Half & Half 10" Gluten Friendly. Not bad, just needed longer in the oven
    Dana M.

Restaurant was clean so no complaints about that. Service wasn't bad, they were attentive without being pushy so we appreciated that. We ordered 2 pizzas, a garden salad and a cup of broccoli soup. The Hog pizza I'm told was good, my gluten free half cheese & half pepperoni was just okay. Needed a bit longer in the oven. Was told the garden chop salad was good but the broccoli soup a disappointment. There were the hard stringy bits of broccoli instead of chucks of the top part. It was all good enough that we plan to go back and try other things

Poor value. $17 for "half" a sub (maybe a quarter), chips, drink and a pickle. For that price, its not that good. I won't be coming back.

We are back on a Friday evening to review their pizza. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. We felt welcomed and we ordered a cheese pizza and an Italian sausage pizza. They have this great deal where you can get a buy one and get one for 50 percent off. It's right on their little menu. Total for these two pizzas $19.80 The dining area was pretty cold inside. My husband mentioned it to the crew and they said they would take care of it. they did so immediately. They also indicated they would bring out our pizza. So that was nice. I love that it's thin crust. Very tasty. They do a great job of keeping the lobby and dining area clean and the crew is very mindful of each other as they are courteous to guests and each other. Great place to come and visit.

When I looked at it I was like dang this sandwich is small BUT it is loaded with flavor! Super delicious, and I like quality over quantity any day! This place was highly recommended to me,and its a 5/5 for sure!

You know, for a fast casual chain sandwich joint, this Pickleman's does a pretty good job of delivering on a solid quick meal. This spring we have soccer every Saturday at Heritage Park and when it ends, our kiddo is hungry so we have often ended up at this Pickleman's as it's on the way home, and is a lot healthier than say, McDonalds on the way home for a treat. The folks working have consistently been super kind, and it's fairly affordable for the three of us to snag a sandwich after soccer. Each time the sandwich is warm, and tasty. I think our daughter would say her favorite part is getting bbq chips, but she always eats at least half of her ham sandwich as well. My only critique is that I'm often freezing when I'm inside, but that could just be a corporate decision on AC, who knows.

    Very exciting!!!

I was very excited to see a location of Pickleman's not too far from home and it is newly built and opened. From my experiences at both locations in Lawrence and all 3 in KC, the service is always hit or miss depending on time and location unfortunately. Of course we all have had co-workers that go above and beyond expectations while others just show up for their shift. Fortunately the recipe remains consistent with the bread and soup! The tomato bisque is as flavorful and smooth as I remember, complimenting the crunch of the outside of the bread with the fluffy center that soaks up every drop you have left of soup like a sponge! To my knowledge this is the first location with a drive-thru, that's HUGE! This is definitely an in&out type of restaurant, but you are always welcome to dine-in if you want your clothes to smell like a bakery the next day. Great options either way! There was a few technical difficulties with the fancy credit card terminal. I definitely love technology, but also realize it can be a pain at the same time. The staff also assumed I was eating my food in and didn't package any of it to-go as I intended. Small things that can easily be fixed. I will definitely be utilizing the drive-thru in the future. Also, I am very happy to see this restaurant spread its wings and fly! P.s will do my best to let my phone eat first next time(:

We went in for lunch, but you need to know that **there's only one hot menu item served per day on a rotating schedule.** so as we would say to our kids... "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit!" HAHA. But you won't want to cry, because the dish we tried was absolutely delicious! Also, they have a very robust pastry case - some savory and some sweet. Not to mention their extensive grocery options! Spices, baking mixes, frozen foods, Brazilian condiments, cosmetics, even a small produce section and loads of cases of Guaraná!! (the classic Brazilian soda, a cross between apple and ginger ale IMO.) Just for context, our main dish was $15 and the delicious hamburger was $7. Check Geo's out! The man at the café was friendly, helpful and kind!

Since I do not live in Kansas City, my boyfriend drove about 3 hours the day before so I could attend the interview. In addition, I had to miss a day of work at my university job, which caused me to lose a day's worth of pay. However, when I arrived at the location, the owner simply did not show up for the interview. He also did not respond to my messages or even had the consideration to apologize for what happened. I was extremely upset and disappointed with the situation, especially because of the time spent traveling, the money spent on gas, and the loss of my workday. As of today, May 14th, I still have not received any response or even a simple apology. If this is how a potential employee is treated before even being hired, it says a lot about how this business values people.

This was the start of my love affair that still runs hot today. Excluding mom and pop restaurants, Jersey Mikes is by far the best of all chain restaurants. Jersey Mikes located off in Olathe was my first ever experience with the chain and forever etched it into my favorite chain for Subs! The hallmark of any great subshop is first quality meats and secondly them slice them to order. While a lot of shops now slice their own meats and cheeses, I believe Jersey Mikes was the first chain to do so (check me on that if wrong but I worked at Subway in the 90s and we didn't). With this info always in my mind, I'm always confident that no matter what Jersey Mikes I go to, it will be consistent and the way I like it, b/c I always order in person)! Next, they do bake their bread so another huge win in my book as most just proof up frozen bread which is devoid of the little touches. Finally, the owner was there and was an extremely friendly guy and genuinely excited to take my order! I admit, I'm a cold sub fiend and you can keep the hot subs (sorry Philly). I've literally had every one of their subs but I hold true to the original Italian. Every time I get mine, it's literally a salad on bread. A little bit of onion, lots of lettuce, tomatoes, a couple pickles, 2 japs, S&P, Oregano, lots of mayo, lots of oil, a bit of vinegar but I wish they had olives..... Mine is perfection, brought on by my countless visits and endless tinkering. Good thing I don't work there! My kids got the ham and swiss with just mayo. Granted they're young but I'm not going to argue with them if they're happy. As for the Xwife (sorry a slight lag in writing this) she got the turkey & cheese with mayo, lettuce and tomato. While she didn't die..... she did love the sub (sorry dark humor there). It was our go to spot for many years. Also note they used to serve pizza! That's correct, they were one of 3 pilot Jersey Mike's to serve pizza in addition to the subs. I'll be the first to admit, I thought it was pretty darn good and smart to combine the two American favorites. Alas they no longer serve pizza so you'll just have to opt for one of the many other options (my advice is Detroit style with Italian sausage, onions, tomatoes, olives). Back to the point the whole family was happy. In summary, the store is very clean and safe, while the staff are very nice. Admittedly if you've been to one Jersey Mike's you've basically been to them all. So, I'm basically here saying the say thing as a repeated record as I've lived all over the place and travel frequently. This store is on par with all other locations so shop in confidence you'll get the best sub around!

I figured I would go and get lunch here considering I really loved my lunch the other day. It really does feel like a cafe inside of Adrian's and with it being like 45 degree randomly today, it was so comfortable, cozy, and felt very neighborhood oriented. While I had been disappointed at first by the service on the phone, I recognize that they had someone training and it's hard to balance all of the orders they get! The owner actually called me back when I hung up after being on hold for a sec, which is absolutely going the extra mile. I was already on my way and going to place that order but gosh he was so awesome! Rare anymore these days that anyone lets you try anything before you get to buy it and the owner let me try their chicken salad (since I was skeptical) and they had run out of chicken breast for the day. I really try to stick to mainly eating chicken, but the owner convinced me to try some of their bacon on top of it and it is one of the best sandwiches I can say I've had. Absolutely will be a regular at this location. Everything is delicious. Everything is fresh. You won't believe that you can get quality like this at a corporate restaurant, but you CAN
