Gyu Plus is a very popular sandwich and bowls restaurant in Chinatown Las Vegas. I came on a Saturday lunch and the line was very long. I believe the popularity came from social media. Parking is minimal. The ambiance inside looks modern, but seating is minimal inside and outside. I ordered the steak sando for $23.99 and spicy chicken katsu sando for $13.99. They also have a 3 sandwich sampler box option for $46.99. I really wanted to like both, but I thought it was just okay in flavor and quality. I didn't understand the "hype." Overall, I'm glad I tried it once but I don't think I'll be back.

I've been wanting to come here since they opened. I was expecting a line but I was lucky. I got there about 11:45. It's really a small place but there are a lot of seats on the outside. The lady at the register was so nice and went through the menu. I got the egg sando. The bread looks thick but it's soft and a bit sweet. They toast the inside a bit enough to give it a small crunch. The egg mixture itself was pretty blan but a lot of it so I left full. It could have used a bit salt or some seasoning. The other sandos look really good. The people next to me got the sampler and they loved each sando they had. I will come back and get the sampler.

This is a pretty solid Japanese sandwich spot featuring some fancy offerings (or at least midscale). We got the Lulu sando box (which comes with steak, spicy chicken katsu, and egg sando) and chef's box (rice bowl). This was a satisfactory meal for 4 people. The steak sandwich has onion jam so I really love this, plus the steak is pretty high quality (I don't even need to splurge for wagyu when this is already somewhat close to it for a fraction of the price). The spicy chicken katsu is also really good. Egg sando is like deviled eggs and it is a generous amount. The chef's box rice bowl is good as the steak is good quality. However, the rice is quite mushy and the meat/veggies to rice ratio is poor, so you are paying $26 for a lot of rice. I would also have preferred if they distinguished what is Japanese wagyu vs American beef filet as it can be hard to tell otherwise.

It was delicious. I'm so glad I came here to try it out. The bread was so good and egg was perfect. Highly recommend.

Went on a Friday morning and the line was out the door. It took a while to order and then waited some more for the food to come out. You order at the register and then seat yourself. There's some seats by the register and more seating in the back. Ordered the spicy chicken katsu sando and the flavors were balanced. The spiciness of the chicken and the coleslaw worked well together.

    Steak sando, delicious!

We ordered the sampler for takeout and it was absolutely delicious! Loved the little tube with sauce that you can squeeze, the flavor was great, and the steak was tender and juicy. The sampler sizes are still filling because of the thick bread, and are a great way to try a variety. Would highly recommend if you're in Vegas!

We came to grab lunch on Friday, and waited about 20mins to order and another 30mins to receive our food. Ambiance: 4/5 Pretty chill setting. They have high tables at the main area where you order, outdoor seatings, and in the back of the restaurant. Service: 4/5 Cashier was really sweet and friendly. 30mins is a long wait though but that's how you know they're making it right out of the kitchen. Food: 3.5/5 Lulu sando box actually gives you 9 pieces in total, not 3!! Beef was kind of tough and had no flavor. Egg was ok. Spicy chicken katsu was also ok. I was expecting saucy katsu but it was the powder on top that made it spicy. Shrimp was really good! We weren't fans of the bread. Neither toasted nor soft and was kind of dry.

Loved my first lunch experience here! The cozy & modern fast-casual was spotless! The Asian male staff was super nice & took his time to tell me about the menu. I was HUNGRY upon arrival (I only had a small organic apple & black coffee for breakfast), and decided on the salmon bowl. The salmon bowl was DELICIOUS w/ generous portion of grilled salmon, seasoned perfectly. The rice was al dente with sautéed mushroom, as well as shredded cabbage. I can't wait to come back to try the egg sando.

nothing out of this world, but this was a good spot! kept seeing all over social media and thankfully we came before the lunch rush hour. ordered the steak sando (it was nicely cooked, mebbe needed more seasoning) + spicy chicken katsu sando (my personal favourite i lov the spice and texture from cabbages) and both came with its respective sauces so cute ! i would also say the breading was a little too much also the owner was very attentive and friendly so we appreciated that ! interior design so prettys

We came at 11:00am, and they were already packed out. The wait time was over thirty minutes, which we were warned of after we ordered, but we were okay to wait. The staff were attentive and gave out chips for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, I just cannot enjoy the food. The egg sandwich was severely under seasoned, and it literally just tastes like egg. I was expecting flavors I couldn't make at home, so was very disappointed. The pork bowl was also underwhelming and came lukewarm. For the price and the wait, this is outrageous. It seems like an understaffing issue that we ran into that day, which can't be helped, but the food should at least be good. A place famous for sandwiches should put effort into each sandwich; if not, take the egg off the menu...

