I'm not sure how this place got more than 4 stars. I ordered a Firehouse steak and cheese and got steak with mayo! When I brought it back I was told that's how they make their steak and cheese. It took another worker to tell the other that the steak and cheese should have cheese!! Peppers and mushrooms!! She asked it I told them to hold the peppers and cheese and onions?!?! What the hell kind of question is that? Luckily the lady who took my order remembered what I ordered...after a bit of denial they agreed to make me the sandwich I ordered. Love this place! They always serve delicious subs made to order! I come here once a week and order either the Italian or the Hook and Ladder. Both sandwiches are packed with flavor and has the perfect balance! Weekends are typically super busy with tons of people waiting to order or waiting for their food. First timer a couple weeks ago and will return! I was greeted as I walked in and was given some time to get familiar with the menu. Cute decor of actual firehouse. Lots of sandwich choices. Free drink refills. Clean and bright ambiance and seating inside or outside. They bring your order to you. Was thanked upon leaving. I ordered online, so that I can pick it up on my lunch break. It said it would be ready at 12:40. I arrived at 12:40. It wasn't ready but it looked busy so I waited. I kept waiting and had to just leave at 1:10 because it still wasn't ready and I had to go back to work. So I just wasted my money for nothing. I've tried the food in the past but I've always had issues with customer service, it was usually little things like the cashier not knowing how to work the system, or just having the workers be kind of rude. Thee best subs around. I've never eaten at this place before until now and I can tell you, it's the best sandwich shop I've ever eaten at. The meat is so fresh, juicy and just plain good!!! Where do I start? I've been going to this store since they've opened. It used to be hit and miss at best regarding missing utensils, missing pickles, and not following simple requests like no mayonnaise, no spread, wheat bread instead of of white, simple things like that. Then Covid hit and the wheels really fell off. First they jacked up there prices by over 20% and on top of that the attitudes of the employees seemed to change overnight as if we the customers owed them more for working an entry level job. That's when I just had to talk to someone and I did. I had the district manager call me and I voiced my concerns. He seemed genuinely concerned and I left the conversation feeling good and on a positive note. However over the last 2 years I've left the store telling myself "this time it's going to be different, they're going to get it right and not forget a thing." Well, last night was not only different, it was worse. I ordered a chicken salad, a large turkey bacon ranch, and a bowl of chili using the APP. I requested wheat bread, no mayo, and no peppercorn ranch. I arrived a little early and sat in my car taking a phone call. After the call I went inside and observed 2 employees standing behind the counter not necessarily doing anything specific, no greeting or hello. I noticed a bag in the pick up area and checked to see if it was my order. It was, so I picked it up and before I turned to leave I asked if they remembered the pickle and they both replied that it was in there. Well, being an optimist I left with the hope that these 2 individuals were upstanding and respectful teenagers who consider customer service as a requirement for future promotion. Hahahaha, boy was I wrong! Not only was there mayonnaise and peppercorn ranch sauce on the sandwich, they used white bread, and THEY FORGOT THE PICKLE. Not only did those little shits get the order completely wrong, they lied straight to my face. I'm not quite sure what it is about the Firehouse Subs Franchise when it comes to hiring, but teaching the employees to listen before speaking and to be meticulous about getting a simple food order correct. My very first experience with Firehouse Subs 5 years ago ended up the same way. Employees not listening and getting the order wrong. Some things just never change.... First time here so I asked for advice and ordered a meatball sub. It was fantastic. Gooey melted cheese, marinara sauce, and seasonings over chunky meatballs. It was definitely one of the better meatball sandwiches I've had. The employees were very friendly and the had our order completed very quickly. I decided to give this place a second chance, the last time I went here was 9 months ago and was not pleased with the service. I ordered my food online through the website, and asked that they put the sandwich in a bowl because I do not eat bread. On the website there is a specific section where you can remove things, such as mustard, Tomatoes, etc. I asked for no tomatoes, and no mustard. I then wanted to add banana peppers, and vinegar. What I got was a small bowl, I liked the amount of meat and cheese there was, with some banana peppers and that's it. I called to ask why there wasn't any lettuce or onions, or the pickle spear that I didn't even get. I was informed by the individual that answered the phone that they don't put the lettuce in the bowl because sometimes people don't want it. If there is a section that says to remove the lettuce and if that was not marked logic dictates you would put lettuce in the bowl. Based on this second visit, I will never go back to this place again. Clearly it is not gotten better in the nine months from my first visit until now. I will go to a different sandwich place. read more

I would usually give this place all five stars because they USUALLY have great sandwiches. I have a problem with the older women working the register. Every time I come in and she takes my order she's not only RUDE but she gets my order WRONG every time. I really am not someone that complains, but this is the 3rd time this has happened when she has taken it. This sandwich literally has everything on it that I asked not for it to be on. I'm sorry to say this, I do support firemen 100%, but Firehouse Subs needs to step things up a notch, especially at this particular franchise. The last time I obtained food here turned me off completely! Like really? There were only 3 people here waiting for sandwiches and it took almost an hour for me to receive mine?! Are you kidding me??? Did the manager not teach these employees how to cook food efficiently? And know this, there were 3 cooks in the kitchen, just awful. Oh, and guess what, because that wasn't all. After I got my sandwich, hoping it would be different, my full sized sandwich came out looking almost as small as a hotdog with very little meat, while I paid pretty much $8 for it. You know I could always get a bigger and much more delicious sandwich from Subway for a much cheaper price. This is unbelievable. You guys should be embarrassed for what you offer.
