Avoid this food truck. If I could give it zero stars, I would. This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The owner immediately told us our party was too big. We arrived with our family of 5 and my brother's family of 7. Since I have celiac disease and this was one of the few places I could eat, my wife stayed to order while I the rest of us went to McDonalds. When I returned with my three young kids, the owner actually scolded us for bringing back McDonald's, even though we had done that to make his life easier. He also ignored the party of six behind us who had been waiting for at least 30 minutes and instead took the order of the group behind them (4 people). After waiting nearly 40 minutes just to order (there was only one party in front of us), our food was finally handed to us in a bag with hairs stuck under the sealing sticker. For celiac friendly food, it was above average- but it wasn't worth the hostility. There are plenty of places that appreciate their customers. This isn't one of them. Update: The owner's response leaves out important context. We arrived as two families totaling 12 people. After he said he wouldn't serve a group that size, my brother's family left. Because I have celiac disease and this was one of the few places I could safely eat, my wife stayed to order while I took our three young children to McDonald's. When I returned with just my kids, the owner told me to "get that McCrap out of here," not to use his trash cans, and later called me "a dick" to my wife. He also accused our nephews of scratching his table. We checked the table before leaving and found no scratches. After I posted this review, he publicly called us "terrible parents" and "terrible people," told me to "go back to Utah" even though I'm not from Utah, and later sent me a private message calling me "full of crap" and "utard." I've included screenshots so readers can judge for themselves. Final update: The owner has now revised his response to add new allegations that are simply untrue, including that we ate chicken nuggets (we didn't even order these, my kids don't like them) and that my wife disguised herself to get back in line. Neither happened. I stand by my review and have no interest in arguing further. Readers can decide for themselves after reading both sides.

Found this DELICIOUS food on our last night in town. Have been wishing for another meal since leaving. MUST TRY!!! GLUTEN FREE Onion Rings were AMAZING!! I haven't ordered onion rings while eating out in over 20yrs due to GF. I can't put into words how delicious these were along with my grilled chicken sandwich on a yummy GF roll. My daughter tried a Bison Burger for her first time; she says Yum!!! If you find yourself near this food truck, consider yourself lucky!!!! Delightful, helpful owner who understands GF dining.

It's a food truck, so seating outside. We went on a very nice night, but it was cool out. Took about 15 mins to get our food. I had the bison burger and my wife had the fish and chips. Both were excellent. Another couple said the lobster grilled cheese is their favorite thing in town. I didn't try it, but it sounds good. If you want something quick but tasty, this is a good place to get it.

My wife is gluten sensitive and this was the first time she has had fish and chips in a long time. All of the food was amazing and our family of 7 highly recommend! James and Kate were so friendly

Don't believe bad reviews! NOT TRUE! James, the owner, personally greeted us. He was very sweet and personable during our entire visit in his restaurant. We like James's professionalism, efficiency and food! It was very cool learning that he actually has a perfect palate which makes perfect tasting dishes for his customers! While in college, James told us he worked as a server and instinctively knew when a plate wasn't right and had no qualms in telling the cooks before dropping the plate into his customers tables. He was always right! Example: when customers ordered medium rare and james knew it wasn't, the executive chef would look at it and tell him he's correct while telling line cook that meat was made wrong! Lol. We love James attention to detail and unwavering principle of serving higher quality food for his customers. We taste fresh ingredients first hand on our tongues and in our happy stomachs. Hamburger- 6.5 oz of good quality beef which was hand pressed and cooked to perfection. This juicy burger was one of the best we've ever eaten! Very moist ! Came with lettuce, pickle, onion and tomato. Choice of cheddar, American, Swiss, pepper jack cheese. Fries served with it too! $12.50 (5 stars) Tuna Salad- Salad greens mixed with fresh veggies, Parmesan cheese and a hella delicious hone made tuna salad mixed with just a touch of mayonnaise. It was crazy awesome! $11.50 (5 stars) When in West Yellowstone, don't miss this local gem ! We're coming back!

