I frequent this Firehouse location quite often and every time I go inside I'm always greeted with the same courtesy and warmth as the first time. I was surprised at how good their subs were the first time in and at how affordable their prices was. The staff and manager always get my order exactly how I like it even if I feel adventurous and change it up on them. The entire place is really clean and neat as well, especially the bathrooms. I am in love with this place. My boyfriend and I use to go to the one in Valencia every time we drove through there because we love the subs. I was concerned that the location here would not be as good. But let me say the subs are over the top good. I work near there and I cant get enough. First off, this place is managed so well. I happened to see the owner, Mike, who was such a nice guy. The sandwich was one of the best sandwiches that I had in years. Oh wow!! I thought by calling my order in ahead of time I would not have to wait. I was wrong! I called my order I. (Small ham and cheese sandwich) and took my time getting there to pick it up. Once I got there I paid for my food and then waited 14 minutes while they made everyone else's food. Once they realized I was still waiting they tried telling me my order was on the rack for phone orders. I let them know that I did not order a bacon on wheat. Despite some negative reviews I decided to give this place a try but skip the first couple weeks of opening rush and adjusting. I ordered what I originally wanted to try here which was their meatball sub. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was constantly asking if I needed any help or how the food was. The ordering was simple and the prices are a bit higher but nothing I don't spend already at other places for quality. The sub was definitely much better than anywhere I had a meatball sub. Bread was nice and soft and the presentation was amazing. They have a wide variety of sauces as well if you so choose which is nice. Overall it was a very good sub which I didn't mind paying 10 bucks for with a drink. I plan to come back an order what I usually get at another sub place and see how they compare soon. 4 stars simple because I got asked way way to many times how everything was. Unfortunately I was Hoping that this firehouse subs would be as good as the 10+ visits i have made to different firehouse subs in Vegas. But no... the sandwiches are lacking the correct amount of meat. when paying 9+ dollars for a sandwich it should have more than one thin layer of meat. this is not what i experienced in Vegas at a few different locations. Additionally the staff is clearly inexperienced the first time i went the manager/owner, not sure, was scolding the cashier for not even trying. the second time we Visited we ordered fine but this time the two people making the sandwiches call out #4 i look and that is our number. My wife and i were splitting a sandwich i hop up with my number walk to the counter and confirm this is #4? they say yes and i take it to my seat. my wife looks at it and says this is not wheat bread we ordered wheat. i realize and take the sandwich back up and ask again this is number 4? cause we ordered wheat bread and this in white see? as i show the receipt. No that's yours one person says without looking at my receipt. I say again this is not wheat. then they realize that is order 6 not 4. The lady takes the sandwich and brings it behind the counter and walks all the way around and takes it to the guy with number 6.?? We took that sandwich to our table i almost touched it but my wife noticed before we touched it. BUT did they know that or even ask? Nope. we did get our sandwich which was good flavored. not enough meat. the best part of the visit was the next person has there order called out by staff, and at that point there was only us and the other guy #6 in the store otherwise, "Sandwich for Jeff" she says.
