By far the worst Italian sub I have ever had. Lunch meat, mayo and a bit of lettuce. 20 minute wait and not crowded.

I really used to enjoy this place. Unfortunately their staff has a lot to be desired. The blonde girl, is so beyond unprofessional. I tried calling, she put me on hold I was on hold for at least 15 minutes. I then arrived and came inside. I said you can take me off hold now- I'm here. She laughed in my face. I guess she thought it was funny. It wasn't. I've now been here 10 minutes past my pick up time waiting for my sandwiches. This is my second time to this place because I love their Spicy Chicken Cajun sandwich. The reasons I'm writing this review is because I'm compelled to lol. But jokes aside, admittedly I got to this place early on than I should, I thought it was opened at 9 AM but on their window it says it opens 10 AM daily. I spoke with a nice lady there, she told me she called the headquarter to tell someone to fix the error for the hours thingy on Google I think. Anyways the man there told me I'm one hour early, we went back and forth saying same thing. Which I find it a bit odd and funny but kinda stupid really. I go "oh, okay but may I sit here and wait?" And he goes "but we are not open yet" then we go back and forth playing ping pong, saying exact line. Finally he said I may come in at 9:30 AM and wait. So I waited until 9:45 AM and this nice lady I mentioned about, greeted me with a hello and with a smile. I asked if I could sit and wait until they're opened. She was gladly let me. I remember her name, it was Irene and she was fantastic with customer service. She greeted everyone with friendly smile and robust good attitude. As being a deaf person, she saw me signing to a friend of mine in sign language and she knew exactly how to deal with me. I hope she can keep doing that with others who are deaf like me. She took the time to deal with me and with patience. The first time I came here, I met a woman who knows Sign Language it was real nice but I wish she would have been more friendlier. She not once gives me a smile. I love to do business with people who has positive attitude with smile but professionally. She didn't do any of that so. As for the foods, it was incredible. Same amount of selection as Subway offers. But their foods taste real to me as I think. The dining seatings is limited but there are plenty for everyone I wish they would have bigger space. This place has the worst customer service!! Read everybody's reviews about the management and understand that that is what you would be getting into if you do business with them. Manager Valerie was nothing but competitive to anything that we were trying to say to her. After placing our order an hour before our pick up time still having to sit there and wait for 10 minutes and nothing but excuse after excuse. Not one apology!!! We will NOT be eating HERE again!!!!! FYI, their "promise time" to pick up orders means nothing! The manger even said that it doesn't mean you get your food at that time.... um what??? Doesn't a promise mean they will have it ready at that time? Bad business!!! My husband and I live all the way across Menifee next to a perfectly good sandwich place. Decided to try this out since we love sandwiches. Ordered online and when we got home realized they didn't give us a Mac and cheese we ordered. It's almost $5 for Mac n cheese and it's such a waste of money to not even get to try it. We came here the other day for a T-Mobile Tuesday award (free 6 inch sub!) the wait was a little longer than usual. i think there was one girl making sandwiches for the lone customer that was waiting, and we stood by the registers for about 5 minutes for someone to show up from the back. I got my free 6 inch with a drink and my husband wanted to get the 6 inch and make it a large sandwich and he pays the difference. the employee didn't really know how to do that so he honored the free 6 inch, charged us for a small sandwich and made my husband a large sandwich and gave him a free cup on top of that, which was pretty cool. the italian sandwiches were delicious, we love the way they shred their meats. we both got sweet iced teas to drink, which were a little on the sweet side but it's okay. it was pretty empty while we were eating, only 2 other customers came by to pick up orders. we were able to eat inside, in peace and refilled our cups and left! before we left though, the one girl that was making sandwiches asked how our food was and told us to have a great day :) first time at firehouse subs here on the west coast and it wasn't a bad experience! read more

Today is $5 meatball sub day, which they have been promoting all week. When I went to place an order on the app, i couldn't find a way to get this deal. So I changed locations to Riverside and it showed up. Changed back to this one and still no deal, so I called. The girl said they are honoring it, they know the app is messed up but their working on it, and if I came down they would honor it in store. I drove down (takes me 5 -10 min, which is why I called) and when I get there they said they know it's still messed up on app but she "just talked to the owner" and their still working on it. I asked "but your still honoring it, right?" "NO" was the quick answer. I told her I called first and that's why I drove down. she quite sarcastically told me to "have a nice day" and walked in back. The promoted the crap out of it, then didn't honor it, even after calling. I know customer service seems to be a thing of the past, with the exception of In-N-Out, but really? If they know and acknowledge the app is the problem, why in the world wouldn't they just apologize for that and make sure your still happy by giving you the deal? Nonsensical. Now, they've lost a customer, one that's supported them since they opened. And it isn't just me, even passively, I'll share the experience with friends and family. I really wanted to like it here. I wanted this to be my sandwich spot. Unfortunately, I've eaten here dozens of times, and 9/10 times my sandwich will be made incorrectly. The last time I was here I ordered a sandwich with no onions and to add cherry peppers. There was a ton of onions added and no cherry peppers to be found. The workers at the Menifee location are so rude, they definitely don't want to be there and have the weirdest attitude. While waiting for my order they kept talking smack about their other coworkers, saying they didn't like them and blah blah blah. First time experience was definitely ruined. Never coming back. I just want to give a huge shoutout to the workers of this Firehouse Subs location. They are a BUSY location, especially on Sundays. Considering they get completely slammed all the time, they handle it well and are transparent with their customers on wait-times and trying to get the orders made as quickly and as accurately as they can. The sandwiches taste great every single time. HOWEVER: Management, if you are reading this, get your sh*t together. please give this location more staff. If you report to a district manager or an owner, let them know you need authorization to schedule more workers. I do not know if this location is franchised or owned by corporate itself, but get the scheduling together and staff the floor better. It is not their fault that sometimes the orders take a while. It is not their fault they are sometimes getting yelled at by customers for the long wait-times. It is your fault or whoever is approving labor. They are slammed, doing the best they can, and I can tell they are stressed out because they need more help. My first beef is just with Firehouse in general. The menu doesn't show bread options, cheese options, veggie options. Even the Build Your Own Sub option doesn't list those, just meats. Let me tell you something: this location specifically does NOT have the patience to NOT list those options. Everyone here, except the guy, had a STANK attitude. Then, I can only assume this other woman is the manager; she was wearing a Firehouse sweatshirt and had long, pink stiletto nails. She said something snarky to the male employee before walking out. After he served us, he went outside and she was reprimanding him IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. There was not a single table there that didn't have customers. I'm a BIG FAN of Firehouse Subs but this location is AWFUL. Ordered online and the order was completely WRONG. They made ZERO attempts to get it right. They just made what they felt like making. Two of the three sandwiches were just thrown in the trash. I shouldn't have to go in there and actually watch them make the sandwiches to make sure they're correct. What a shame. It all boils down to poor management and lack of supervision. I will not be returning to this location and unfortunately, the location on Ynez in Temecula is not much better.
