We came here for lunch months ago and I believe the owner was there. He made our sandwich and it was stuffed with meat, heated properly, and made us crave more. Since then, we've been back twice. Both times, our sandwiches were lacking. The first time, we asked for the bread to be toasted and that was completely forgotten. The second time, we asked the bread to be toasted and two separate people were making the sandwich [unsure why that is]. This confused the staff as one toasted the inside of the bread, whereas the other put on the avocado and forgot to toast the bread so they toasted the top side of the parm bread and made the crust chewy and not as enjoyable. We really wanted to like this place. I've added a photo of the California Club Sandwich ordered. I ordered my regular order of the turkey/provolone with extra cheese, honey mustard, mayo, seasoning, vinegar, etc along with some sides of chips and a brownie for my son using Uber Eats today. What he didn't receive was extra cheese, mayo, honey mustard, seasonings or vinegar. The sandwich was also poorly assembled. The service there in person is ok but it could be better. I think the ownership or the management changed recently. I don't see the employees that I am used to. New employees are ok but slow. Now there's only one girl from the old staff and she's absolutely great. I used to make an online order and pick up within 10 minutes. Now I have to wait at least 20 minutes before I can receive my order. I don't want to go to another place for my sandwich fix because I like it here. I'm writing this review because of the tremendous customer service I received from the store associate Rob. Rob was very prompt and professional. He answered all of our questions and went above and beyond. My mother and father were in town and I had to get them the best Philly cheesesteak in Folsom! I proceeded to call the store to order the sandwiches, Rob answered the phone and was really patience with all the substitution's and different requests I made for the different sandwiches. He really took the time to help us, and I didn't feel rushed at all. I will always recommend jersey mikes to all my friends, family, and co workers but now I can speak about their outstanding customer service because of rob! Trying to do the right thing, I completed Jersey Mikes online comment card and received an automated response that the customer relations team would get back to me within 48 business hours. We got some sandwiches last weekend from Jersey Mike's and they were spectacular! Well made and delicious. The guys there that day were friendly and professional. I went there again today to get the same sandwiches. Everything was terrific again except.......the girl who finished off making our sandwiches with the produce didn't change her gloves between doing the cash register and making the sandwiches. This was kind of cringy as she was touching the produce with contaminated gloves. Not clean food handling. This may be a training issue to remind employees of safe food handling. This review would be a five if it wasn't for the young lady not changing her gloves. I hope next time We go there clean food handling will be the norm. Next time I will speak up. read more

So even though I am a good home cook, sometimes I just want a sandwich. I really enjoy Jersey Miles's because it is fresh and tasty. I usually get the Italian sun and I love it because it is not drenched in oil and vinegar like some other establishments. Yea, there is an oil and vinegar dressing g, but it is the perfect amount- it stays in the sandwich and does not drip onto the front of your blouse. I used to go into my dry cleaners and have to tell him the stain was from abc sandwich shop- he just laughed and said he would take care of it, but still, who needs to do that??? I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is the best chain sandwich place out there. I met the franchise owner a few years back and he takes his business very serious. He mentors his employees to become business owners and it shows in the store cleanliness, employee friendliness and quality of the product. First time visit - review. This is for the Folsom location of Jersey Mike's. I've never eaten at a Jersey Mike's before and was craving a sandwich for takeout. This is for the Folsom location on E. Bidwell. My experience was poor - both in food quality/taste and service. I tried to order via the JM website. It's all set up for online ordering and it took me a while to get our orders correctly entered, customized, sign up for an account, etc. etc. etc. When I went to pay it wouldn't take my credit card saying it was an error. So I tried three other cards between the people in my house. None of them would go through so obvi a problem on their end. I called the Folsom JM and talked with a very rude young male. He was snarky and curt and not at all helpful. I thought about hanging up and just getting something else, and against my better judgement I did our order. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. I asked if I could pay over the phone. NO. I asked if they do curbside. NO. I asked him to set aside cookies and drinks. NO. I was trying to make things easier for my husband to pick up after a hard day at work. NO. My husband had to go inside, gather the other things and pay inside. Weird during Covid times. Our sandwiches were very small for the price. The amount of turkey on the turkey sandwich was negligible. They do not have cheddar cheese. Also, both sandwiches has copious amounts of sopping wet lettuce. Thereby making the bread WET. Disgusting. I don't feel this was a good value for the amount paid for a sandwich. I can get a super piled up high made to order sandwich from the grocery store for less. So service and food were both a no for us on this new dining place. I'm surprised by our bad experience since the restaurant has otherwise good reviews. I hate writing bad reviews. read more

I have been reluctant to visit Jersey Mike's because I'm not a big fan of cheese steaks or cold cuts, but tonight (for the first time) I let my boyfriend pick where we would eat for dinner. I wasn't sure what to get, and was debating between their Italian sub or traditional cheese steak. To my suprise, they said if I wanted my Italian sub hot, they would grill it. I was stoked, but felt adventurous so I got their traditional Philly cheese steak. I've managed in hospitality and understand good/great service, and in general I've had bad customer service experiences during Covid. That being said, the customer service at Jersey Mike's is EXCEPTIONAL. I understand there is a staffing shortage and it can be hard to find great employees but Jersey Mike's must find the last ones still willing to work in the food industry! The shift lead made a huge effort to engage in conversation with every person, genuinely caring about his connections with his customers. Also, Ryan who made my sandwich, was incredibly patient with myself and my boyfriend while we ordered. Despite my sandwich being grilled, and his deli meat being freshly sliced, our sandwiches were made INSANELY fast. Lastly, the cherry on top of this wonderful dining experience is that our sandwiches were perfect. Warm fresh bread, ample toppings and generous meat, these were some of the best sandwiches we ever had. I'm really looking forward to my next visit, and I believe every single sandwich business needs to be looking at Jersey Mike's as the A+ standard for food, service, and quality. 5/5 stars read more

We moved to el dorado hills from the east bay 2 years ago. There wasn't a jersey mike's near us. Our daughter came by to bring us lunch from Jersey Mike's in Folsom and we loved the sandwiches! Fresh lettuce tomato added pickles and "mike's way" delish! Since that first time we have gone in many times and the employees always greet each person no matter how busy they are. Even if there is a lunchtime line the employees work quickly and the time goes by fast. You can also order ahead of time. Sometimes a business will put out a good product one time but maybe not the next however that is not the case here. The sandwiches are consistently good with meats sliced in front of you. Favorites of ours are the club with roast beef turkey bacon the grilled philly sandwiches are excellent both beef and chicken hit the spot. I came in with my family and immediately was yelled at from what I believe is the manager. Why would you yell at customers? He made it seem like we were stupid yelling at us telling us to get in a single file line when all I'm trying to do is translate to my mother in law. I used to be a semi-regular at this place. The sandwiches have always been pretty good but my friend and I stopped going because we found a place we liked better. I had not been there in over a year but returned today due to their promise of donating a percentage of their revenue in support of covid-19. We called in our order for five sandwiches and paid in advance. I arrived and ended up waiting over 20 minutes. I saw at least eight people walk in, place their order and receive their food as I waited patiently. I learned that phoning an order in caused me quite the delay. I finally got my sandwiches and headed home. I should have checked the bag because there were only four sandwiches in the bag. After calling them back, it was in the car and back to the restaurant to pick up the item THEY neglected to provide. On the positive side, the sandwiches were still good but their lack of customer service and poor performance overshadowed the food quality by a large margin.
