I feel like this Firehouse Subs never knows what's going on, I come here often, usually with my mom because it's the closest location near us both. We usually use the in app deals and the employees always seem confused or the orders always seem backed up. However, I do really enjoy the subs and how they reimplemented the hot sauce bar that disappeared shortly during the Pandemic. The hot sauces pay homage to the fire fighters who started the buisness so, in my opinion, they are vital. The last time I stopped in it was to get my free birthday sub (a nice perk if you join the reward program) but, the sub I wanted- the newest featured sub on the menu- wasn't available online so, I ended up ordering my moms sub with my coupon and just paying for mine. We somehow ended up with another sub, so three in total when we ordered two, no biggie but, it just illustrates the confusion of the staff working. I mean hey, we weren't going to complain. My mom's favorite sub is the hook and ladder, it has turkey and ham. It seems to be the most popular sub here. We both always have to visit around thanksgiving and get the thanksgiving sub with stuffing and cranberry sauce on it. It really is one of the best out there (and nowadays every sub place seems to have one around November). My go to is the Jamaican Jerk Turkey sub, which isn't too spicy but has a little bit extra oomph than just a regular turkey sub. I also enjoy the club on a sub which adds bacon to the turkey and ham. The problem is when you order on the app it seems they prioritize your order last and since all the deals are on the app but we like to sit down and eat inside we end up waiting quite long for our sandwiches. read more

Firehouse is close to work, and it's an easy pick up when I'm needing something fast and relatively healthy. I lovelovelove their Veggie Sub. I like that you can delete & add ingredients on the app and so far they've never gotten anything wrong. You can even add an extra pickle spear for no extra charge- nice little perk. They do get busy often, so expect a wait, and I recommend checking to make sure your order is correct. One time they left the ham & turkey off a ham & turkey salad- no fun! read more

In the case of this firehouse location, I sincerely hope that management and our ownership read reviews and understand the need for an overhaul. - I have a lot of fond memories in this place from the time they opened inside the Ward Parkway shopping center, and the food has always been very good. However, I will not be revisiting this location at any time in the future, knowing that the struggles to find competent, efficient, and frankly sane staffers has led to not only being addressed disrespectfully, but in two recent instances, not even acknowledged while standing at the counter, waiting to place an order. Beyond unacceptable, and while I would hate to see this location close, it may be an inevitability if the struggles to find staffers continue. read more

So this is really disappointing. The smokehouse brisket and cheese today was full of fat and way too much mayo. Couldn't even taste the bbq sauce and for a large sandwich combo..$20.01. Horrible experience! I'd give zero stars if able. Ordered on the app, our son and daughter went to pick-up the order, they said they never recieved it. Also produced a "receipt" showing the entire order. They wouldn't let them order it in person. They said they were closing early. They did take other people's order after them. Austin was the manager I think. I call, they really didn't have much to say, not even apologize after I tried to explain common courtesy a few times. It is great they offer different portion sizes for meal deals. Makes it easier when eating with multiple people. I was a little disappointed they did not have their hot sauces on display as they once did before Covid. Also, it would have been nice if they had their hot sauces as an option to add to the sandwich to spice it up a notch. Otherwise, sandwiches are still consistent. My medium (7") grilled chicken sub ($6.39) was brought to my table about five minutes after I ordered at the counter. It had plenty of fresh toppings, and just an okay amount of meat, on fresh and tasty bread. The service was friendly and welcoming, while the dining area was spacious and clean with a good variety of background music. I liked the good variety of sauces of various heat levels. I'm thinking 3.5 stars and rounding up. Overall, very nice. read more

Came in for my birthday sub! I've always like firehouse, there's just none in a super convenient location for me. The sandwiches are always good and done right. I wasn't too impressed with the staff, they didn't greet anyone and the guy working the cash wrap was dull, seemed like he did not want to be there. Good size subs at reasonable prices. read more

Waited an hour and 30 mins for a SANDWICH. Asked for no deli mustard, and yet I still got that. When asked for a refund employee said they were working on my order. I've waned on my loved of sandwiches over the years, but I have to say, Firehouse Subs turns out a pretty good sandwich time in and time out. We were reaching critical hangriness coming out of a busy day. We were also trying to order something before a Chiefs game to get home and watch them so we called in our order. The gal on the phone said they'd have it ready when we arrived in five-ten minutes and I was disappointed that they didn't have it ready and it took an additional 10 minutes. However, chalk that up to hangriness and my impulse to get home, feast and relax. We ordered club sandwich combos with sea salt & vinegar chips and an Arnold Palmer to drink. Everything was really good and hit the spot. There is more than enough meat on the sandwiches, and the wheat bread has the slightest hint of sweetness that really works. Stood in front of the online pickup counter for 15 minutes while employee after employee refused to acknowledge me, finally I go up there to ask and the food has been sitting behind the counter (not the order pickup station) the whole time. The employees always make me smile when they deliver my sandwich to the table. The subs are a good portion and come toasted. I love firehouse subs. They are generally friendly and great with service. Today, was the 1st time I tired this particular restaurant off. No one welcomed me, like they usually do "Welcome to Firehouse". When I was picking up my order Myliea, one of the workers, asked if i had ordered the Italian and I explained with bacon. With an attitude said there wasn't bacon. I told her I had ordered it and she rudely copped an attitude, rolled her eyes and said "they didn't charge you for the so I'll have to charge you." I said fine. She was very short and rude throughout the whole transaction. I didn't have a problem with them missing the bacon. I didn't have a problem with paying for it. I get that it was lunch time and they were busy. But drop the attitude and get some customer service skills. read more

A decent sub place. I wasn't sure if you could add on whatever you wanted, so I just ordered off the menu. I opted for the cranberry turkey, off of the light menu. It was delicious!!!!! So much turkey, and great ratios all around. The only thing I didn't enjoy as much was the cranberry spread; a bit too sweet for my liking. Only two veggie friendly options here - a tuna and a veggie, but the veggie sub is hot with melted cheese and tasty. I like this chain. They have a huge variety of meat-eater subs and chili and salads as well. You can get all your sandwiches with chips and a drink. They also have yummy brownies and cookies. This location has one of the fun new digital coke machines where you can customize flavors. I was thrilled to have my lime diet Coke. It's a basic sandwich chain, but a solid one. read more

Everytime I have ordered from this exact store I get the most incomplete sub in the world. Can't read a simple ticket that just say no onions or tomatoes. Instead they take off literally everything but the meat. Even the sauce. No lettuce nothing. I asked for pickles and banana peppers. I got 2 banana peppers and 3 chunks of pickles. Employees were all nice and helpful but not my favorite place for lunch. Food reminds me of Subway but everything is heated/comes hot. I didn't have a lot of time or options for my lunch this day so I ordered a chicken sandwich. Seemed like a frozen chicken breast; slightly grayed with fake grill marks and a bit rubbery. If I come back I would try a different meat and ask for extra toppings or condiments because I thought it was just plain boring. Terrible food and customer service. Ordered a steak and cheese sandwich which comes with onion and peppers and added and paid for mushrooms on it as well. Sandwich came out with just onions on it. When I asked about the peppers and mushrooms that were missing the manager gave me a side of COLD peppers to put on my hot sandwich rather than offering to remake it or serve them to me hot. Tonight when we visited the restaurant I stood at the register waiting for the young man behind the register to possibly greet us and then take our order. Instead, he yelled down the line at another employee, "fuckface!" The restaurant was full of customers. He continued to yell at the employee and we chose to go elsewhere.
