They make their food fresh daily on site or to order, and the place opens at 8:00 am. I ordered a grilled pork bánh mì and a special bánh mì, each for $7.10. Honestly, they're not as good as the bánh mì I usually get back in OC, but they're decent enough. The Vietnamese coffee was just okay nothing special. I also got some sticky rice and a steamed bun. They have fridges full of drinks, snacks, and other Vietnamese dishes that you can pickup along with your sandwiches. My go-to order is always their #1 - House Special and whenever they have nem chua, I pick that up as well. It's so good here and they give the right amount of meat, pickled veggies, and spread. I believe they do charge a credit card fee, so cash is preferred! Service is always good. They're always friendly and quick. Keep in mind, they do have a buy 5 get 1 free! My only complaint is that I've asked to cut my 2 sandwiches in half before since I like to eat half and save the other for another meal. The cashier may be a little short to you sometimes but he means well. There are two tables for dining with chairs, one for two, and one for four. Then there are 2-3 chairs for waiting. This is a great place for a quick bite or a to go order, but not to study/linger too long. The vegetables are also fresh and well-portioned. It's not too different from other Viet sandwich shops I've been to, they are just vegetables after all. I was really disappointed with my experience here. While waiting for my order, I witnessed a very uncomfortable and unacceptable interaction. One employee (a short-haired woman) called out an order number. The customer walked up to the counter, but apparently didn't respond loudly enough.
