My husband and I got here around 6:30 on a weeknight, and not only they were already out of baked potatoes, their seating was completely full. How good is their food? You'll need to get here early to find out!! We both got pulled pork sandwiches with sauce on the side, and a small side to go. The spicy sauce is not habanero hot, but medium spicy, and very flavorful. The portion size was good, and the happiest part for me was that the cole slaw was on point. You know that cole slaw that you're gonna end up throwing away after a single bite because it's soggy or too vinegary? That ain't this! Crisp and lightly sweet, super fresh, and delicious. I was not disappointed! Hubby reports that the mac & cheese was good as well. Enter and line up to the left to order. Menu boards are on the wall so you can peruse what's not yet sold out while you're in line. The limited menu means they do a few good things really, really well. Indoor seating is a bit cramped, but clean. Service is quick and friendly. Can't ask for anything more from a barbecue joint than that! The number of reviews they've gotten on Yelp look like they outnumber those of any other restaurant in town. And while many of the business owners here seem to work together to support each other's efforts, this was the only restaurant suggestion I got without even asking. Amazing!! Beyond mouth-watering! The bbq pork ribs were incredible, fall off the bone delicious. The cole slaw was outstanding as was the Mac n cheese' was absolutely delicious. We arrived just as a young woman posted a sign about peach cobbler being available. She'd just taken it out of the oven. We knew we were added peach cobbler to our order and we are really glad we did. We definitely plan to come back here before we leave. The best bbq ribs and bbq sauce ever. There was a line , but it moved really quickly. Ordering was easier than usual because the people behind the counter were so helpful and kind. We ordered half rack of ribs, brisket, loaded potatoes, and a pork sandwich. The corn, Mac n cheese and beans were really tasty. I don't usually go crazy for even the best BBQ in our town , but the flavor profile at this place was buttery, salty, sweet and spicy in the best way possible. They left the sides less salted to balance the salted flavor on the meats. The people behind the counter were so attentive ( I really appreciated them ) and the bus boy even helped us find a table during the busiest hour. Amazing bbq! Our family got pulled pork and brisket and all 4 sides. Our family has raved and raved about how it was some of the best we've had! I'm really picky on Cole slaw, but it was perfect. I will have to agree this is the best bbq in town. Line was out the door but moving fast. It is closed 10pm or until sold out and I can see them selling out. For variety we got 1/2 lb brisket and 1/2 lb pork ribs. Both were nicely smoked. Bbq sauce was tasty, especially the hot one. I prefer the lean brisket (they ask if you want lean or marble) because it does have some decent fat on it too. Pork ribs were good however too little meat for the amount of bone. We ordered a baked potato too. It is a quarter pound of meat. We got pulled pork. I'm glad we tried this as it was very good. The potato was hot and cooked through. We got two sides- corn salad and coleslaw. Although the corn salad was supposed to be the unique thing to get, we enjoyed the coleslaw more. Service was fast and friendly. So at first I was really annoyed they didn't have online ordering. I mean come on even the mediocre pizza place had that. So I drove my lazy butt the few blocks to the place and realized why. There was a fairly long line, but they have a system. One person takes your order then two others set up the plate while the first person prepares your meat and then another person finishes your plate and ANOTHER checks you out. The whole thing took maybe 7 minutes. The brisket was gone so we didn't get that but we had the pork and turkey sandwiches and a half rack of ribs which were all very good. Their sauces are a little mild for my taste, but good nonetheless. The coleslaw expert tells me she loved the coleslaw. Definitely worth getting dinner here. Side note - I was so impressed I told them they were awesome and they really seemed to appreciate it. When people do a good job we should take a moment to acknowledge that. After reading reviews and getting a recommendation from a local, we stopped by and realized that this spot was also on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. Located in West Yellowstone off of Firehole Ave, next to a gas station, you'll find a spot with delicious BBQ. We walked in and stood in line to order. We ordered Brisket sandwiches, which come on a hamburger bun with pickles and onions on the side. The friendly staff asked if we wanted juicy or lean. We ordered one of each. We also added a side of coleslaw, mac and cheese, and corn salad. The brisket was delicious! Not liking fatty meat, I chose the lean, and it was still tender. The meat had a smokey flavor that was seasoned well. Add the BBQ and hot sauce on the table for even more flavor. I wasn't a huge fan of the hamburger bun. The sides were interestingly good. They hand cut and weigh each order, the smoke and seasoning is perfection, the mac and cheese is a delightful 'death by dairy', cheesy goodness with a touch of spice rub in it! Oh my! This was definitely the highlight of my Yellowstone trip! I saw that it was on the Yelp top 100 BBQ places, and I was going to be in the area so it became my mission to stop here. This places deserves that status in the article because it has a line out the door non stop. When we went there was a line and every time we drove by there was a line. The line does move pretty quickly and by the time you make your way to sit down there are tables available. We got the ribs and brisket and they were both tender, juicy, and delicious!!
