It took 3 separate people to understand how to input a cheeseburger bowl for my meal. The first one told me it couldn't be done, which is ridiculous considering I've been ordering it for years. While it's true that I didn't say "cheeseburger bowl" specifically, because I forgot the name, I did describe it, saying I wanted the burgers in a container with lettuce, onions, tomato, mushrooms etc. The first lady was like "oh we don't do that, just a lettuce wrap." I've been to many Five Guys locations.. but have came to this location in Menifee a couple times now. Food is always great because it's made fresh. Service is top tier. I came around early dinner time, so expected it was quite busy.. but I got my orders in a timely manner. Ambiance is nice and clean. They have many seating areas, high tops, as well as lower seating.. for those preferred. And their shakes machine ISN'T broken! Definitely a bonus for those craving a delicious milkshake. Downgrading one star because they continue to pack food in a thin paper bag, and if there are French fries in the order, they spill out of the silly cup they put them in and the outside of the bag is full of grease upon delivery, and it just not a great way to have food traveling from the establishment to my door. Also, on Doordash app and Yelp ordering online, this establishment does not allow any comments, so the fries arrive undercooked and soggy. First weekend it's open and of course we had to try it. I've never tried five guys burgers and fries until now. It's a tie with In-N-Out to be honest with you. The difference is that the burgers are thicker, making it a bit juicier. Also, more options as far as burgers go. They even have a veggie burger, hot dogs and grilled cheese on the menu. My favorite part is that there's 15 free topping to choose from. I also love the sofa machines, I was able to add a bit of raspberry and orange in my ginger ale. The fries are good, I like them Cajun. Very flavorful. The fries came in a cup and then extra fries in the bag for you to take to go if you feel like it. While waiting for your order, you're served free peanuts to snack on. I thought it was a nice touch. No to mention, the waitress kept coming by to ask us if there was anything else we needed and anything she can help us with, even though it's a fast food joint. I thought it was a nice little touch. Horrible customer service. We ordered Cajun style fries and asked if we could just get a few normal fries since we had our 1 year old daughter with us and she can't eat spicy. Cashier said ok.
