This was my first time ever at a firehouse subs, this was on my hour lunch break. I got the Italian sandwich with turkey instead of ham. When I ordered the guy said it would be 5 minutes.. Okay I get that you are quoting a time frame and I am not going to really hold you to it but 20 minutes! And the thing that really irritated me was that my order was for togo and I wondered what was taking so long as I had seen a sandwich sitting on their oven in a bag. Well needless to say they never called my name and I had to go get it so it was sitting their for like 10 of my 20 minute wait. Ordered an hour ahead of time, left notes for special subs. Arrived, they weren't ready, she said she had to remake them cuz they were cold instead of hot. The sandwiches were still wrong. My sandwich was all soggy. read more

We have eaten here twice, and have been happy both times. I don't see how some of the other sandwich shops in town will compete with this place. I'm so over the long lines and steep prices of Beach Hut, Togo's is cheap with the toppings and always screws up the order, and Subway is just plain garbage. From here, we've had the Tuna, the Italian, the Turkey Ranch and Bacon, and the Sweet and Spicy Meatball - all were fantastic. read more

I came here the other day with the fam. I decided to order from a 500 calorie and under sandwich. I usually tend to order vegetarian--but, didn't see any meatless options. I brought it up to the girl ringing me up and she told me they do have at least one option--and it's on the menu. Not sure why it's not on the board, then? Anyway, we waited--and waited...other ppl that came in after us were getting their orders--so, after 15 mins of waiting, I asked an employee and was told they were working on it at that moment. I didn't complain or anything--I understand they're new and i'm sure there's a lot of kinks to work out. Anyway, as we were leaving, I presume the manager? gave us 2 coupons for free subs. That def. helped to take the bad taste out of my mouth! (Def. brought them up another star, too!) I would def. give them another chance. I wasn't wowed over by my entire experience, but, I'm always on the lookout for lunch spots in town that aren't awful and I do like that they have under 500 cal options. read more

Great atmosphere, great service and excellent food. First the atmosphere is great for kids. Fireman apparel and a fireman mural. What kid wouldn't like to eat in a firehouse! The service was warm and welcoming. Being greeted as you entered by all the staff and asking if it was our first time was great. The the NY Steamer with the Wasabi green tea hot sauce are a perfect pair. Can't wait to return to try the rest of menu and hot sauces. read more

This is the best sandwich shop in town! I always get the turkey and ham sub, and it is fantastic. The bread is always soft and fresh, there is always a good amount of meat, and the produce is always fresh ..... why go anywhere else? I can honestly say that I will never step foot into Subwat or Togos again! It might be a little more expensive, but it is worth every single penny. read more

***-The subs are great. Good flavor and fresh each time. ***-The decor is good and place is pretty clean. If you eat there, it's pleasant and everything works fine. * If you place an order line...do it right before you plan to pick it up. If you do it too early they can't find it, even though the website allows you to order several hours in advance. Ordered subs about 3:30 pm for a 6:00pm pick up. They couldn't find the order even with an order number. Evidently there is a limitation to how many orders they can view and if yours is too far back and prepaid - Sorry you are out of luck! There isn't a real effort to help, you have to "prove" that you have a prepaid order. Great subs! Horrible online experience! read more

Wow!!!!! The food could be alright if it was served in a decent amount of time! But the kids (idk if they are kids or adults but they work like children) that are working at this location are not Good employees on any level. They talk to each other the whole time, they don't have any kind of customer service skills and are oblivious to anyone in the store. Smh! Never again! read more

overall there subs are not bad, but defiantly not worth the exorbitant price they charge. I will say I am biased by Subway brand because it has helped me lose weight and is a great healthy option for the whole family, these subs are ok but not for everyday eating really high in caloric count. The quality of bread was very sub par. Chicken salad sandwich lacked basic balance of herbs and salt. We spent $20 for two sandwiches and a kids meal. I would have had a good meal across the street at LA fiesta for that. Beach hut deli and Mr. Pickles are way better. read more

We decided to step out on Subway to try Firehouse Subs. Their food is so good we have officially ended our love affair with Subway! (Sorry you had to find out like this Subway. We had a good run but sometimes things just don't work out. I hope we can still be friends.) Anyway, I love the Hook and Ladder light and hubby is crazy about the Hero sub. This place is a wonderful restaurant to eat at! Their sandwiches are amazing and the portions are large. It fills you up yet it doesn't make you feel heavy! They have several different sauces to compliment their sandwiches and they have THE drink machine that gives you over 50 different choices. My kids had a great time with the atmosphere and really enjoyed their fire hats and seeing firefighter customers. The restaurant is well kept and the service is extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely dine in here again and recommend this place to everyone!!! read more

Somewhere between 2 and 3 stars. Too bad Yelp doesn't have a 2 1/2. Basically, it's a sandwich. Nothing great about it, nothing awful. Completely forgettable. I tried both the Steamer (corned beef brisket) and the Steak & Cheese. The customer service was great and we experienced no problems. Both sandwiches were served hot and made correctly. However, they were both completely underwhelming. The bread choices consist of only white or wheat. I chose white for both (especially after cashier said it was the best option) and received a generic white bread bun, reminiscent of what you would get at a mom-and-pop deli or in a big bag at the Walmart bakery. Bland, tasteless...vaguely looking like a bread product. The meat was fine, but again fairly tasteless. As far as I can tell, there are no special sauces that you can ask for to improve the taste. The restaurant does have an array of hot sauce bottles at the front that you can use, but this is simply not practical for take-out orders. It's OK, but there are far better options for the $10+ that you will be plunking down. read more

We went for the first time for a late lunch. The menu was large but there wasn't a lot of variety or creativity. There wasn't a list of extras or choices for bread (just wheat and white.) The staff was friendly. It wasn't busy so we figured it would be quick. After we ordered we waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. Don't come here if you're in a hurry. There were more people working there than there were customers. I have no idea why it took so long. The sandwiches were ok. Nothing special. One was a little dry. I wasn't too crazy about the huge amount of shredded lettuce. Most of it was everywhere except the sandwich. Considering all the good reviews I expected something really good, not super boring and fairly tasteless. Next time I'll go to Subway or Mr. Pickles. I doubt if we'll be back to Firehouse Subs. read more
