This place is such a classic burger spot. The service is above and beyond. They have lots of cool decor and a simple clean traditional layout. The burgers have great flavor and the fries are damn near perfect.

Yellow Basket is off the 215fwy off the Newport exit located on the corner of Haun Rd. & Newport Rd. by Texas Roadhouse. Staff I've encountered lately has been amazing. I've tried plenty of their menu items such as their 'Burgers, Breakfast, Pastrami, Salads, Sandwiches, and Asada Burrito'. I've loved it all, EXCEPT their Asada Burrito, which is flavorless filled with too many beans, rice, guac and barely any meat. The restaurant is clean and organized, always decorated, depending on the season. It's always a good meal, but I will stay away from any 'Mexican style' menu items.

The moment you step inside the door you get hit with the scent of mildew. The staff and regulars must be immune to it by now but it is strong if you're new. This is our very first visit after being in the area for nearly 10 years and wanted to finally give YB a go for some brekkie. We forge ahead and order an Ultimate Breakfast as it seemed like a good deal for the undecided and an Avocado Toast. We find seating in the back to wait for our food. Luckily the mildew scent isn't as strong in the back of the dining room. The food arrives and the Ultimate Breakfast contains all the faves, 3 eggs (cooked to your preference), a couple of bacon strips, sausage links, ham, and a mound of hash browns. Along with two slices of toast and two pancakes. The Avocado Toast is enough to fill you up but I felt they skimped on the actual avocado and were more generous on the toppings to hide that fact. Everything was pretty much on par with diner food, the only real disappointment was the pancakes, which were quite rubbery like they mixed the batter for way too long. I literally needed a knife to slice through them. Service was pleasant and adequate. A lot of their diners seemed to be older seniors and they have a discount menu to accommodate them. Overall, a decent spot for 3 stars but not sure if we'll ever become "regulars" since the stink of mildew (minus 1 star) will likely keep us away.

When I moved to the area about 3.5 years ago, the YB was a place to get good portion for a good price. However, pricing has gotten out of control. Especially compared to what is given. My firdt angst was when they raised the price of the breakfast burrito when egg prices went up. Ok. Prices went up for eggs and there was a sign that said once egg prices were down, the price of the burritos with eggs would go back down. That did not happen. Now the burritos with eggs are excessively overpriced for no reason. What drove me to a review today. I was going to fet a breakfast meal, but decided on a sandwich. I ordered the pastrami sandwich. Which BTW, isn't listed with a price in the drive through menu. I dont drink pop so I just wanted the sandwich and the small sized onion rings. These two items came to $26 and change. I was like wait, what?!?! When I asked at the window the sandwich itself comes to $18.22. With the small onion rings $26. $8 dollars for a single order of onion rings!! WHAT! NO. I Ended up just getting the pastrami sandwich since I was in the drive through line. The sandwich DOES NOT look like the one pictured. They put it on a long roll type bread. The bread isn't grilled and crunchy like you'd expect. Would have taken just a few more moments to do so. There is a decent amount of pastrami, but definitely not nearly $18 worth. I'm so disappointed in how jacked up their prices are compared to products size and preparation. Just another resturant I will add to my never ever again list.

We arrived right when they opened at 3 PM on a Saturday. The hostess was sweet and quickly showed us to our table. As soon as we walked in, I noticed the paintings on the walls--they were beautiful and really added to the atmosphere. If you want to learn some history behind the restaurant ask Tiffany for the story behind the paintings :) We started with a couple of drinks, and they were delicious. I ordered a Bloody Maria (basically a Bloody Mary made with tequila), and it was really good. For an appetizer, we got the Grilled Corn Ribs, and wow--they were so tasty. We couldn't stop talking about how good they were. For our entrées, we ordered the Double Stacked Cheeseburger and the Cavatelli pasta. I really enjoyed the pasta. The flavor was delicious, and while the noodles were a bit thicker than I expected, it was still a great dish. My partner wasn't the biggest fan of the burger because of the Southwestern pimento cheese, but the fries were excellent! I tried the burger myself and honestly thought it was still pretty good. It was also my partners birthday so they brought a cute little dessert! Overall, we had a great experience. Our waiter, Jose, was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. We'd definitely come back and try more items on the menu.

