Definitely recommend! We'll be back for sure! So if you held a gun to my head and asked me to criticize SOMETHING... i could only say the portions (although perfect for me) need a little boost if I brought my husband. SO DELICIOUS- you 'could' easily over do it because it was THAT good! Options for sauce on the side are self serve and I opted for the two tangy ones - my friend went with the savory/sweet one. Brisket was tender, moist with a beautiful pink smoke ring (not as visible in the photo- but perfect in the basket)! I was offered 2 sides with my brisket & jalapeño sausage - I chose the eloté corn & cornbread. Both delicious! My friend got the brisket sandwich- served up very promptly and nice & hot! Everyone behind the counter was friendly, efficient and personable. Exactly what you're looking for for a great lunch spot! Cute colorful cactus mural- cowboy vibes, but not overly tourist - just enough to treat "out-of-towners" and locals alike. Easy going and friendly- great vibes, super cute patio and the inside is nice too. The price is very reasonable and I think a great value for the family.

I was able to get the lean brisket chopped up for my $19 sandwich. A bit pricey, but good amount of meat. I liked two of the sauces...the Smoky one and the tomato based one. The chile relleno rice was mostly dry and tasteless and needed the sauce.

The customer service was amazing! They went over and above to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The pulled pork and brisket sandwiches tasted phenomenal and the fries were delicious! Anyone who visits Cave Creek needs to have a meal or two at Cryin' Coyote!

Great food, friendly service. Great barbecue sauces and very reasonably priced. Family owned.

2 Plate Brisket & Pulled Chicken with two sides

Found this BBQ joint close to where we were staying when we got in to AZ. Grabbed a two meat plate with lean brisket & pulled chicken. The chicken was very good, but I would like a little more smoke flavor. The brisket was lean and very good. Dr. Pepper BBQ Beans: Not your traditional BBQ beans! Not overly sweet and slightly tangy. Northern white beans, diced onion and seeded jalapeno peppers in a deep and rich sauce made with Dr Pepper. They were just ok for me. Esquites Street Corn: Elote in a cup! Golden kernel corn topped with Mexican crema, cotija cheese, green onions, a little sweet BBQ rub and finished with a fresh slice of lime. I thought it was very good. Green Chile Cornbread (3pc): Lots of butter, mild hatch green chile, jack and cheddar cheese and creamed corn go into these golden muffins of love. They were very tasty

Was craving bbq and boy oh boy, we weren't disappointed. Everything including the sides was delicious. We got the pulled pork sandwich and ribs, and huge baked potaoe with brisket. Best potatoe salad I've had in a while, and the other sides of chile relleno rice and street corn were unique and flavorful. Loved that they have banana pudding for dessert. Also love the fact that they serve their sauces (brown, red and yellow) warm. Service was fast and friendly, and the owner made sure to greet us.

Wow, Wow, Wow! Most people in Phoenix talk about Little Ms BBQ as the Phoenix standard. Let me tell you, this place blows them out of the water!!!!! I have lived all over the South and sampled Carolina, Memphis and Kansas City BBQ. This ranks right at the top for BBQ I have EVER had. We visited this gem in Cave Creek on a Thursday and it concerned us the place was empty. The second we took our first bite our minds were blown. The ribs, the jalapeño sausage, the beef, the potato salad, the muffins, and the street corn are all INCREDIBLE. I could break each one down but I would need to do six reviews to do each one justice! I cannot stress this enough, if you are in the Phoenix area and love BBQ, stop what you are doing and get here now. This place is amazing. Hands down one of the 2-3 best restaurants I have reviewed in my 2 years as an elite on Yelp! Cannot wait to return! God I love this place. If I could give them a 10 I would! BTW, Tate is Adorable "FIMP" Food is my Passion

Divine bbq. So many good meats. Brisket and sausages are great. Ribs are insane. If you're with a group, get the big shared platter. Great to try everything.

Great spot to check out if you're in Cave Creek, or nearby! Great service from the start and they come up and check in on you during your visit. Food was delicious! I went with the pulled pork sandwich and added their red sauce which is warmed up (red, brown and gold are available. Not spicy in my opinion). For a side I went with two - the Chile Relleno Rice and Esquites Street Corn. The rice was good but if you're in between two, I'd go with the Esquites and then add some of their red sauce to it. Chill and laid back when I visited. Would definitely come back.

    - Friendly, helpful staff - Love the casual laid back atmosphere with picnic tables and booths. - Delicious ribs and pulled pork sandwich both were seasoned perfectly, corn bread was served warm and scrumptious - Do not skip on the dessert: Texas sheet cake was on point and so moist and addictive

Cute decor, our kids love this!

**July 2026: Wednesday Night**…read more During our Arizona road trip, my friend and I made a spontaneous stop in Cave Creek and were instantly drawn to the town's western charm. We were looking for an authentic saloon experience, and Harold's Corral seemed like the perfect fit. We came on a Wednesday evening and were seated in a booth. The place was already bustling, and there was live music that night, which made the whole atmosphere feel really lively and fun. We each enjoyed a bottle of sarsaparilla and a prime rib dinner, which was the special of the night. The food was decent, but honestly, the vibe was the real highlight for me. They have live bull riding on Wednesday and Friday evenings, which sounded really cool. We were pretty wiped out and still had an hour of driving ahead of us, so we didn't stay for that part, but it definitely made me want to come back another time. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to return on a Friday night to check out the children's mutton riding competition, which I heard is especially cute.

Patio is comfortable and cool even in summer. Far superior to Buffalo Chip in my opinion. The beer is cold and the service is generally always very good (special shoutout to River who we had today and was absolutely excellent). The food is bar food (not my favorite) but some good options are the burger and the wings. My husband likes the fried chicken. Breakfast is pretty good and the build your own Bloody Mary is nice with lots of toppings.
