How is it I just discovered this place? Very good breakfast and well priced. The service was speedy even though they were super busy. Definitely worth supporting this business. I will be back soon.

Made the banana pancakes into to a combo, which was perfect amount for two people.

The food was good. The scrambled eggs were a little greasy for me. My son loved his banana pancakes. The added fruits were fresh. The service was okay. The ambiance was okay too. With my limited time we ordered, ate, and paid within 40 minutes. Service was fast. I'm rating it 4 because I noticed the servers touching the toast with their bare hands after touching dirty dishes.

Service - A+ (friendly, fast, welcoming, food comes out quickly) Food - we have only come here for breakfast several times. I want to come for lunch as the menu looks amazing. Scrambled eggs with ham - with a side of tomatoes. Delicious. Quinoa bowl with two eggs over medium - comes with potatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms, avocado, quinoa, shredded cheese. You have the option of bacon or ham - I always choose diced ham. This is my absolutely favorite item on the menu. All their drinks were fantastic - black coffee (strong), vanilla latte (great) served in a Christmas mug (fun!), hot chocolate (great), hot honey ginger tea (very very yummy). The toast is served slathered in butter and with a tiny side of grape jelly. The grape jelly is AMAZING. I could eat an entire vat of that jelly by itself!!!! Highly recommend this place - it's off the beaten path restaurant. It's located on the corner/street side of Cerritos nestled within a small business park.

Cute lil hole in the wall. Seems like a local spot. Casual dining, attentive staff, fast service. A place where the usuals come serving the community and service folk. Very huge portions, shouldn't leave hungry. Good prices during these times. Mom n pop spot.

Hidden place, cute atmosphere stopped in on a whim. First off, great service as I came in close to closing but they would not let me leave and happily served me with a smile (I try really hard not to be that person coming in right at closing). The breakfast options look great so I'll need to return with the fam some morning. Ordered an Ortega Melt as that one of my lunch staples, on point. :)

We ordered the matzo ball soup, hot pastrami on sourdough, and a key lime pie tart--and everything was delicious. The matzo balls were SO good that I ended up ordering a larger one to take home! The hot pastrami was hands down one of the best I've had--so flavorful, tender, and they give you a generous amount. The bakery is honestly a little overwhelming--in the best way! There are SO many options that you can easily get lost trying to decide what to take home. Thankfully, our server was incredibly nice, kind, and helpful with our selections. We sat on the patio with our dogs, which was perfect. The enclosed roof provided some much-needed shade and helped keep us comfortable in the heat. Great food, generous portions, friendly service, and a fun bakery to explore. We'll definitely be back

Although it appeared busy, my party was seated right away and the host was friendly and welcoming. The menu has many good options from both the breakfast and regular menu. The restaurant seem to have quite a few specialties. I opted for a Reuben sandwich with pastrami. It was filling and delicious. The rye bread was grilled and the cheese was nice and milky. I ordered it with onion rings, which I highly recommend. The person with me had the ribeye steak. At first it looked disappointing because it was on the thinner side, but it turned out to be very tasty. For dessert we had the challah bread pudding, which was very delicious . We were pretty full, but wanted to try other items. So we ordered the matzo ball soup and wings for dinner later on. The soup was simple but really good and really comforting. The wings were meaty and had a nice kick to it. I'm glad we ordered those to go. Overall we were satisfied and would return.

It's my absolute favorite breakfast burrito in the area. I get it with eggs over medium- comes with chorizo, potatoes, cheese and bacon. Great portion, amazing texture and the flavor is on point from start to finish. You can actually taste each component instead of everything turning into one salty breakfast blob. Every bite has something going on in the best way. Seasoned perfectly. Chef's kiss. The homemade salsa is fire too. Spicy, flavorful and exactly what the burrito needs. It cuts through the richness, wakes everything up and makes the whole thing even better. Dangerous stuff honestly, because now the burrito feels incomplete without it. I believe they got a mild and hot. Fries were bomb too. I ask for extra seasoning and they come through. The ketchup was also weirdly good, chilled and delicious. Could be Heinz, could be homemade, could be magic. Either way, I want more of it. The vibe's chill and down to earth. The people here are genuinely great imo. Friendly, easygoing and consistent every time I've stopped by. You place your order, they give you a ticket and you pay when it's ready. They also have a fun drink selection, including Calypso drinks and Stewart's root beer in cans and glass bottles. I respect a deli that gives the drink fridge some effort. There's seating when you walk in and more seating in the back area of the deli. Parking can be hit or miss and the spot is easy to pass by, but that breakfast burrito is worth circling the plaza for. I've done it. I'll do it again. Easy recommendation, the consistency of their food and service is on another level. I'm excited for my next haircut.

I loved mine, and the lady at the register offered to adjust the sweetness level for me if it wasn't up to par. Thankfully, it was right on the money! The Tonkatsu was the sole dish we shared, and we both agreed it was delicious! I've had this dish at other places and more often than not, it is usually greasy since it's fried. This was not the case. I don't even think they use panko breadcrumbs. I'm guessing they use corn flakes, but it WORKS and gives the perfect crisp to the protein! The salad and rice were also a good portion to share if you're not starving. The restaurant is very casual and has a laid back vibe. The cashier taking our 5-party order was nice and very helpful. We got our coffee orders fairly quickly and those were all tasty (i.e. the Blondie, Cafe de Olla, and a couple of their Matcha Cloud drinks). Food-wise... as someone who's worked in food service, it was honestly a mixed bag. I got Chilaquiles which itself was tasty but the sliced avocado on the side was severely browning and was a red flag being served that for a $18 dish. I flagged it to the food runner that the avocado they served me looked rough, and she came back with more avocado in varying degrees of browning. I didn't feel the need to make a fuss because being served more of the same low quality avocado told me all I needed to know. It's a safe assumption they pre-cut their avocados ahead of service but don't consider that avocados brown. Speaking to the food my family ordered, I heard the breakfast tacos and french toast were good. My parents shared the 2x2 with a side of fruit and expressed the same sentiment that the fresh produce they were served was old, not fresh. Another miss. I don't write reviews often and I don't want to rag on a small business, but there's a clear theme with my dining experience that management and kitchen staff should reconsider their fresh produce handling and do better. 3/5
