I'm not a typical sandwich person but I needed something that would taste good w/o having to warm it up. Plus we are going to be on the road and this is convenient. Proceeds of sales go to a firehouse which is cool. I ordered the turkey with Swiss cheese, lettuce, mustard and no Mayo. They put mayonnaise on my sandwich even tho I didn't want it. Staff even repeated my desire. Staff are masked, gloved and friendly. Parking lot.

It's ok. Just a sandwich place. The amount of meat on the sandwich was lacking for $8+ with chips and drink was over $12. It's clean & nice plenty of hot sauce spices to add to your sandwich.

As I entered the café, I saw a regular who hangs out there all the time. After I ordered, I joined him. I ordered a blueberry smoothie and a blueberry muffin. I do enjoy the taste of blueberries. Both orders were very good. Their homemade muffins have a strudel top. Yum! They also make a nice moist scone. Very relaxing to sit in there. They have regular tables and chairs or high tops. There is also a couch if you prefer that. Of course they have their outdoor seating and many people were doing that as well. Even for a Sunday it was fairly crowded. Free refills on their regular drinks. Shared parking lot.

The first time I stopped in for a glass of wine just to check it out -- they were about to close, but the staff was so kind and welcoming. I even saw a roadrunner on the patio, which honestly felt like the perfect Arizona welcome moment I went back yesterday after a 4-mile hike at Jewel of Cave Creek and had a turkey, avocado, and bacon sandwich with chips -- simple but absolutely delicious. Fresh, satisfying, and exactly what I needed after being out on the trails. Prices are very reasonable too. The vibe here is what makes it special. It's busy but relaxed, cozy but open, and you order at the counter which keeps everything easy and casual. They offer coffee, wine, pastries, sandwiches, salads, and more -- perfect for a quick bite or a chill afternoon. I especially love the setting surrounded by the little Cave Creek shops. It has such a peaceful, welcoming energy and is a great spot to sit outside, enjoy lunch, and soak in the Arizona sunshine. Whether you're hiking nearby or just exploring the area, this is a wonderful place to stop. I'll definitely be back

I did order the wrap version and had two different types each day. I will say the wraps were both good but my only thing was that I didn't expect for them to be cooked and be so hot since I don't ever eat sub sandwiches and especially since it was super hot outside after already working physically for many hours before we ate lunch there. The one thing you should know though is that the server that you place the order with is very nice and the food was good and the other guys with me did love their own sub sandwiches and the chips. I did like the simple little pink lemonade drink and this place was not anything negative at all for sure.

In response to their poor attempt at a "we're so sorry" comment, obviously this is a trend at this location and other reviews reflect my same sentiments. They don't care in the slightest and aren't doing anything about it or reviewing with their staff. I personally have not had this issue here before so it seems they've instructed staff to not give more than 5 slices of meat per giant sandwich. Yes I counted as they sliced it but I did not say anything given I knew they'd say "we have to charge for extra meat" and I'm not paying more for an already $20 sandwich that should have enough meat on it to begin with. Lesson learned, next time I'll just go to the grocery store and buy the ingredients to make my own and spend less than they're charging for a sandwich that's worth it.

I go only with the chicken, green chilies, jalapeño ranch dressing and peppers. The rest I skipped. They slice the sandwich the right way, and man, it's damn good. People are very friendly. There is just one line for ordering and then you seat yourself. They have a four or five tables inside and then some outside. It was a nice day so we sat outside. Hopefully they have umbrellas for the summer months. The gentleman that took our order was quite friendly and our sandwiches were out in under 10 minutes. They have a nice selection of meats, breads , and salads. We both chose the cranberry turkey sandwich and it was delicious. Mine was on fresh sourdough with a generous amount of turkey and fresh veggies. Two 6 inch sized sandwiches came to a little over $24. They do a surcharge if you use a credit card which I will avoid next time by using cash. I don't love this and wish businesses would just include it in the price of the food, however it is minimal. The service was very friendly and the quality of the food was worth the price.

I did notice that the meat was sitting on top of a toasted slice of bread after I got halfway through it lol!! go ahead We were expecting a sit down experience with a waitress. That that's not how it is. You can sit down at any table you want, look over the menu, which is up at the register. There's one posted on the wall and there's paper ones you can take back to your table. There is no service. You go in and you order what you want to eat, pay for it and then you go to the bar pick up your food, and then service table to get your drinks, cutlery, sauces, napkins, etc. Make sure you get lots of napkins if you got the barbecue and sauce. You will be using lots of napkins. We got up three times to go get napkins lol! Everybody working there that I spoke to, really outgoing, friendly welcoming people. There's tables of every sizes and shapes as well as booths. The young woman who took our order did come to our table several times to make sure that everything was good. We had a little two year-old with us celebrating her birthday. She ate two of the brisket slices all by herself. All in all, this is a good place to go for lunch on Sunday. Especially if you like barbecued meats. The ribs were outstanding as well. Mostly meat. But you could have them with that on you them. They ask you when you're ordering how you'd like your ribs and brisket. We also had an order of french fries and they were pretty good. It's $18 for one meat and $24 for two meats. You also get two sides. It's a lot of food so we ended up sharing two plates. I forgot to get one of the paper menus. So I can't resubmit picture of them it. The prices have gone up, from the photos posted on this Yelp so be prepared for that. All in all it's pretty reasonable just don't expect any service. I still left them a good tip. I appreciate that someone came to check on us several times and they even comped me a free tea I guess because we spent a lot of money and it already left a nice tip. I really appreciated that. we ended up going back and ordering more food. If you're someone who enjoys good barbecue, this is a good place to go. I really have to complement the pork ribs. They were really well done lots of meat almost no fat and the sauces were pretty good. I apologize for not taking pictures of the food. it's challenging when dealing with a two-year-old lol!!
