It is in a fancy building with.businesses on either side. You walk in , go to counter, order and then sit upstairs or on the few tables downstairs or when cooler, outside. We chose up stairs and had a view over the golf course. The menu has pizza (looks good),panini , subs, pre-packaged salads, and entrees with pasta. Watered down sauce to make it go further, get a large pizza but just for dough and sauce it's $17 dollars then god help you if you want a few toppings then it would be $50 pizza , what pizza place puts a price for dough and sauce, and the portions are so small you leave hungry, why do we let these restaurants keep taking advantage of us. There's a retirement community behind it and sorry for being rude or mean but it seems just to me that older folks don't eat as much and this restaurant is surely taking advantage of that, don't waste your time unless your rich and not hungry, I can't get over how they have a price for dough and sauce, and ad water to there sauce so it goes further, all these tricks to rip us off , I'm happy to come back and prove you use water in your sauce. It was a small cafe with a nice ambiance. We had to order at the register and the order would be delivered at our table. After browsing through the menu we decided to order Cheese Garlic bread, Caesar bread, Chicken & broccoli pasta along with the sweet tea. WOW this just breaks my heart. I'm Mr. Support Small Business. These guys just take that wind right out of your sails. Ok so I gave them not 1 but 2 chances and they jumped all over messing it up. 1st order was for 16 pizzas that needed to be picked up at 4:30 I called a day ahead. We show up ready to pick up 16 pizzas they had 12. We left they charged us for all 16 pizzas called literally 45 minutes after we left to let us know the other 4 pizzas were ready to be picked up. They asked me what I wanted them to do with the other 4 pizzas. I asked my wife if I should tell them what to do with the pizzas LOL. 2nd ordered a calzone 3 toppings extra sauce $29.48!!!!! I'm from New York and today I finally tried The Green Room. I couldn't be happier with the taste and quality of the food! People inside were happy and I got that home feel that I hoped for! I will be back regularly. I can't believe I waited a year before coming here! Lots of teens working there looked pretty happy and the chefs were exactly what you'd expect, friendly and they look like they genuinely enjoy their craft. I got chicken Parmesan and the chicken was juicy and the cheese was stretchy and delicious. The sauce was incredible and very authentic. The garlic bread wasn't soggy or overcooked. It was very buttery and had the perfect amount of garlic. We devoured it. My kids had the pizza and I also tried some. I can promise it's authentic New York style pizza. I forgot I was in Georgia! The cannoli was (I can't believe I'm saying this) better than a lot of places back home. I usually only get them if it has chocolate chips but I didn't miss them one bit. I love this place! If you live in Camden County you know there are VERY few decent restaurants. (There's three, and this one of them.) This is a military base and fast food town. Thank God this place moved in and opened up! Great, great, great walk up counter service to a nice selection of traditional Sicilian dishes that (IMHO) have been pretty Americanized for their customers. They have three different seating choices - outside, which is nice right now for safety purposes, inside (by the counter), which is the "see and be seen" place, and upstairs overlooking the Osprey Cove golf course - better for families or private business meetings. Lots of choices! The hot Italian panini is GREAT! Very nice people - really good sandwiches, pizzas and specials, and some great limited grocery items for sale in the lobby. Their food is absolutely amazing. I love to get the Nana's club whenever my family orders them. However, something has been off lately. About a month or so ago my dad ordered a hot Italian and it was extremely greasy. It was just about dripping with every bite, hands completely covered in grease, and the cheese was missing. It was definitely not how it usually was. Last week I got the Nana's club and the lettuce was on its last day or something because it didn't look or taste good. Lasagna was mediocre. I've purchased Stouffers frozen lasagna that had better taste than this place. The eggplant was dry and probably was a day old or two. The cucumber salad was pretty good ( gave an extra star for that ). The staff was super friendly ( extra star for that ). Over all I was disappointed based on the recommendations I was given.