It has been our go-to steakhouse, and we've even celebrated our anniversary here. We love the food, which makes what happened during our son's birthday dinner especially disappointing. After an excellent steak dinner that cost approximately $330, we brought out a small, pre-sliced ice cream Polar Pizza for our son's birthday. I began serving it myself because it was already sliced. The waitress then came over and, in a confrontational manner, announced that we would be charged a $25 cake-cutting fee. The fee may have previously been mentioned to my wife, but I was not aware of it when I began serving the cake. I understand that restaurants have policies, and a calm explanation would have been enough. Instead, the situation was turned into an unnecessary scene during our son's birthday celebration. Then another large male employee came over, stepped directly into my personal space, and angrily asked, "Would you bring beer into a bar?" He got right in my face without first asking what had happened or allowing me to explain. His tone and decision to get that close were aggressive, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. We ultimately paid the $25 fee even though the staff did not cut, plate, or serve the cake. The fee was frustrating, but the confrontational way the employees handled the situation was far worse. Families considering celebrating a child's birthday here should confirm every outside dessert policy beforehand. In our case, what should have been a joyful moment for our son became an upsetting experience. It did not leave us feeling as though families celebrating with children were welcomed or valued. A simple and respectful conversation could have resolved everything in seconds. Instead, their response changed the entire mood and ruined what should have been a special ending to our son's birthday dinner. The food may still be excellent, but a restaurant is remembered for more than its steaks. After years of loyalty, the aggressive and disrespectful way this was handled during our son's birthday has cost them our business. We will not be returning.

The menu is very basic, also reminiscent of classic burger joints. You can get a classic burger, bacon burger, and one other burger (I forgot the last one). You can order up to four patties if you're extra adventurous. The most expensive burger with four patties is about $20. Fries are crispy shoestring style and pair well with the burgers. I wouldn't say the "Papa Sauce" is anything crazy, it's essentially thousand-island sauce. Papa Smash's mascot is an instant icon, he's a mix of Bob's Big Boy & Ness from Earthbound. Love the retro style of the indoor seating area, There's plenty of tables and a fountain for drink refills. The joint is super clean, I'd gladly visit with a little group again. Parking is shared with next door gas station and car wash, so it's slightly limited. Note: This is NOT gas station food, it's solely on its own and a separate business. The wagyu is incredible, you'd make a mistake passing this up.

The blue lemonade tasted pretty similar to regular lemonade, but the free refills were a nice bonus. The strawberry lemonade was the standout and definitely worth ordering. We also tried the Dragonfruit Sparkler, which was fruity, refreshing, and one of the better specialty drinks on the menu. For entrees, the Herb Crusted Chicken Dinner was the clear winner. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and well-seasoned, and the corn on the side was surprisingly delicious. The Country Fried Chicken Dinner was just okay. It wasn't bad, but I've had better versions elsewhere, and even with the gravy it felt a little lacking in flavor. The fries were pretty standard. Another plus was the large parking lot and the reasonable prices. The portions were generous, and overall the meal felt like a good value for the money. A special shoutout to Candace for providing friendly and attentive service throughout our visit. Overall, Texas Roadhouse delivered a solid dining experience with good food, affordable prices, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'd definitely come back for the herb crusted chicken and strawberry lemonade.

Why would anyone ever bring a fake ID to drink at a Bushfire Kitchen in Menifee? Christ. However, I'm mostly annoyed at how avoidant the staff was about it. I waited for my drink, followed up, then they sheepishly explained to me that they "just can't give me the drink because I seem a bit young". That's fine. Just stop avoiding it. It's also not lost on me that a big factor of that is probably because of my ethnicity. On top of that, I had to inquire if they had an ID scanner and they said no. I had to ask for the receipt myself of them refunding it (allegedly) so at least I could make sure that I was given my money back for the drink they declined me. Wouldn't recommend this place at all.
