Best Deli everrrrrr. Sandwiches are amazing!! I order from them every week. Must go with the wedge. They are humongous! Firehouse never short changes you on meat. A wedge can last me multiple meals!! Sandwiches are the highest quality. My favorite is the Nynex wedge. The honey turkey is tasty, not dry and much higher quality than other turkey sandwiches I've had. Customer service is also top notch. Always treats their customers well and takes care of them. Highly highly recommended. Also absolutely LOVE the chipotle chicken panini. Huge Subs! Very tasty. Ordered the grilled chicken to be healthy and was expecting mediocre grilled chicken. I was surprised. The chicken was piled high, marinated in an amazing sauce and served between a very large "wedge." Excellent. Prices are good for lower Fairfield County. Someone else picked it up so I can't comment on the cleanliness of the joint. read more

What's not to love about this place????? I used to order from this place daily when I worked at the bakery nearby......Boy I miss it!!!!! Basically on the NY/CT border this place has the best wedges in the area hands down!!!!! For the price you are getting extreme value. The wedges are enough for lunch and dinner. I grew up with Firehouse Deli. Honest food from the bread, to the meats and cheeses, salads, and their hot plates. I've honestly never been to a better deli in CT. The Mr. C is my all time favorite. But in all honesty it doesn't matter if you get the Mr. C, Back draft, lethal weapon (more favorites) or a bacon egg and cheese. Everything is good.. So good I drive from Trumbull to Byram every week for nothing else but a great sandwich from a deli that has NEVER let me down. On a side note.. Firehouse deli in Fairfield is not related in anyway. Please don't get excited like I did, there is no comparison. read more

They have some of the most unique names and combinations that I have ever come across. I really love this place, the food is excellent and fresh. But the last 6 times I tried to place orders from here, I was put on hold for 10-12 min. at a time then hung up on. I used to order from here all the time but the person taking orders is not great at all. And they don't seem to care about customers no longer being able to order from them. It's not worth the attitude from the order taker girl, I will miss it though. read more

Hi my experience with firehouse deli so far it's good I understand that some people it's grumpy but the owner and some of the workers are friendly I find out that they have some other cafes around the area like white plains , rye and also Scarsdale they have a small version of the menu but overall it's good you can still get a wrap , roll or panini but no the wedge you might be able to find out the addresses of this locations in the main deli in Greenwich like I did read more

Not only are the breakfast sandwiches totally out of this world but the salads for lunch were a delicious surprise. My salad was packed full of meat and fresh greens and apples. In general this place is great but... having to wait 2 HOURS & 30 minutes for ONEE WEDGE sandwich that wasn't even made correctly was very and HIGHLY disappointing and appalling. I get it, the kitchen gets backed up but to call 3 times and not even apologize when the food got delivered is a DISGRACE to your business! When I took a bite of the sandwich, it assaulted my taste buds. The fact that i ordered a sandwich that comes with bacon and then see ONE slice of bacon is revolting. I asked for mayo on both sides, and guess what? no mayo was put in on ANY SIDE.. Then the nerve to even charge me for this foul sandwich was, INSULTING because I had no choice BUT to be forced to even eat the something that I couldn't enjoy eating. I will NOT be ordering from you guys again nor my office because you clearly can't even be professional enough to call me to let me know theres even a long wait for my order after the 2nd call, and professional enough to apologize when you delivered the food DESPICABLE. Firehouse, the farthest deli from GHS on this list, is located off of exit 2 on I-95, just past Burgers, Shakes and Fries. They serve rolls and wedges of a myriad of sandwiches, plus Panini and various chips and drinks. There is no sitting room inside, in fact it is quite a small building, but there are 2 benches right outside on the sidewalk if you wish to sit there. I personally would take it back to the high school or eat it in the car because there aren't really any good places to sit down and eat close by. This is certainly the deli where you will get the most bang for your buck, size wise. The rolls are so big I can barely fit my mouth around them, and the wedges... To be honest I can't even finish a whole wedge from Firehouse in one sitting. To make it even better, all their sandwiches are delicious. They certainly trump anything closer to home in taste and volume. My favorite sandwiches from there are the Real Deal Holyfield, the Lethal Weapon and The Untouchable. Although to be fair, those are the only sandwiches I have had from there, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if every sandwich on the menu was my favorite.
