I loved Sourdough & Co. I was so happy to stop by and try this new business. It is located near Target so there is plenty of parking available. We ordered at the counter and my mom and I both got the turkey cranberry sandwich. It was so delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is not too much seating available inside but we were able to find a spot outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cashier was super happy to help us and take our order and added to the great experience at Sourdough & Co.

Very disappointing. Smallest sandwich ever. See pic below. Ordered the 6 inch French dip. $13.00 plus 1.05 tax , plus .42 CC surcharge =$14.46 Before I got my highly anticipated sandwich the credit card machine asked for a tip, so I added 2.00 = $16.46 [[HIGHLIGHT]]Smallest sandwich ever. And they were busy to boot. Never again will I see this place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] James, your excuse that "it is a sliced baguette" somehow justifies the size and cost/value of the sandwich is absurd.

    Yum.

Was in the mood for a sandwich. Decided to give this place a shot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small establishment, but we had a table to eat at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I thought it was a great sandwich. I would go back again. I don't like bland sandwich's like jimmy john, etc... they also had soups, but I didn't try any.

Items made completely wrong even though the receipt is very clear. No chicken on the Caesar salad. Greek salad completely incorrect - they did not listen to any directions. I could not even eat it since they put tomatoes onions and also ham instead of chicken.

We were looking for the next best super sandwich location. Almost found it here. The good: flavorful and delicious turkey provolone choice. The generic: I was hoping for a new locally made sandwich shop...I found another corporate franchisee overwhelmed by Scottsdales clientele. This is pretty much a Jersey Mikes clone...sans slicer and "Mikes Way." Not bad, but no local flavor. Gentrified packaging and atmosphere. Friendly staff which can be a rarity in Scottsdale, and our dining area was very clean. Really good beer, just not 5 star greatness.

I met some friends for lunch today. We ordered salads and clam chowder in a sourdough bowl. It was a wonderful day out so we chose an outdoor table. It was actually very warm in the sunshine. Staff are very nice and after we ordered they told us they would take our food to the table. On our menu was Southwest salad with chicken, Chef's salad and clam chowder in a sourdough bowl. We grabbed napkins and a table outside. Service was quick and came with plastic utensils. The food was good and fresh. The clam chowder brought back memories of San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf chowder in a sourdough bowl. In fact, I asked the employee where the sourdough was from and she confirmed it was from California. The bread was warm and crusty. It was perfect for dipping into the very hot soup. Do be careful as the soup was boiling hot. We got caught up on the happenings and all bid adieu. Shared parking lot and Cox WiFi for subscribers.

I recently tried out the new sandwich place, it was great. I ordered the Italian sandwich with chips. I really enjoyed it especially the bread. I highly recommend going to try it even the cookies were incredible. I will definitely be back very soon.

4in turkey cranberry sandwich and a 6in French dip.

Second visit to this establishment, first time was at the pinnacle peak location and after that experience I should have known better. For $25 what is pictured below is what you get 2 small mediocre sandwich's that fall apart after taking a bite. Very disappointing.

    The Italian 4", warmed up

We made a same-day reservation for a party of five--three teenagers and two adults. We all have different tastes and preferences, so I was hoping the menu would have something for everyone. It absolutely did, and the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is lively yet cozy, making it easy to enjoy conversation even when the restaurant is busy. The staff was absolutely delightful from start to finish. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We started with the truffle fries and the green beans with almonds. Both were wonderful, and the truffle fries were definitely a hit! Our entrees included pastas, fish tacos, a burger, and I had a salad with added salmon. Everything was delicious. My salmon unfortunately came out undercooked, despite my request for it to be cooked through. Our waitress and the manager were incredibly gracious, kind, and genuinely apologetic. They handled everything with such care that it turned what could have been a disappointing experience into an example of exceptional customer service. As part of their above-and-beyond recovery, they treated us to their incredible house donut with the most amazing sauce. It was absolutely outstanding and is not to be missed! The salmon was cooked perfectly, which I was pleasantly surprised about since a lot of quick food places overcook proteins. Second time ordering from here I got the roasted chicken, which was also good but I liked the salmon better (personal preference). 3. The green goddess dressing is really good especially if you like dill. 4. They use real olive oil since I got that as a dressing and can taste that it's not a cheap replacement, but in fact the real thing EVOO. 5. Very clean and homemade tasting bread that comes with the salad (you have to select it during the ordering process for no extra money). Cons 1. The first time I ordered a salad here with romaine and arugula the greens to toppings ratio was great. The second time I ordered, I received too much arugula and spring mix compared to the amount of toppings they put on. It was mostly greens.

Oregano's is always a tradition for us when my dad visits, we typically go every time on his last night in town. We usually order the Oregano's Favorite salad and a large Bistro Classic, and it's something we always look forward to. We went on a Monday night and were seated right away. Everything seemed fine at first. Our salad came out, but shortly after we overheard a waitress telling a table behind us that there were issues with the pizzas and that theirs would be delayed. Since they were a large party, we didn't think much of it and assumed the kitchen was just backed up. After finishing our salad, the wait for our pizzas became very long. We had ordered a large Bistro Classic and a smaller pepperoni and black olive pizza for the kids. After a while a manager came over to apologize and explained that two of their pizza cooks had called out and the remaining employee was still in training. They eventually brought out the kids' pizza, which looked off, the crust was much thicker than Oregano's usual thin crust. We were told the Bistro Classic was still going to be a wait. When the Bistro Classic finally arrived, the manager apologized again. The pizza was burnt all around the edges, the tomatoes were thick instead of thin-sliced, and they didn't even cover the entire pizza. It looked and tasted nothing like the Bistro Classic we always order. The pizza was thick and doughy, and after trying a slice, it was clear it wasn't salvageable. The manager told us we wouldn't be charged and asked if we wanted to keep it, but we declined. She explained the employee in training was having trouble. We asked if they could make another one to go, hoping someone more experienced could prepare it. They also offered me a glass of wine on the house, but it never came. A few minutes later we were told an oven had gone out, so at that point we just said forget the pizza altogether. Our waitress had disappeared during the chaos so we actually thought maybe she was back there rolling pizza dough. When we saw her again she apologized and mentioned they were out of certain ingredients. The manager offered a free dessert, but my husband and dad declined. Given how long everything had already taken and knowing the kitchen was struggling, we didn't want to wait even longer for something else that might also come out wrong. We asked for the check. When the bill came, the Bistro Classic was removed, but our waitress brought out another Bistro Classic to go -- the one we had asked for before being told the oven was out. That was nice. We took it home and unfortunately, it still wasn't much better. While it wasn't burnt, it was very doughy and the ingredients still weren't what they should have been. Overall, it was just a bad experience from start to finish. Clearly, everything that could go wrong did go wrong in the kitchen -- staff calling out or no-showing, an oven going down, and running out of ingredients. We will come back during my dad's next visit and hope this was just a one-time issue, because Oregano's is usually a place we love and enjoy
