One Star - Poor Service and Even Worse Customer Support I ordered a Large New York Steamer through the Firehouse Subs app and received a completely different sandwich a Philly Cheesesteak. Simple mistake, right? Should be a simple fix too. Nope. I contacted their guest services immediately. Here's how it went: Email 1 (from them): "Sorry about that! We issued you 1600 reward points." Sounds nice, until you realize it takes 15,000 points to get a free sandwich. So basically... thanks for 1/10 of a replacement. My response: I told them the points don't come close to covering what I paid for and asked for a proper solution more points or a refund. Email 2 (from them): They passed the buck entirely, saying since it was a pickup order, I need to go to the store myself and sort it out. Apparently, the app is just for show, and once your money is taken, you're on your own. So let me get this straight: I used their app I was given the wrong item They gave me points worth about $1 Then told me to go deal with it in person? Why even have a guest services team if all they do is redirect you to the store? Bottom line: Don't count on Firehouse Subs to fix their mistakes. If something goes wrong, you'll be left hunting for a resolution like I was. I used to be a regular now I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

Love Firehouse but the Hardin Valley location is terrible. My stopped on the way. They didn't toast either sub! I I ordered turkey on wheat with lettuce cheese and mustard. Go it home. The manager at the Firehouse Subs on Medical Center Blvd Murfreesboro, Tn went above and beyond!!! My daughter called to let them know we were going to come in with a party of 18 so he'd have a heads up. He went out a bought a gallon of ice cream, a bag of candy, and a birthday card ( which was signed by all the employees!) That's amazing! He made my grandson's 13 birthday one to remember!!! Update on my negative review a day ago. Went back expecting a positive response to my request for another sandwich and full bowl of soup. Cody, the manager defiantly, rocking back and forth with his hands in his pockets, told me no, unless I had a receipt. I showed him the time stamped photo of the inch filled soup bowl. He even acknowledged that they had been filling what were to-go salad bowls partially full for two days as they had no soup bowls, but continued to state "no receipt, no sandwich"!! I know good help is tough to find these days, but really. With four sub shops within a mile of this place, like me, look elsewhere! read more

We ordered 3 sandwiches, after about 15-20 minutes, we finally received 2 of the 3 sandwiches. We asked about the 3rd and were told we didn't pay for it. We were told we had to pay again to get our sandwich. The guy who took our order even repeated it back to us, so we know we did indeed pay. Staff was very rude and extremely unapologetic. I have never been to a firehouse sub. Every employee here greeted us by saying welcome to farmhouse subs. It was very cool and warm and friendly. The restaurant was super clean. Haven't eaten here before, but this is actually the best sub sandwich I've ever had. It was excellent. read more

I used the app to order our sub sandwiches and walked in to pick them up. I ordered the white meatball with extra provolone and add mozzarella cheese, toasted. The app said the sandwiches would be ready at 1:50pm. They were not ready. Went to get my hot sauces in my sample cups while I was waiting, the bottles were empty. Told the gentleman behind the counter about them and asked if there were anymore to replace those bottles. NOPE! No hot sauces. WHY? I counted 11 bottles that were just sitting there empty! This is worst location. Would recommend you find another location. Very disappointed in the cut of all the good hot sauces. I asked for extra pickle spears and when we got home to eat them, they were not in the bag. read more

Food was good BUT service was awful. The store was not busy at 5:30 on a Friday evening. Had plenty of staff but evidently the 5-6 employees I saw thought only the "new guy" could make the sandwiches. My order sat on top of the counter for at least 5-10 minutes and once they realized they had not called my name, I was told the "new guy" through away my ticket before calling my name. Seemed the crew was too busy talking then doing their job. Bad management in my opinion. Will not be back at this location. read more

Waited for 20 minutes while the team made 2 sandwiches. Left the mayo and mustard off as these were for the lake the following day. Horrendous, no flavor, very little meat and a drizzle of melted cheese. Being from NYC, I know what a sandwich should look and taste like, and this isn't it. The food is good but wished they had fries and onion rings but enjoyed the food and also good service.

The time it took to fix our food was not as expected. Normally it takes 10-15 min from order to eating. We sat for 45 minutes before we got our meal. It's possibly a problem with management because the workers seemed disorganized. We weren't the only ones who sat for a long time. I am normally a huge fan of Sub and sandwiches. Being a huge fan of food I had heard great things about Firehouse subs in the south. Last week I decided to listen to the google lady when she told me it was just off the freeway. I have to say I was disappointed with the food and the service. Important fact: Do not bring your vegetarian girlfriend to this place the staff will laugh at her and tell her that they basically don't know what is in the tuna and don't care.. Secondly do not expect to get your food fast even though there is nobody else in the restaurant. Third do not even try to ask them to point out which one is the meat sub otherwise you will see you food slammed on the counter like you are trying to stun a fish that you just caught. Basically if you like to be treated like cr@p and eat sub-par food, and be treated like a criminal in state facility that is just told to eat and enjoy you may like this place otherwise I recommend going next door to KFC. YES subway is far better and cheaper IMO. read more

The standard is kept well preserved when it comes to the food! This place taste the same as every other firehouse I have eaten at. The only reason the Lenoir City location got 4 stars is due to the cleanliness of the store. The bathroom trash can was over flowing with paper towels, trash on the floor, and almost slipped when getting my drink from some substance not water.. I've been to several different Firehouse locations in the past, all with excellent service & great food, in fact it's been one of my favorite sandwich shops....until we came to the Lenoir City location. My sister and I ordered a to-go order online and I went to pick it up (about 10 minutes away). I pick it up, the staff isn't rude but they aren't friendly either. I get home, open up my sandwich and it's completely wrong, despite what the receipt shows I ordered. I call, tell them I'm coming back in and ask if I need to bring the receipt and the sandwich back. The shift leader says "You need to bring EITHER the sandwich OR the receipt." I repeat this back to her to ensure I heard her correctly and I did. So I leave the sandwich because my husband will probably eat it, and drive the 10 minutes back with my receipt. I get there and they REFUSE to make me a new sandwich or refund my money because I didn't have both. I call over the shift leader and quote verbatim what she said and asks if I heard her correctly AND SHE SHRUGS!!! The manager (a 17-18 Year old) keeps telling me he "physically can't do anything about it." ((I don't think he understand's what 'physically can't' means) I drive the 10 minutes home, grab the sandwich AND the receipt and head back where they are extremely rude. The next day I called the manager who told me to come in and get a refund and when I come in a few days later, the manager is out and I'm told to come back. I come back THREE different times and the manager still isn't there, and no one can do refunds except him, but needless to say, I never got a refund, or heard from the manager. Never will I recommend this location for their incompetence and rudeness, nor will I eat here again. read more

Upon entering the door no welcome to firehouse sub from anyone in the store , appeared to me the manager was on the phone the sandwich maker was making sandwiches the cashier was just standing there I walked up then I said how can you help me ? She just looked at me ! I said what no welcome to firehouse subs ? She turned and looked to the sandwich maker who had a sucker stick hanging out of his mouth Thomas was his name ,her name was covered up by her strap on our uniform they both said she acted like she did not want to welcome to firehouse subs I gave her my order and told her that was all only sandwiches number 10 two large for $19.87 then she asked me with I would like to have chips and a drink with that and as I previously discussed with her all I wanted was two number 10 sandwiches large and that will be all it just seems you don't want my business read more
