    My spine salad

I should know better... their sandwiches are not half bad, their salads are definitely not worth it in any way. Not a single leaf of lettuce, it was completely solid "spines" with zero actual lettuce, and then covered with toppings to hide this. I ate the toppings and trashed the rest. It was takeout so I never had the chance to get it rectified.

Admittedly this was my first experience with Firehouse Subs. So I was a bit flummoxed as to what to order. I was really in the mood for a veggie sandwich but upon hearing even those are heated up, I changed my mind to the NY Steamer. Hubster ordered the Steak & Cheese. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful walking us through our maiden voyage. The location was clean. We ordered and anxiously awaited our lunch. With our beverages in hand we sat at one of the high tops inside and watched the football game on the big screen...added bonus. Our subs were flavorful, although I feel like the small sub I ordered could have used a bit more roast beef. It was a nice and handy place to enjoy a quick and semi-healthy lunch and I am sure we will pop in again on another occasion.

I've been a regular customer at Firehouse Subs for years and frequently support both the Roseville and Folsom locations. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I will no longer support the Folsom location due to the completely unprofessional and unacceptable service from Chris. I placed a large order of 15 sandwiches. When reviewing the order confirmation receipt, it reflected 18 sandwiches instead. I politely informed Chris that the order was incorrect and asked to go over it again in detail. Instead of working with me, he immediately became defensive, insisting he entered it exactly as I ordered. When I calmly explained that something was clearly off and I needed to review it against my spreadsheet, his response was: "I don't know why you have an attitude when you need something from me." Chris then proceeded to re-enter the order, still using the incorrect confirmation as his reference, rather than starting fresh as I requested. When I clarified again, his focus was on labeling me as having an attitude rather than fixing the mistake. As a paying, loyal customer, I find this lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service completely unacceptable. Despite his attitude (and the fact that he didn't deserve it), I still left a tip--knowing it will be the last tip I ever leave at this establishment. I will happily continue to support the Roseville location, where I've consistently had positive experiences, but the Folsom location has lost my business. The nerve of Chris to treat customers this way is disappointing, and I hope Firehouse Subs management takes this feedback seriously.

I was visiting a friend here in Folsom, and she wanted to grab a quick lunch here at Firehouse Subs. Normally I'm not a fan of fast food sandwich shops, like Subway or Port a Subs. But I say OK, and we go in. I just went with something simple, a turkey sub. The sandwich looked decent, but biting in,I could tell there was something missing ... just seemed kind of bland and could have used some MSG or something! I was really here to visit with my friend, so I can forgive the food, it wasn't the highlight of the visit. I guess some people like sandwich places like this, but not really my choice of a quick lunch.

This was my first time visiting Firehouse Subs EVER & I am so glad I did , today's NAME OF THE DAY was "FA" "LA", they run promotions on their Instagram with different names during December & today was a great day to be FAbioLA . Upon arrival I was greeted by a young lady who also took my order & made my sandwich , she had a smile on her face the whole time . ( receipt shows host: "Daya") WHAT I GOT Medium Turkey Bacon Ranch w/wheat bread : 5/5 The bread was nice and soft & the meat was warm with the perfect amount of everything This is what it comes with : Smoked turkey breast, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and creamy peppercorn ranch dressing & a pickle spear on the side Bowl of Chicken & Dumplings : 4/5 The soup was HOT not WARM and I appreciate that , the peas in it weren't too tasty but worth trying Overall the restaurant is spotless and clean , they have CONTACTLESS Coca Cola vending machine that is pretty cool & something to brag about . I will definitely come back ,I look forward to trying more items & special shout out to the crew tonight for being friendly and keeping the store in top tier shape .

First time there. First impressions were really favorable. Nice, open, clean-looking with fun fire station decor. Staff were really nice too! Alas.... Had one of their medium hot subs and was very disappointed. Pretty pricey for a wee bit of meat and large slathering of Mayo and mustard. Definitely NOT worth the price, unfortunately. It's a shame. Their catering menu looked great and I was hoping to use them for a large group outing I've got planned. Alas, don't think that's gonna happen. I might try a cold sub before deciding. But the size, price and quality of the sandwich I got really makes me hesitant to try them again. Sigh

Review of my first time visiting a Firehouse Subs restaurant. This location is on Bidwell near Blue Ravine. Parking lot right in front. Clean, bright and cheerful decorations with a Firehouse theme. They have sandwiches, soups and salads. The man who waited on us was very helpful and explained the menu/process, etc. The sandwiches are toasted or cold - your choice. They have three sizes of sandwiches to choose from. There are TONS and TONS of toppings options, sauces, cheese, etc to choose from. You can truly customize your sandwich and they make it easy to do so. I like that. I had a Hook and Ladder sandwich combo with chips and a drink. It was quite delicious and tasty and I would definitely order the hook and ladder again. The small sandwich is really small. I would suggest a medium. The only reason this is not five stars is the price. Two medium sandwiches, two chips and two sodas is about $25.