Came here Sunday lunch around 12 pm. Took about an hour and a half to receive our food. They had to take a 20 minute pause on orders due to high demand which was exhausting especially in the heat. I definitely would not line up for this again, was a pass. I've had better chicken sandos for shorter wait times. The steak was also rather dry, but if you are to try I definitely recommend chicken over steak. Mediocre but if you want the experience go for it! Veryyy limited seating inside with one large table.

This is the definition of taste of Japan. Took me back to when I was in Japan eating egg sandwiches daily! The staff was so friendly. The line went out the door when I was there on a Saturday during lunch time. Waited about 15 minutes and completely worth the wait. The staff would come in and out thanking everyone for their patience, in which I appreciate the acknowledgment in the heat! They were doing the fastest they can, and by the time I ordered, probably took 5 mins to get the sandwiches out! The boss, I presumed, came out and gave us our sandwiches. Super nice and friendly. Even came back around to see what are thoughts were on the food! The place looks small but there is a cute back with cherry blossoms and lofi music that makes the vibe of the restaurant, so don't be fooled that the front is the only place to sit! I love nothing more than amazing food but moreover people who care about the people who come through their restaurant and acknowledge their presence and such! I don't live here but Vegas is like second home to us Los Angeles peeps, but saw this place from a vlogger I follow, and this is definitely on the top of my list of places I'll continue to come to and highly recommend!

gray, sad, unseasoned sandwich Steak Sando. that was all the meat in it as well.

got the lulu sampler. Katsu was good, but 2 of the 3 pieces were almost all breading. the steak and egg however.. absolutely terrible. somehow the egg had negative flavor, and the steak almost seemed boiled. even for the money it wasn't worth finishing. oh abd 25 minutes with 3 people in the restaurant.

Each dish is prepared using traditional techniques and quality ingredients that honor the authentic flavors of Vietnam. I couldn't resist indulging in their famous Vietnamese drip coffee accompanied by a classic Banh Mi during my visit. The coffee, brewed slowly through a delightful drip process, boasts a deep, robust flavor profile with notes that dance on the palate. Adding sweet condensed milk transforms this beverage into a creamy, rich, energizing, and satisfying treat--perfect for kickstarting my meal. The **Banh Mi** itself is truly the star of the show. I sincerely hate leaving purely negative reviews, but unfortunately, everything about my experience…read moreat Moignet left a negative impression, and I want to make sure my thoughts are honest and transparent. First of all, this was my first time at Moignet, and I was excited to try because there was so much hype surrounding it. This was evidenced by the long line of customers, which was out the door and wrapped around the side of the building. Even though the line was just to place an order, it took a very long time to move. (By the way, I came on a weekday morning/afternoon.) But that's okay, not a huge deal. However, my first real complaint would be the rude interaction I witnessed from the cashier. To preface, this interaction didn't happen to me; it was with the lady in line ahead of me. The customer tried to order four orders of mango mochi (the specialty here), but customers were limited to two mochi orders per person. The lady didn't realize this and asked if her daughter (who wasn't on the premises) could count, to which the cashier said no. Up to this point, this was reasonable; it is store policy, after all. That being said, the cashier started escalating it and using an aggressive/condescending tone. Mind you, the lady was already ready to drop it, ready to order her two mangos. It just seemed like the cashier did not want to be there; I wasn't sure why she had an attitude. It was just an off-putting interaction that had me questioning the customer service here. To the cafe's credit, my order did come out really quickly. I ordered one mango mochi and a six-count order of their mochi beignets. Here is my review of each item: Mochi Beignets: These were disappointing. They were dense and heavy, which I shouldn't be surprised about because of the mochi component. Nonetheless, a regular beignet would've been much better, in my opinion. I recommend eating them fresh, as they do not hold well for long hours. Mango Mochi: This is what I was most excited to try, and again, I was disappointed. To be fair, the flavor isn't bad. However, the size of the mango was abysmal. Absolutely nothing like what they advertise. So different, in fact, I would actually consider it false advertising. I've attached a picture of the cross-section below. The portion was truly skimpy...Are they cutting corners? This early in the day? They just opened...! The inside of the cafe is pretty cute. Even though it was crowded, there was seating available because the bulk of customers were all standing in line waiting to order...Is there no better system? But at least that makes it easier to find a spot. Overall, I was sorely let down by this experience at Moignet. I think it's definitely a TikTok/trendy type of establishment, so I don't know how the fad will fare in the long run. Sorry, but I can't recommend it.
