Placed an online order, picked it up and returned home to find out that the oder was wrong. Wrong addition of caramelized onion when I ordered caramelized peppers as I'd never had such a thing, half of the Large sandwich was SOAKED from something that wasn't in my order, and no pickle! Contacted corporate to get a future order comped, they sent my info on to the manager (Jackie). She said she'd prefer me not to contact corporate and she'd replace my one large with two larges in the future, to be used at separate times if chosen. I called back to get one of the redemptions and the worker told that they didn't have past history of these things from that manager. She contacted the new manager and they said that I would need to have a receipt with that noted on it (umm, who returns to a business to fix something when they live 15 mins away? How does this make sense?) I've since contacted Firehouse corporate multiple times since and nothing has happened. Y'all are supposed to be supporting Fire Fighters? Or is it a money grab with your corporation that is extremely difficult to contact? Need a phone number for corporate office? Good luck finding one. Chat Bot? Laughable. The last 2 times I've been to this location, the bread was so soggy that the sandwich was not edible, unless I wanted to try to eat it with a spoon. I've been to this location many times in the past, and the service and food were excellent. So that for itself deserves a few stars. Today was a different story, and this will likely be my last time at this location. We ordered online as we always do. The app is great, and easy to use. 20 minute wait, not bad. We pulled up and the parking spot directly in front of the store happened to be open. We took it. Waited for a few minutes in the car because it wasn't quite to quoted time and they looked busy. Naturally, we watched through the window from the car. To our surprise, there's a man in a wife beater tank top making a sandwich behind the counter. Keep in mind, it's like 90° outside today. I'm hot in the car, so I KNOW it's hot in there. Anyways, we keep watching as he is making a sandwich and are contemplating getting a refund because that's a health code violation. You cannot wear a sleeveless shirt like that while preparing food. I don't want a side of armpit juice with my sandwich. My boyfriend went inside to ask for a refund and to our surprise IT WAS THE MANAGER. How is your MANAGER not following health code rules and regulations? That doesn't make me want to go back ever. I want to give this new location a perfect score for two reasons: 1. It's in my favorite OG strip mall in Lee's Summit. 2. The food was very good and I didn't have to wait long. 3. Service was great. I can see his location doing really well if properly managed. The ONE reason I couldn't give it a perfect score: I understand some people can't hear their orders if the wait is long, but the girl who was calling out the orders around Noon on June 7 was loud, like obnoxiously loud... I'm still dang happy to have Firehouse though at this LS location. I will be back for sure! read more

I love firehouse subs and I've been to plenty of them, and they are always quick and efficient. But today, having online orders takes priority over me walking in and ordering. While a group of people that walks in 15 minutes after me orders at the counter and gets their food before I do. With 5 people working it seems like there isn't that much being done. read more

Good lord how hard is it to get an order right? Tried firehouse for the first time 2 days ago. They didnt give the drink or cookie with the kids meal or the pickle on the side for the sandwich. After a hard day at work we decided to order out for dinner and we haven't had Firehouse before. I ordered our food to go and then picked it up and brought it home. I ordered at 5:03 and it was ready by 5:25, so pretty quick! I walked in and everyone was really friendly and they had my order ready when I walked in. We ordered the Club on a Sub, Turkey Bacon Ranch, and Beef and Cheddar Brisket, and a regular grilled cheese for my picky eater. Everyone agreed their sandwich was delicious! We ordered medium sandwiches but I'll probably order the large size next time. We will definitely be back! read more

We have ordered on line twice now. The 1st time we didn't get the pickle spears even though the box was checked. The second time, when my husband went to pick up our order, there were no pickle spears again and my husband was told that Corporate wants customers to ask for them, even though there is a box to check for a pickle when ordering on line. They gave us the pickles and after we got home, we realized they did not give us the brownies that we ordered and paid for. So of course we had to make another trip back to the store.
