I only drive this truck on the weekends four wheeling and one of the welds broke recently. I dropped by and joked with these guys that I expect a warranty repair. Very fast and efficient. When I had an issue with my catalytic converter getting stolen, he was ready to walk me through the steps to getting a replacement. From phone call to completion was 2hrs. Amazingly fast! That also included an anti theft system so the dirty rats can't do it again. I am more than satisfied with the results and am thankful for the more than reasonable pricing. I went to Firehouse so they can install anti-theft device for my catalytic converter. Eric, the manager helped me. He suggested welding rebar to my converter for $400. I talked him down to $300, however, rebar is old technology. I went to 2 other muffler shops and was told rebar does not deter thieves. One muffler shop demonstrated to me how the rebar is useless. With an old Sawzall blade, they were to cut the rebar and exhaust pipe in seconds. They also told me when they would use rebar 6 years ago, they would charge only $150 not $400 like Firehouse wanted. Firehouse is dishonest and will sell you old technology at a high rate. Don't believe me? Go see what they use at Firehouse and compared it to what the other shops are using, PLEASE AVOID! read more

What a great place! I came by to have a bracket welded and. "Bill" was able to weld my bracket prices and had some great stories. He stayed open to finish my job. I'll go back when I need another bracket welded. Apparently the location was an old firehouse hence the name. The shop was neat and clean. Called to ask about a specific muffler for my truck, the brand I was looking for the gentleman told me it sucked, so since I don't know a lot about mufflers I genuinely asked why he felt that way and the difference between the 2 brands, and I was told they didn't have time to explain and rushed me off the phone. Since I'm the one shopping and paying for what I want, I feel I deserve a few minutes of why one brand sucks compared to the other brand you're trying to sell me on. 30 years of experience doesn't mean being rude to customers who are genuinely trying to find out the difference, especially if I'm going to pay that kind of money. read more

This is the worst place to go to. Your suppose to go a shop to fix the issue and not come out with another problem. I took my car in with a check engine light showing it needs a catalytic converter and i pay 1100 bucks, then when i get my car returned i feel the car is running funny. Later the next week i come to find out it needs a new computer which i believe they fused it. I'm not a review writer and this is my first ever Yelp review, but I was so happy with the service that I received at Firehouse Muffler I felt compelled to let others know what they can expect from this muffler shop. I've had my 2002 VW Jetta since it rolled off the showroom floor and I've always wanted after-market exhaust, but I didn't know anything about it and I figured it would cost an arm and a leg. 10 years later I decided that it was time for an exhaust upgrade no matter what the cost. I researched muffler shops on Yelp and settled on Firehouse because I wanted to patronize a local shop that wasn't a chain. The 3 previous reviews were positive ones so I decided to give them a try. I went over there and spoke to Travis. He was very knowledgable and immediately knew what I wanted and how to do it. He suggested a Magnaflow muffler and explained that it would give my VR6 a "throaty growl". That's exactly what I wanted so I told him to go ahead. He told me that because it was late in the afternoon that he wouldn't have time to do it that day but that I could bring it in any day and that it would take about two hours. I brought it in on a Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. when they opened and Travis was there. The owner was there as well and I asked him if I could add some tailpipes to the muffler that they were going to install. He took a look at my existing system and determined that not only could they add tailpipes but that they could do it without cutting into the existing bumper on the Jetta. With their knowledge and expertise they knew exactly what I wanted before I did. I was quoted $365.00 installed, which was far less than what I expected. I figured it be at least $1,000.00 which goes to show how much I didn't know about the process. Being as ignorant as I was they really could have charged me whatever they wanted and I probably would have paid it, but these guys are fair and professional and I feel like they're not out to gouge their customers. At any rate, they informed me that it would take about two hours to install and about two hours later they called me to let me know that it was done. I picked up my car shortly after that and I was pleasantly surprised at the job they had done. The tailpipes looked great and, even better, the sound was exactly as described. It sounds great and now the 6 cylinder engine sounds just like knew it could. If I had known how reasonable the cost would be and how smooth the transaction was going to go I would've had it done years ago. These guys really know what they're doing and I would recommend them to anyone who wants after-market exhaust done right for the right price. I'm considering buying a Mini Cooper and, if I do, the first stop I'll make after I'm done at the dealership will be Firehouse Muffler so they can work their muffler magic on my new car. Thanks for your help and your time guys. You knew exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier with the results. For what it's worth I give Firehouse Muffler my highest recommendation which, because I'm really particular about my car, is not something that I take lightly. read more

I called yesterday to see about an appointment to bring my car in because I had a bad O2 sensor that was stripped. My usual mechanic couldn't get it off, and sent me here. On the phone, the person I talked to said it could be $150, if they had to cut out the part and weld it, so I was fully expecting a big pain in the ass. I got there and the guy was outside on the phone, but had me pull it right into the bay and looked at it right away. He said it was going to be a few minutes to let it cool off, but he started working on it right away. He got the part off, got the other one installed, cleared my codes and only charged me $50. I think I was there about 45 minutes total. The shop was probably the cleanest auto shop I've ever been in, and the guy was very cool and obviously knew what he was doing. I was pleasantly surprised by the final cost too. I would totally recommend this place, it's a little hard to get in and out of because it's on a busy corner, but very much worth it. The CAT Converter was stolen from my truck, while I attended church. I purchased a new converter and had it welded into place. When I returned home, I checked their work and observed the nuts holding the front exhaust system were also welded, making the system locked, requiring additional work, and they told me it required more $$$. I'M a disabled Viet nam, now old and crippled. When I protested, the owner called me names, and was a shame to any branch of military. I physically can't fight any longer, (the owner being a lot younger) I left without their purposeful mistake being remedied. Went in and paid with my credit card and was told it was declined and so I paid with my debit card. Later I called my credit card company to find out why my credit card was declined and was told they charged me. That the transaction went thru. Went to talk to the owner and he said that he would refund me my money if the transaction went thru. Went back to tell him the transaction went thru and he asked me for the receipt to show him. Of course I don't have the receipt because I was told transaction didn't go thru. So I ended up paying $500 wtf so pissed. Don't ever go to this place.
