My meal ended up being 20.00 ( not including tip) which was pretty outrageous for a slightly better fast food meal The second thing that might have soured me a bit was the person making my sandwich loudly cleared their throat while they were making it. One of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in Chicago. I had the spicy honey butter chicken sandwich. It's not super spicy, next time I'll try and make it spicier. Yum, I love Fry the Coop! I was surprised to see this location when I was driving down Lincoln one day, and I don't know if it's a good thing to have one within a couple miles or not. And they actually have honey mustard sauce, which I'm not sure the Portage Park one does. Anyway, their medium level spice is my favorite and the one I always get because the next level up is tooo spicy for me to have more than just a bite, and the others are not spicy enough. The staff here were friendly and the place is just getting up and running so there wasn't a big crowd. They have only a few tables but most of their business will probably be carry-out anyway given they're just around the corner from DePaul. Food was good, as I'm used to from Fry the Coop, and the prices were on par with most of the other places (except the ridiculously expensive one in Oak Lawn). I ordered 2 mild sandwiches with fries and coleslaw and let me just tell you, that was a damn good chicken sandwich.
