Fanstastic subs, they really don't hold back. Better be hungry if you're coming here!

Genoa and Provolone on a wedge

Easily the best sandwich shop in the tristate area. I found it because it was about a mile from my dentist. Now I'm addicted. First time I got Genoa, provolone on a wedge. Then chicken cutlet with blt. Just the best bread and fresh ingredients. I just stop if you're anywhere in the vicinity. Meaning within 50 miles :)

Sub was good but really wet

Came to this place for lunch with a few co-workers of mine. I ordered the MTA on a wedge with the sauce on the side. I got the sandwich and it was massive but really soggy. It was soaked in oil and dripped all over the place. Portions = Massive Flavors = Basic Quality = Fair If you are looking for something basic and fast come here. If you want a quality sandwich that won't leave you feeling like you soaked up a gallon of oil then go somewhere else.

I really have nothing bad to say about this place except that it gets very crowded and there is no order in the line. There are people all over and you don't know if they ordered yet, or if they are waiting to pay. The food is always on point. The staff is usually pretty happy and helpful. Their breakfast sandwiches are the best around and their lunch sandwiches are just as good. Its right across from the firehouse, so the name is perfect. The prices are fair. The coffee is very good. Parking can be a problem at any time you try to stop in. Besides that, 4 stars all the way. Good to very good deli.

This is the best deli in the area in my opinion. Excellent wedges and great service. I thought the service was pleasant as well.

I have gone with the suggested combos, the Cobb Chop, the Avocago, the Mexicana, the Chopped Asian, and the Chimichurri Steak. Most feature chicken, the Falafel-Osophy is their vegetarian offering and it is one of the best. The only one I might not care to repeat is the Chimichurri Steak, the flavor was great, the beef was a bit chewy. If you like spicy they have options. The portion size is good, and worth the price. I am starting to recognize the staff, which to me is a good thing, suggesting less turnover than a lot of places. There's a frequent flyer program that will get you a free salad after about 8-10 orders. There are four or five tables for four, and a counter with hightop chairs for solo diners. I wish they had a two top, as I do not care to sit so high, and I usually take a table. Most customers takeaway, so there is usually plenty of space, even when the place is humming. Recommended.

They were generous with the breaded chicken cutlet bites. In hindsight I should have only dressed half the salad so I could save the rest for dinner or next day lunch. The portion is big, too much for me at one time but I had dumped the dressing already on all the salad so no saving what I couldn't eat. BTW the dressing was very tasty, more barbecue than zesty. Considering the size and ingredients I think $13.45 is a fairly reasonable price. Once you tax on the delivery service we used, taxes, tip it was $18. I would order again as there were many other salads the peaked my interest.

We found street parking since we came in around 6p. The restaurant was fairly empty but it filled up midway through our dinner. It's lively and nicely decorated. We ordered drinks first, and the cocktail menu had some nice options. Too sweet for my taste so I ordered wine. Simple collection to choose from. Then we had the lamb meatballs. They were very good, especially with the sauce. Not gamey. The fried artichoke was definitely a hit with the dipping sauce. Some of the pieces were a little too dry and I didn't taste much artichoke overall. The roasted romaine was a nice take an a Caesar salad. Grilled asparagus is self explanatory. The pizza was really good but I avoid gluten now so I only had 2 bites; husband loved it. I had the scallops which were too rubbery for my taste. I was hungry so I finished the whole plate after another round of drinks. The staff was attentive and professional. There were smiles at our arrival as well as departure. We were very happy with the experience here. We will come again!!