Excellent service and food! We stopped in this little cafe on our way to The Grand Tetons. It's slightly off the main stretch but we'll worth the additional 2-3 minutes. The service was top notch and friendly. The food was seasoned perfectly and delicious! I loved the Eggs Benedict. We left feeling like locals and will definitely be back.

Great place to go while waiting for my flight to arrive. The owner is super friendly and nice. As others have said, it's a one man show. The owner runs back and forth between the kitchen and getting orders. He tells you ahead of time it may take a while. I ordered the lobster roll and it was great, different then I've ever had before but great.. The food came out a lot quicker than I expected and prices were very reasonable.

One of few venues that would take reservations of this size group. They have a good amount of indoor seating. We sat on the umbrellaed patio, near the musician, just around the corner of the bar from games like cornhole. They were busy, but service was attentive. Many of us had craft beers and cocktails. Everyone was pleased, but i could not list all the beverages for you. We had at least one yummy fresh arugula salad with sirloin cooked-to-order and a lot of flavorful bacon, blue cheese crumbles, green onion, tomatoes, balsamic glaze, and thick "Texas" toast. We shared a number of the many appetizers: Crispy-coated sweet-chili Thai Shrimp were rather small but quite tasty. The tray of nachos was a glorious mess of beans, sauces and crema, mixed melty cheeses, olives, and meat ... i think we got the rich ground "buffalo". The "buffalo balls" were even messier: meatballs in deep gravy over mashed potatoes smothered in sautéed onions and mushrooms. We had "chicken "bites" with two of their yummy flavorings. The soft pretzels and cheese were long thick almost-loaves. And i completely lost track of the mains: several of their loaded burgers and overloaded tacos. The star was the 12oz medium-rare ribeye, topped with herb butter & demi glacé, loaded garlic redskin mashed potatoes, & thick garlic toast. This was a great immersion in great food, drink, ant atmosphere. The $44 ribeye was one of the top-two steaks we had during our trip. (July 2026). Pro tip: every steak is town was good, even the bargains you can find with a little hunting. But be sure to pay a little more once or twice to get the best.

The photos looked amazing, so after we checked in, we drove a few blocks to the place. Parking is limited but we luckily scored a spot. Atmosphere is very cool, bar/restaurant like with sports playing on large TVs throughout. It was kind of warm in there...not sure if they had a working A/C or if it just couldn't keep up with the bodies inside. There was a wait to be seated but not too bad. Maybe 15 mins and the place was packed. We were seated at a bar-like table between the actual bar seating and tables. The waitress was nice and had personality but was a bit stressed out and a little testy after we asked about our food 30+ mins after ordering it. Even the drinks took a long time to be served. I finally gave up and ran to the restroom...of course the food came as soon as I left. It works that way a lot for me. lol The drinks were good - the food was pretty good. Prices are expensive here, but pretty much on par with the rest of the restaurants in town. It's a tourist town in high season and they all know it. We determined not to come back for the next day's meals based on the slow speed of service and try different places in town instead.

Old Town Cafe was our pick since it seemed to have a variety of different dishes, including options without meat, and the prices seemed reasonable compared to some nearby competitors. The ambiance is casual with two different dining rooms and a few seats at the bar. We both enjoyed our meals - the trout entree and the chicken bacon pesto sandwich. Nothing fancy but they did the job and had generous portions. The huckleberry lemonade, a local drink, was also a refreshing surprise that wasn't too sweet. I definitely recommend giving this a try if you want to try something unique to the area. I'm all about casual dining, especially after a long day of activities, but will note that the waitress wasn't the friendliest and approached our table and asked how we wanted to pay the bill (one check or split) while I was only half finished with my meal. I definitely left rushed to finish and ended up taking my dinner roll to go to eat on my walk out.
