    Injected Backfire burger

Yes, yes, yes!! You can't go wrong with any sandwich here--seriously, pick one and prepare to be blown away. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are absolutely top-tier, the shakes are next-level, and the service is genuinely warm and friendly. And here's the kicker: they actually infuse the burger with extra cheese and smoke right at your table. My husband nearly lost his mind when that happened! It's a fun, casual spot with plenty of seating--definitely worth a visit.

Love this place. The food was delicious. They have amazing house sauces. & the service was great. Definitely recommend

this is such an underrated burger place! My friend and I stopped in for lunch and their menu had a wide range of food and drink items. We got the kamikaze and firefly burgers with the smoke and cheese injection add ons, I would suggest not getting the regular cheese if you do the injection. they also had some great apps, a delicious salad, and an AMAZING briscoff milkshake, omg!!!!

Great tasty food. Nice service. The inside is a bit small yet works. The ambiance is great. Nice place to get food.

One of the best burgers we have ever had hands down. I'm considering moving closer to this Chicago location just so I can have it more often. I've tried a lot of burgers in my life, but this one really hits different. The meat was juicy without being greasy, and the flavor was next level. Everything from the bun to the toppings was balanced. It was so good, I literally packed 2 more to take on the plane back to Phoenix. I ate one mid-flight and saved the other for when I landed. Still delicious. This place has completely raised the bar for me. Now I get why it's gone global flavor like this deserves to be everywhere. The place was clean, clean restroom and attentive staff.

The food here was fresh, hot and good quality. Choose this spot as had a discount from restaurants.com. This venue is in the heart of Lincoln Park near the Apollo Theater. For food we grabbed onion rings, curly fries, and two burgers. I grabbed the backfire burger. This burger was really good but maybe too much sauce. My husband stated that menu said that burger come slathered in sauce. When I return, I will ask for less sauce or sauce on the side. It was too much for me. Anyhoo the burger was tender and cooked perfectly. The backfire sauce is spicy...but good. My husband enjoyed his firefly burger and his curly fries. The onion rings were stand out and would definitely order again. All in all a good dinner.

Love the food in this location. I like their "Seasoned Fries." Highly recommended for everyone. Price is very reasonable too.

The food, service, and atmosphere were amazing!! I enjoyed the burger a lot and the fries were great. Also got to try the sauces and the spice was great. The music was the perfect level as well so it was a great sit down place. Can't wait to come back!

Food here is so good! The burgers are drenched in their house sauce and it's delicious and juicy. They prepare each burger fresh and their french fries are also crispy. We tried their chicken tenders are they meet expectations overall. The prices are reasonable and the service is pretty fair. Parking can be limited due to its busy location, but worth checking out.

Double-Kamikaze with French Fries. Single-Backfire with Curly Fries. Extra sauces

i've been craving a big fat juicy burger for a WHILE and i'm so glad Firefly satisfied that need! I ordered a double Kamikaze and my friend a single Backfire, we both loved it so much, so full of flavor along with the fries and dipping sauces :)

Great service and tasty food! The fries were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Great first meal on our trip to Chicago!

Bad Burger (Unflavored and Overpriced) I don't know how this place is getting 5 star reviews. Honestly one of the worst burgers I've had. Looked nice on the outside, but once you take a bite it was mainly mayo, bread and some other sauces. The meat was super thin and the bacon was hard and chewy. To top it off the burger cost $18. Don't go here if you want good food. Many other options on that street. Also, I think they are paying for 5 star reviews on Google reviews.

The burgers here is OUTSTANDING !!! First time at Firefly burgers and it's safe to say this is my absolute favorite burger. Added bonus it is halal. We first ordered the cheesy curly fries and fried jalapeño bites. The fries were loaded with cheese, just the way I like it. The jalapeño were hot and crispy and tasted amazing. For the burger I had the Backfire with the smoke gun. They have a mini version too, which has a single patty. The burger is delicious, the buns are thick, and the sauces are just wow. Loved that it has a spicy kick to it. The plastic gloves provided at the table are so needed and so glad it is available. Tried the Ferrero Rocher milkshake and it was a favorite too. It's not crazy thick where it hard to get it up the straw. The consistency was perfect and you could taste the Ferrero Rocher, so good !! Must visit burger place in Chicago!! Check it out asap. The space is a bit tight , hope the business expands the space soon.

Their baba ghanoush is also creamier than others I've had, seems quite similar to their hummus, with a lot of tahini mixed in maybe? I didn't love their chicken shawarma wrap in the past, but that might be because I'm not that into their hot sauce. I'd love to get their veggie platter sometime! Service is friendly and quick. What are the odds one restaurant can be a serious contender for the best falafel AND the best burgers in town? I've been there a few times and I'm in love with the ka'ak patty melt burger. We split it and fries (also delicious with za'atar seasoning) and that was plenty.. But the onion burger is also pretty great. And you have to get the falafel. Also the onion rings. We were talking to this dude with his girl and he was from Italy and he seemed to have enjoyed his burger as well. We get double protein as much as possible as we're big eaters and the double pattie OK smash cheeseburger was excellent. The Ragadan salad was different with kale and it was pretty good (bright, fresh, and colorful) with extra kefta beef patties. We also smuggled in those Jennivee's cupcakes and ate them after our peaceful meal here in Uptown, which happens to be my old hood. I still remember eating sardines for dinner, just like Biggie. :)

Service was fine but not overly warm, and since it was our first time, we found ourselves asking about the menu rather than having it introduced. The menu starts with a shared hummus. We had the bubbe's brisket, which was very tender, along with four sides to mix and dip with pita. For the second course, we chose the kubbeh halab and beef tongue. The kubbeh halab, a fried dumpling with lamb, was flavorful and came with some dill and brown sauce, that worked well together. The beef tongue was extremely tender and paired nicely with its rich sauce. The stuffed cabbage with rice was a bit plain compared to the other dishes. For mains, we had the barramundi and lobster. Both were cooked well. The sweet potato purée with the barramundi did not work as well with the beurre blanc since the textures were too similar, and there was a bit too much sauce. The lobster stood out with a citrus sauce and slices of blood orange, and paired nicely with the parsnip purée. Worth the additional $20. For dessert, we had the malabi, which was described to us like a panna cotta. The citrus topping was a bit too tart, so this was probably my least favorite course. Overall, really good execution on their meats and seafood. We would come back and try other dishes. They also offer a happy hour with some dishes available à la carte.