Which she said was the chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and cheeseburger. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, fries, and chili. She asked if we wanted a combo or separate cheeseburgers. He relied no combos. When we got to the window to pay, the amount was $8 more than we anticipated. After we got the food, I checked the bag and asked for the receipt. We saw that instead of charging 2 for $7 for the Dave single cheeseburgers (which was the special), we got charged $7 each. Oh no! So we asked for a refund for the difference. The cashier stated that we ordered wrong because we declined the combos. I'm confused at this point and asked for $7 back. She gave us $7 but kept our receipt. The actual amount owed back to us was closer to $8.63. But we took the $7 and moved on. And the Dave's singles were the tiniest Dave's single burger I've seen. They seem to be jr sized patties just fancied up with lettuce, tomato slice, and onions to pass off as a Dave single. Ugh.

First of all the burgers have substantially deteriorated in quality and size. What was once a healthy sized triple is a pathetic 3 patty burger. Doing some research, my inclination was correct in that the burger patties have reduced in size by 25% over the years! With so many other burger options, they've lost another customer. The service at this location was mediocre at best. The restaurant itself was clean but remains the standard Wendy's environment.

Those simple crinkle cut fries are classic, nicely fried with a crisp r terror and fluffy inside. When I eat 'em fresh made right on the spot... the world just becomes calmer. It's that good. The hot dogs are pretty darn good as well. They grill those. But I sure wish that this Shake Shack would put dairy free milkshakes on the menu. A number of locations in the Bay Area, offer dairy free. This location doesn't. Aw shucks. The prices are fast food comparable. But quality s better. The staff has always been great. They have ordering kiosks, but I like to order at the counter with a human. The dining room is kept clean. But the parking isn't the greatest. The small parking lot right in front of the building gets crowded especially when Noah's Bagels (their next door neighbor) is open. The parking lot spaces are limited in quantity and the distance between the aisles are narrow. Additional parking is right next door in the parking structure or a bit further walk yo the other surface lot in Palladio.

But since…read morethere were folks eating at the table, it was odd to be a couple inches away from them as I was using the kiosk. Literally about two inches from them. Even more odd to be stared at by the curious elementary school age child in that party. She innocently stood up and leaned into me to watch what I was doing on the screen. Needless to say, with this unexpected observer, it took me much longer to order. And the adults in the group took this opportunity as free babysitting and didn't rail her away. McD should move the dining table or move the ordering kiosk so to not have them side by side in close proximity to each other. I got my food quickly. Too quick perhaps. The fries were lukewarm, soft, and white-ish in color vs hot, crisp, and golden.

I am not a fan of kiosk ordering, but that is how this particular location handles their inside process. Once we navigated the kiosk, grabbed our table number we found a clean table and waited for our food. As typical with McDonald's this didn't take too long and our food was nice and hot. The server who brought us our order was friendly and even returned with extra napkins and sauces. Extra kudos to her! What could be improved here would be to have one person taking orders inside and cleaning and wiping down tables didn't seem to be a priority...maybe once the lunch crowd slowed down? I still rate McDonald's fries as my favorite...so there is that.

Music wasn't too loud, Tables were relatively clean for a Thursday afternoon and Service was very good. I noticed the guys working on the food after we order, I had no idea it was made it order. That's absolutely amazing. It takes a few minutes, however the food is soooo worth it. The buns are Martins Potato Buns and of course, being Martins they're super tasty! A lot of High end chains use Martins so naturally, I was happy to see the brand. (These buns stay together but when sauced they like to slide and that's how I could tell it was Martins! After our food, we were able to get lids and to-go boxes just by asking the gentleman working there. I think his name was Andrew if I remember correctly. There's a small crew working here that is very nice and hard working. I've never once seen any big issues here and the food is pretty consistent. There are some small changes here and there, but the food overall is very good compared to other restaurants. This place isn't even a chain and it's super tasty. I wish they were closer to where I live because I would end up eating here 2-3 days a week. It sucks my daughter can't have this food otherwise I'm sure she'd love this one too. She has a peanut allergy, and they do use peanut oil as I asked the last time I came here. (do your due diligence and make sure you ask about allergens if you are allergic to peanuts) They do in fact, use Peanut oil. If you want some good food, This is a place to try. I've been here a couple of times already. Don't expect this place to be your typical fast food. They're not your average fast food because if anything, it is fast casual. Service is very well. I can't imagine Andrew having a single bad bone in his body. If you want cheap frozen ready to go food, this is not the place. If you want something made to order, then this is your jam. Only thing I can mention: Soda selection is smaller than usually used to when I eat outside of home. Honorary Mention: Service is killer dude's an Angel.
