and balanced with the toppings perfectly. The vibe of the restaurant is great and I love the casual dining yet fast food concept. Reminds me of MOD pizza back here in the US, and I'm glad Vancouver has something similar. Really neat concept for pizza. I have eaten in Italy and love the fire stone oven they use over here. Overall a nice place. Pros: very friendly staff; great authentic selections. Cons: they advertise 90seconds -- this was not the case. More like 2-3 minutes. Not including the prep and the time they were focused on other tasks. A bit pricy for the novelty. If you enjoy your authentic pizza, for the price it might be best to go elsewhere, unless in a pinch and have time to wait. If I had ordered in (stayed to eat), I would've returned the food and walked out! AND if I had gone to pick up the food rather than my husband, I would've just told them no thank you! Is this place serious??? Please, if you are staying in the area and just want to keep it simple like pizza, maybe try blaze pizza. I know the blaze pizza doesn't disappoint in So Cal when I want a quick bite. I haven't had the one here . None of our pizzas looked like the ones on yelp. The ham looked and tasted like turkey spam and I didn't see any roasted sausage. The Marg was burnt. From the pic, you can see that some of the areas were burnt - imagine the bottom. BLAZE is always consistent as they use a machine to spread the crusts and not by hand so never raw, thin nor soggy and burnt. Good day, I gave you many chances but found a better place that I enjoy. This is the first time I've ordered from this place and it's already managed to send me two of the blandest, soggiest pizzas I've ever had. Maybe it's the toppings I chose, or the sauce (Italian tomato). Maybe because I've developed a gluten sensitivity and am now forced to have gluten-free options. Maybe it's because it was a BOGO Uber deal. Maybe it's all of the above, I have no idea. But these are pretty much the only pizzas I've had where I'm literally choking them down so as not to waste food. I shudder to think about the mushy sogginess of the crust. I've added half a bottle of capers to the pie to make it less bland. I've just now poured pasta sauce over the leftovers, a generous smattering of red pepper flakes and more cheese over it so that I can finish the food without throwing it away. The Caesar salad had croutons and that was it and barely enough dressing. The s'mores calzone was awful. The dough was so tough and chewy and Flavourless. I hope I don't oversell this joint. It's good. So good we ate dinner there 3 days out of the 5 we were in Vancouver. Day one we had two pizzas; one vegetale for me and one pozzuoli for the husband. Day two we had leftover pizza with a mixed greens salad topped with fruit vinaigrette. Day three the husband had Italian wedding soup with siciliana pizza. I ordered the caprese salad and quattro formaggi pizza. So delicious. I'm going to miss this place. When you walk in the door you order and they make your pizza right there on the spot while you watch. It's set up similar to Subway or Chipotle ordering style. After your pizza has all it's toppings, you pay the cashier and your pizza goes into the brick oven. It takes 90 seconds to bake your pizza, then they deliver it to your table on a large plate. Now, the best part, eat! The cheese they offer is fresh, soft, quality, amazing. The San Marino tomato sauce is sweet and delicate. The crust is thin and crisps up just enough, plus, with the light char from the brick oven it's divine. The toppings are kept to a minimum so the pie retains it's shape for eating ease. Friday dinner. Gluten friendly crust. The pizza's base was soggy and undercooked. The top of the pizza had burnt patches. Good concept. Poor execution. NOTE: There is wheat flour dust in the air so don't enter if you are celiac. Menu: I ordered the gluten-friendly pizza without cheese. There are a lot of options for toppings but the base was disappointing. The gluten free crust comes out of a freezer or fridge. Perhaps the GF base need to be pre-cooked before adding the toppings. The edges/crust was very crisp. The gluten-friendly pizza is definitely contaminated with wheat flour so be aware if you are celiac or have extreme gluten allergies. I've eaten here twice and experienced the same undercooked pizza base. Venue: Easy to get to. There is a covered patio on Howe Street which is great in the summer. They serve wine & beer. WAY better than I was expecting. The staff were extra helpful to my co-workers and I, the place wasn't busy so maybe they had more time to walk us through the ordering process? Regardless, great first impression. They were even training someone and it didn't have much of an effect on the timing. We all chose the 'Build Your Own Pizza Adventure' which turns out to be like 10" of pizza for $11 before tax. You can get multiple types of cheese (including Fior Di Latte!) and an absurd amount of meat or veg toppings, I think they only up-charge on the Prosciutto. The staff were good with ingredient placement and were not being light with the coverage. The cook knew the oven and the crust was basically perfect, so thank you for that! I attribute some of the successes on my visit to it the restaurant not being slammed with people. I wonder if it were busier (we went after 1pm) if the quality and care would suffer, or the size/speed of the oven would delay you getting your hands on the pie? One of my co-workers went a little trigger happy and got too many ingredients on their creation and you could see the dough suffering from it. Since I make a lot of pizza at home (no amazing firebox oven though!) I have suffered through too many brine or oiled toppings ruining the crust. When we got to the place I saw a long line and thought oh great this is going to be a very long wait which doesn't bode well for 2 very hungry kids. But to my surprise it moved very quickly. They said it was the best tasting pizza that they ever had (and boy do they know pizza)! But what I'm not happy with is that there's no locations in Seattle where we live lol. They're already asking if they can come back. Reasonable prices especially with the kids menu which is about 6" and includes a fountain drink for $7.95 Canadian. I usually enjoy picking out everything from sauce, to cheese, to toppings, and then watching them fire up my pizza in their huge pizza oven before gobbling it up. However, I've noticed that about of 1/3 of the times I've come into this location, they've been out of gluten free dough, leaving me in an awkward situation as I do not eat gluten. Also, more recently some of the pizzas have been pretty significantly burnt on the edges. I don't mind just a little from time to time and usually overlook it, but when it has impacted the entire crust, it just isn't as enjoyable. Great pizzas overall (shakes are good too)! I saw this in passing while walking to and from a show. If I wasn't so full I would've stopped here before the concert to eat here, however, had to book mark it on February 1st for a later date. I love the concept of this place, fresh made to order in front of your eyes. Most of the toppings are basic. It does get fired on demand. There is some seating, however, it is always busy. Take away is recommended. You get whole pizzas, no slices. They have some dessert pizzas, however, selection is limited with these. The pizza was baked alright. This is a Neapolitan Pizzeria if it wasn't clear from the name. That's a pretty specific thing. To save you from Googling: it means the crust is chewy. If you don't want that, then request crispy. Having said that, this is a great place. Cheap, fresh and fast as long as there's not a line. It reminds me of a similar place in Los Angeles called "800 Degrees", the only difference being this place uses a gas oven instead of wood, probably due to regulations. read more

Had the pleasure of dining here yesterday for lunch. The Neapolitan pizza was spot on in a nice place. I have eaten at Via Tevere and Nicli and love their pizza as well but Firecrust is the same but way cheaper. My pizza was $11 with about 8 toppings since you can put on as many as you like. The same pizza at other Neapolitan places would easily be $17. If you want more toppings just ask that is what's great about his place. My wife had a salad that she built for $10. She had 3 meats along with many vegetables she couldn't believe the value compared to other salad restaurants. We didn't try the dessert but will next time. Can't wait to go again and welcome to the neighbourhood as I am sick of the crap slice placed and poor quality topping many have in the area! read more
